“ | I know my sister can be difficult, but if I survived my whole childhood with her, you can survive one weekend. | ” |
—Sabine Cheng to Marinette Dupain-Cheng, "Hack-San" |
Shu Yin Cheng is Sabine Cheng’s sister and the maternal aunt of Marinette Dupain-Cheng who currently lives in London, England.
Appearance[]
Shu Yin is pictured to be a young fair-skinned girl of average height with jet-back hair tied in two high ponytails held by pink bands with bowl-cut bangs and grey eyes.
Civilian Attire[]
Shu Yin wears a light orange three-quarter-length bolero with long sleeves over a pink shirt, a white skirt with a silver broad band around her waist, and blue sneakers with white toecaps and soles.
Personality[]
For what it was implied, Shu Yin doesn't seem to have a very pleasant demeanor, as both Marinette and Tom seem to dislike the idea of visiting her in London. According to Sabine, her sister is not a very easy person can be difficult to deal with sometimes, but Sabine grows defensive whenever her family speaks badly of her. Given her sibling's willingness to defend Shu Yin, Sabine possibly had a better relationship with her sister than her husband and daughter did.
