Yu Lu[1] is a secondary character in Miraculous World: Tokyo - Stellar Force and the animated spin-off series Miraculous Stellar Force. She is a student at Kano Academy, a hero and member of the Stellar Force. She is the current bearer of the Cancer Fragment, which allows her to become Cancer and one of the guardians who possess a fragment of the Stellar Matrix.

Yu Lu is appears to be a petite chubby Japanese teenager. She has light skin, gentle brilliant pink eyes with a single lash on each side, and shoulder length jet-black hair styled in low braids in the front. She has inward curled forelocks, short bangs with a small piece near the left and a parted middle, and rounded, thick eyebrows.
Civilian Attire[]
Yu Lu wears a pink cheongsam with lighter trim, wide cuffs, and pastel blue buttons, an ankle-length pastel pink skirt, white socks, and black loafers. She accessorizes with a baby clue cap tilted at right to match the bows holding her pigtails. She wears brilliant fuchsia glasses.
As Cancer[]
Cancer wears a jumpsuit shared with her teammates: a black jumpsuit with rectangular-detailed white elbow trim, abdomen, thigh trim, and shins. On her chest is a black four-point star. Her lower arms (except her fingers), torso, shoulders, inner thighs, sides of her knees, and feet are all pastel pink with black fingers and rectangular soles. Her helmet is black with a pastel pink chin, silver components covering her ears, and pastel pink pieces resembling her pigtails with the same bows from before and pastel blue bands. On her left wrist is her pastel pink and black watch, the Cancer Sprite.

Etymology[]
- The name Yu Lu is of Chinese origin, which combines the words "Yu" (玉, 愉, 雨) meaning "jade", "precious stone", "gem", "pleasant", "delightful" or "rain" respectfully[2] and "Lu" (露, 禄, 陆, 鹿) meaning "dew", "blessing", "happiness", "prosperity", "land", "continent", "mainland" or "deer" respectfully.[3]
- Cancer, Yu Lu's hero name, is based on Cancer zodiac and constellation, the fourth zodiac sign.[4]

- Yu Lu is somehow inspired by Tappei Mikami/Sazer Gans from Chouseishin Gransazer, whereas both represent the Cancer constellation.
- Yu Lu could be associated with the Cancer sign in various ways:
- Her theme color is pink, which is a color the Cancer sign can represent.
- However, it can also be associated with the color baby blue, which is quite fitting with how Yu Lu's accessories are that exact color to compliment her outfit.
