The Sacred Cave Key is a bracelet that acts as a key, opening the vault inside the Sacred Cave where the Prodigious was kept before it was claimed by Hawk Moth in "Miraculous Shanghai".
After the bracelet is worn by a worthy Renren, Mei Shi, the lion spirit guardian of the Prodigious emerges from the bracelet as a kwami-like creature and becomes the familiar to the Renren.
Before the events of "Miraculous Shanghai", the bracelet was worn by Wu Shifu, who was the previous guardian of the Sacred Cave. He later passed it on to his adopted daughter, Fei Wu when he made her the new guardian. After the school was destroyed and Fei was orphaned, the bracelet was stolen from her while she was sleeping.
Cash, not knowing the bracelet's true purpose and worth, sold it to a mysterious buyer (Gabriel Agreste) for a great deal of money. After the defeat of YanLuoShi, Fei reclaimed the bracelet after Hawk Moth left it behind in the Sacred Cave.

The Sacred Cave Key is a bracelet with a black double filament. The charm is a jade cube with a dragon face on top and a polished jade sphere on either side.
