(This is my own version of what happens next after the wishmaker episode! It took me a long time to type and I hope that you'll like it like my other fanfiction! Let's get started!)
Unbelievable[]
Luka has been watching Marinette very carefully since he knew that she was Ladybug. She was a lot like Ladybug and wondered why he has never seen that side of her. Maybe he watched Marinette too closely because Alya soon figured everything out…well part of it…
“One day, Alya and Marinette was in the latter’s room”
Somebody knocked on her trapdoor.
-Quick Alya! Help me clean everything up!
But instead of helping, Alya just opened the trapdoor and Luka came in.
-What th-
-Luka knows…interrupted Alya. He knows that you are Ladybug…
-WHAT?! How…
-I’ll let you both talk…
Alya went away and there was only Luka and Marinette left.
-So I presume that when Wishmaker hit me, you saw me turn into a knitting fairy, then you used your power and…
-I’m so sorry Marinette…
-That’s…fine. She said as she sat on her chair. Why did you lie to me?
-I…it was unbelievable…and knowing Cat Noir’s identity was-
-Wait…you know Cat’s identity?!
-Yes…it’s A-
-No, No, No! We must not know each other’s identity!
-Oh…sorry…at least now I know that you had a good reason to break up with me…he said smiling.
-I’m so sorry…I had no choice, it was to protect you and…
-Look Marinette, it’s fine, don’t worry. He replied smiling.
-D-Did y-you tell Cat that you knew his identity? She asked. It was the question she has been willing to ask since the beginning.
-No…I wanted to talk to you first.
-Oh…well at least I owe you an explanation about…everything…
And she told him everything, absolutely everything. She knew that she could trust Luka. She told him why she had to lie to her partner, her difficulties, Cat Blanc, Bunnyx, Master Fu etc. They talked for three hours and Luka promised not to tell anybody and would be happy to help her like Alya did.
-Actually…I would prefer if you came to fight with me and Cat…
-Really?!
-Well…you see, Rena Furtive can’t but I could really use some help and with your power will help us prevent other people from knowing our secret identities…What do you say?
-Yeah!
-Great! She replied smiling.
From that moment, Luka was officially “part of the team”. He was in every single fight with Ladybug and Cat Noir. He was everywhere! Marinette invited him at the movies with her friends and they both could stay locked up in her room for hours, talking. Cat Noir was feeling drifted apart, at first he wasn’t sure but…
“One fight with Mr Pigeon”
-I don’t understand…I just gave him a magical charm…did it stop working?!
-The most important thing is that we defeated him M’lady…replied Cat Noir.
-Yeah…she said looking down.
-Heeyy…you’ll figure it out soon enough. I’ll help you, don’t worry…and who knows maybe he just lost his magical charm! Said Viperion both hands on her shoulders, making her look at him.
-Yeah…thank you Viperion. Replied Ladybug.
-I guess you guys don’t need me anymore…I’m out of here! Cat Noir said sarcastically. He was tired of seeing Ladybug and Viperion together, it was as if they knew each other personally.
-Cat! Wait!
-What?! What could you possibly need me for Ladybug? He said angrily and went away.
-I’ll…talk to him…said Viperion and went after him as Ladybug went back to her place.
“Between Cat Noir and Viperion”
They were both running on the roofs of houses. Cat Noir was ahead of Viperion who was yelling after him.
-Cat Noir! Wait! Adrien!
-Wait…What?! Cat Noir was so shocked that he fell from a roof and Viperiin caught him.
-We need to talk Adrien…and guided him to a deserted street and they both sat against the wall.
-How, how…
-Second chance…with Wishmaker…
-Oh…does-
-Look…I know that you have a lot of questions but I must get back to Ladybug so I’ll explain everything quickly.
-Ok…
Viperion explained everything that Ladybug told him, her doubts, her difficulties, Cat Blanc, etc.
-Incredible…but who are you?
Viperion detransformed and smiled,
-Luka?!
-Yes…I am Viperion…
-Did Ladybug ask you to tell me all of this?
-No…she didn’t…I did it by myself because if I hadn’t told you, her biggest fear would have come true; you akumatized into Cat Blanc. While wanting to protect you, she made things worst…
-Oh…so Ladybug trusts you…
-Yes, me and Rena Furtive know her identity but I already told you that…she loves you Adrien…
-Wait! What?! You didn’t tell me that?! I have to go talk to her!
-Calm down…he replied laughing.
-That’s huge! How-
-I’ll bring her to you…I promise…
-Really? Thank you! He said and hugged Luka.
Luka transformed back to Viperion and went to talk to Ladybug.
“In Marinette’s room”
Luka told Marinette everything as soon as he left Adrien.
-What did you do?! This is a disaster!
-I did the right thing…
-How can you possibly think that?!
-I just prevented him from getting akumatized!
-But-
-Look Marinette, I know that deep inside of you, you know that I did the right thing…you should have seen him, he was miserable! Here, giving Marinette a piece of paper. Read it and you’ll know who he really is…you’ll thank me later. He said and went away.
-Read it! Said Tikki.
-No…No…I can resist…I don’t need to know…
-I know that you want to know…it will be worth it, I promise…
-Ok…she took a deep breath and read the paper. Adrien! Oh my god! Cat Noir is Adrien!
-Yes!
-I have been rejecting Adrien! The boy that I love! I have been lying to him…I was awful to him! He probably hates me!
-What are you talking about Marinette? He loves you!
-I don’t know Tikki…you know…maybe that’s not him!
-Luka wrote “Adrien” on the paper! Not another name!
-I just can’t believe that I rejected him so many times…I have to see it by myself to believe that Cat Noir is actually Adrien…
“At Adrien’s house”
Somebody knocked on Adrien’s door in his room.
-Maybe it’s Ladybug!
The door opened and Nathalie came in presenting Marinette.
-Your friend insisted to see you, Adrien…
-Thanks Nathalie
-The door closed behind Nathalie and left Marinette and Adrien alone.
-Hey…so I wanted to-
-Did I ever tell you, that you look prettier with your hair down? It seems more natural…he said smiling.
-Thanks…she replied blushing a little. So Alya and I are writing an article about Ladybug on the Ladyblog and since she saved you multiple times…I wanted to know how she was!
-Oh! Sure! And Adrien talked for about thirty minutes describing how amazing she was. He had details about the fights that only Cat Noir could have known…It was confirmed, Adrien Agreste was Cat Noir!
“Unbelievable!” she muttered to herself.
-Ok! I think that I have everything I need! Thank you Adrien!
-No problem…he said smiling. Are you coming to the movies tonight?
-Oh…I don’t-
-Come on Marinette! We all missed you last time!
-Fine…
-Great!
-Ok, I have to go…Bug out! She said and went away.
“Bug out”? Didn’t Ladybug say that every time she went away? Was Marinette, Ladybug?! That was impossible, maybe Marinette was just a fan girl of Ladybug…that’s all…but he still had to be sure…
“Later”
Alya, Nino, Adrien and Marinette had great fun at the movies, Luka was unable to come because he was writing a song with his father. Adrien observed Marinette at the movies, but it wasn’t enough. If he had to compare her attitude with Ladybug’s, he would say that they were very similar but then, something happened that made him convinced that Marinette was Ladybug; he saw Tikki coming out of her purse! Then the kwami went back into it. In his head he couldn’t stop thinking, “Marinette is Ladybug, Ladybug, the love of my life has been in front of me all this time! It’s unbelievable!”
“Late at night”
Adrien couldn’t sleep at all. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. He had to see her. Even if she was sleeping, he had to see her…He transformed and went to her place. The window/ trapdoor was slightly open and without any noise, he entered. Marinette was sleeping peacefully and without thinking, Cat Noir climbed on the bed, next to her. He didn’t think for a second what her reaction would be when she would wake up in the morning. All he knew was that when he was close to her, he felt like home. Marinette cuddled next to him and mumbled in her sleep,
-Kitty…
She was surely dreaming about him. They slept face to face all night and when she woke up in the morning, she didn’t shout at all but just smiled. Cat Noir was still sleeping and she caressed his hair gently to wake him up.
-Good morning…she whispered smiling.
-Heyyy…
-Are you going to tell me what you are doing here? She said sitting up.
-Sorry…I just wanted to see you…
-Won’t your father be worried about you?
-M-My f-father?
-Oh come on! I know it’s you Adrien! She replied laughing.
Adrien detransformed and laughed,
-I know that you are Ladybug…
-Yeah…I figured that out…
-I’m so happy that it’s you! He said and hugged her tightly.
-Me too! I’m so sorry…she said tears rolling down her cheeks…that I had to lie to you, I should have told you the truth…I-
-Hey…interrupted Adrien wiping her tears with a finger. Luka told me everything and from my point of view…you really had a good reason not to tell me everything…
-Thanks kitty…she said smiling.
-Anytime bugaboo!
-Don’t you have to go? Your father…
-I just have to do something first…
-What is it?
Without answering, Adrien put a hand on her cheek and brought her closer. He kissed her and it was even better than he thought it would be. Marinette kissed him back. It was amazing and…miraculous!
“Meanwhile at the park”
Luka was sitting on a bench playing his guitar when someone came to sit next to him.
-Hi! I’m Zoe, you’re Juleka’s brother right?
-Yes, that’s me. He replied smiling.
-I really love your highlights, blue goes great on you.
-Thanks…yours are great too…your shoes are nice…
-Thanks! I made them myself. So, what’s your tune?
-My tune?
-Yes, how is the music describing your feelings?
-Oh! I don’t know yet…
-Well…I can try, I played a little guitar when I was a kid…
Luka handed her his guitar and Zoe played the loveliest melody ever. It really described Luka’s feelings. They were sad and happy at the same time. Luka and Zoe talked for a long time and both blushed a little every single time they bumped into each other.
