Tomoe Gozen (巴 御前) was a female samurai warrior (born 1157-1247) known for her bravery and strength. She was a past Miraculous holder, but it is unknown which Miraculous was hers.[1]

Appearance
Tomoe is a fair-skinned woman with chest-length black hair and dark brown eyes. She wore a blue ankle-length dress with sleeves down her elbow underneath a red coverings with sleeves down her elbow a long blue ribbon tied in a bow around her waist. She also wore a red mask with a yellow beak, white wings, and holds a naginata with a silver blade and light brown handle. To transform, she owned a Miraculous.[2]
Abilities
When transformed, Tomoe had enhanced physical abilities, a tool, and a special superpower.[3] In Kagami's mother's description, she was also told to have a white steed or horse implying that Tomoe had great horsemanship skills. She lived for quite a long time before ultimately dying at age 90.

- It's based on painting 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' by Katsushika Hokusai.
- The word gozen (御前) isn't a last name. It is an honorary title primarily given to women but also some men.[4] It roughly translates to "young lady" or "lord."
- As of her age, Tomoe Gozen is the oldest of all the female Miraculous holders but follows behind Master Fu as the second oldest of all the Miraculous holders.
