The sixth season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir will consist of 26 episodes, and premiered on January 24, 2025, via Gloob in Brazil.[4] This is the first season of the second story arc, after the Agreste family arc which ended with Season 5.
Overview
After Hawk Moth's disappearance, a new cycle begins.
Ladybug and Cat Noir must face a new enemy – mysterious, worrying, elusive, and yet close to them. Very close, but they have no idea.
Marinette and Adrien too have never been so close to each other, but that does not necessarily make their everyday life a bed of roses, for they keep secrets from each other. The biggest secret being that they still do not know that they are Ladybug and Cat Noir.
In a new and exemplary green Paris, in the heart of a new and revolutionary school, our heroes are about to experience a school year full of emotions and revelations.[10][11]

- For this season, the writing team of the previous four seasons (Thomas Astruc, Mélanie Duval, Frédéric/que Engel Lenoir, and Sébastien Thibaudeau) wrote the narrative arcs,[52] while the scripts were written by Astruc, Thibaudeau, and usually one new writer, namely:[53]

- This season and onwards are animated with Epic's Unreal Engine instead of Autodesk Maya. As a result, the crew is also no longer outsourcing the animation to other studios like SAMG Animation in South Korea or Assemblage Entertainment in India. The episodes will now have to be animated in France.[56][57]
- According to Thomas Astruc, it's necessary, because the original assets from Season 1 to Season 5 don't work anymore with newer versions of Maya.[58]
- Starting from this season, cold opens are used instead of the theme song playing immediately at the beginning of the episode.
- Furthermore, every episode so far has featured a post-end card scene.
- The families of Ivan, Nathalie, Marc and Nathaniel and the maternal and paternal grandparents of Adrien are revealed this season.
