Stellar Force is a group of twelve Japanese superheroes based in Tokyo who guard fragments of the Stellar Matrix and protect people from evil stellar forces.
History[]
Despite it being unknown how they first came to be as a superhero team, it is known that the members of Stellar Force used to be a group of friends from an international school that specializes in educating its students both in academics as well as in sports.
In the past, the group met Kagami, a new student who, through Kazuno, became integrated into the group (even added to their group chat), even though she didn't have many interactions with the rest of them. After she left for Paris, she continued to remain aware of their conversations due to never being removed from their group chat.
At some point, all twelve of them came into possession of a piece of what is known as the Stellar Matrix, along with sprites, magical creatures with bracelet-like appearances. When they combine the pieces with the respective sprite, they become superheroes whose powers come from the twelve Western zodiac constellations. After they became superheroes, they started fighting against kaiju sent by Moddler, who is seeking the pieces of the Stellar Matrix.
Despite becoming superheroes and protecting Tokyo from kaijus, their inexperience caused them to struggle both as a team and as individuals. Because they never removed Kagami from their chat room, so she knew about their secret and their struggles, especially realizing that Kazuno, was struggling the most, due to still suffering from how their friendship ended. This led Kagami, who sought Ladybug's help as Ryuko.
Arriving in Tokyo, the pair watched five members of the team (Leo, Capricorn, Aries, Sagittarius and Cancer), battle against the taxi kaiju but the superheroes were having great difficulty, with Leo's solo focus on defeating the kaiju causing problems with the evacuation of bystanders and Capricorn's reluctance in working with the others. Even with Ryuko's help, the fight was difficult. When four of them combined their powers to create a giant cannon, Ladybug managed to deduce there was an innocent inside the kaiju. Despite her and Ryuko's attempts to stop them, they still obliterated the creature. To fix the situation, Ladybug used her Miraculous Ladybug to restore the kaiju and, with Capricorn's ability to see the creature's weak points, managing to find a solution to both defeat it and save the person inside. The realization that they could have killed an innocent person in their hurry to defeat their enemy caused the Stellar Force members to become more aware of their actions.
When Modeler and his servants created an army of five giant kaijus and a bunch of smaller ones capable of turning people into kaijus as well, Stellar Force became overwhelmed with the situation. While Ladybug tried her best to ease the situation her Miraculous Ladybug, Kagami went to fix her friendship with Kazuno, in this way allowing him to finally decide to combine his power with the others to create a giant combat robot to fight off the giant kaijus, which they managed to do with Ladybug and Ryuko's help.

- Stellar Force is based on Super Sentai (known in the Western countries as Power Rangers) a team of people who transform into superheroes and gain superpowers, color-coded uniforms, signature weapons, sidearms, and fighting skills and battle a group of otherworldly supervillains that threaten to take over the planet.
- Even though it's inspired by Super Sentai as a whole, Stellar Force seems to draw even more direct inspiration from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger (2017), as it features a 12-member team with a space theme focused on constellations.
- The helmet's design, inspired by their hair, seems similar to those seen in Battle Fever J and Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger.
- Despite being a team based in Japan, the members of Stellar Force come from a variety of nationalities and ethnicities, since they attend an international school.
- Some of the members of Stellar Force seem to possess personality traits that match their respective zodiac sign:
- Pili is bold, confident and energetic, traits normally associated to Aries.
- Miki is confident, a natural leader and competitive, even if somewhat arrogant, traits normally associated to Leo.
- Mayotte is intellectual, honest and admires other cultures, traits normally associated to Sagittarius.
- Kazuno is a devoted friend, hard-worker and reserved, traits normally associated to Capricorn.
- Stellar Force can also draw parallels to the Japanese series Gransazer, where as each team has twelve members corresponding with each of the 12 zodiac constellations.
