Roaar[5] is the kwami of Exaltation[6] who is connected to the Tiger Miraculous.[7] With her power, Roaar's wearer can use the panjas braclet to transform into a tiger-themed superhero.

Roaar is currently living with Marinette Dupain-Cheng while her Miraculous is dormant within the Chinese Miracle Box. When the situation requires it, she temporarily becomes active to help Juleka Couffaine transform into Purple Tigress.

Appearance

Roaar is 10 centimeters (or 4 inches) tall[2] and dark magenta, the bottom of her face and her belly being a lighter shade, with light orange eyes and two pointed white teeth. She also has round black tiger-like ears, three vertical black stripes on the top of her head, and a whisker on each cheek. Lastly, she has a long tail with a round black tip and two black stripes below the tip.

Personality

Roaar is fierce and confident. She prefers her Miraculous to be wielded by a holder who is not afraid to raise their voice.

Still, she doesn't like for her holder to be rude, when being commanded by those who are demanding or impolite, Roaar will refuse help and criticize them on their recklessness, such as she did with Chloé.

Like all the other kwamis, she too has a deep sense of responsibility on how her powers should be used.

Roaar is also notably curious about human items, such as art supplies and technology.

Abilities

Roaar can fly, levitate, and phase through solid objects. She can also carry objects that are larger and/or heavier than herself.

As a kwami, Roaar is able to transform the holder of the Tiger Miraculous into a tiger-themed superhero. The wearer of the Tiger Miraculous gains the power to use Clout, a superpower that allows the user to gather a tremendous amount of energy into their fist and unleash a very powerful punch.

History

Before Season 2

When the concept of Exaltation came into existence, Roaar came into existence. Before the Miraculous jewels were created, Roaar and the other kwamis traveled all over the universe unable to interact with humans. Then, thousands of years ago, a mage created the Miraculouses. When her Miraculous was not being worn, Roaar was dormant in the Tiger Miraculous, which was stored inside Master Fu's Miracle Box.

Season 2

During Season 2, Roaar has lain dormant in the Tiger Miraculous.

In "Sandboy", Roaar was celebrating Nooroo's birthday in the Miraculous Box with the others kwamis and was excited when Tikki and Plagg arrived. She marveled at the gift Tikki brought as she thought it was a paintbrush and draws a line with the marker to show the other kwamis. When it came the time to find Nooroo, Roaar got into position but in an effort to contact him, they contacted his wielder instead. Upon hearing his voice, she shuddered at the thought of being his slave and prevented herself from being discovered when they all cut off the connection. She realized if they contacted Nooroo's wielder, rather than Nooroo, then someone must have been akumatized and that Tikki and Plagg's wielders would be in danger.

Season 3

During Season 3, Roaar was dormant in the Tiger Miraculous.

In "Kwamibuster", she was activated along with their kwami brothers and sisters to help Multimouse enact her plan to rescue Tikki and Plagg. During the confrontation, Roaar was one of the few kwamis captured, but was set free with the help of Multinoir. After Kwamibuster's defeat, Roaar and the others cheered for Marinette as their plan was a success and was returned to Miracle Box.

In "Miracle Queen", she was activated alongside Stompp, Ziggy, Daizzi, Barkk, Mullo, Orikko, and Fluff, by Queen Bee with the intent to use them and their Miraculouses against Ladybug and Cat Noir. After being commanded to transform her, Roaar criticized her for not knowing the necessary transformation phrases and then promptly withheld her transformation phrase with the other kwamis. Upon hearing Master Fu announce that he will give up his title as "Guardian of the Miracle Box", she and the other kwamis attempt to persuade him not to do it. After failing to escape, Queen Bee throws off her Miraculous in frustration. Afterwards, Roaar and her Miraculous were returned to the Miracle Box by Ladybug.

Season 4

In "Truth", Roaar was accidentally released from the Miracle Box when Marinette tried to figure it out in her eagerness explored Marinette's room. During a video call Roaar and the others gathered around the new guardian's computer in amazement wondering why her friends were imprisoned. When Marinette leaves for her date with Luka, Roaar and her fellow kwamis hid with the Miracle Box. After the titular villain's defeat, Roaar and the others saw that Marinette was sad about breaking up with Luka to the point of tears, she didn't know exactly how to help but joined with the others in giving their new guardian a group hug.

In "Lies", Roaar was seen in Marinette's room.

In "Gang of Secrets", Roaar was seen talking with some of the kwamis until the guardian arrived home. Later, she and the others hear Marinette voicing her distress about being condemned to a life of secrets and lies forever because of her alter ego. When they hear someone coming the kwamis hide in the Miracle Box and after the Gang of Secrets had been defeated Roaar and the others look on as Marinette unveiled her secret to Alya.

In "Mr. Pigeon 72", Roaar is seen playing with one of Marinette's designer hats along with Barkk until the other kwamis decided to join in on the fun. Afterwards, they put it back and take cover when Marinette’s potion making attempts cause an explosion making a mess of her room; soon Roaar helps in cleaning up.

In "Furious Fu", hearing that Master Fu was returning, Roaar along with her fellow kwamis expressed dear desire to see him despite Marinette trying to keep them hidden for their safety and when their new guardian voiced concerns about leaving the Miracle Box unguarded. Roaar realized if someone stayed to guard the box, the others could go but when they cheated their way out so all of them going they were stopped by Marinette with no choice they used the "pup dog eyes" on her and Marinette reluctantly agreed. However, Roaar and the kwamis had a hard time keeping quiet while in Marinette's bag but heard that Master Fu is doing well and become a great painter.

But returning home, Roaar realized that Su-Han had returned to reclaim the box as he was the previous guardian before Master Fu's incident and with Su-Han's strictness she and the kwamis sadly returned to the box. After seeing Ladybug's valiant actions against the titular villain, Su-Han realized that Master Fu's choice wasn't so bad allowing Roaar and the other kwamis to stay with Marinette.

In "Crocoduel", Roaar and her Miraculous were lent to and activated by Juleka Couffaine in order to transform her into the superheroine Purple Tigress and defeat Captain Hardrock and Guitar Villain by using Roaar's Clout. After Juleka's task was completed, she gave the Miraculous back to Ladybug, who, in turn, sent Roaar and the panjas bracelet back to her own residence.

In "Optigami," Roaar grew excited when she heard that everyone was invited to the upcoming fashion event, thinking that they, the kwamis, would get to go as well. However, Marinette immediately denied this, reminding them of the rule that states that they cannot go anywhere unless their Miraculous is with an owner.

In "Sentibubbler", Roaar was visible in Marinette's room after she had a nightmare of Shadowmoth getting the Miracle Box and when she checked if the Miracle Box was there.

In "Wishmaker", Roaar and the kwamis voiced their ideas on what Marinette could do for her future.

In "Simpleman", she was in the sewing box with some of her siblings but when the Cesaire twins and Manon got a hold of the box and started shaking it Roaar and the kwamis got very dizzy.

In "Dearest Family", after Tikki ate the pieces of galette, Marinette brought for them, the kwamis quickly realized what she did. Roaar huddled together with others when they realized the danger Tikki's hunger for candy can represent, despite the kwami of Creation refusal at that. When Tikki and Marinette the kwamis flew around in a panic. Shortly after he watched Marinette, realize that Sass' warning was real and transforms to stop Tikki only to be affected by his sibling's hunger, which scared her. Hearing a commotion downstairs, Roaar and the others were commanded to hide. After Ladybug saved her family Daizzi and the kwamis see her return with pieces of galette for them. Despite that they were still nervous regarding Tikki, until Marinette ensured them that Tikki will control herself and the kwamis ate the pieces of galette happily.

In "Ephemeral", during the fight against Boniac, Roaar and her miraculous were given to Juleka and transformed into Purple Tigress. After the battle, Roaar and her jewel were returned to Ladybug. Later, they briefly met Sass' owner Luka when he came into Marinette's room, but their introductions were cut short; when Luka received a message from Ladybug allowing Sass use his power to go back to the last marked time.

Soon Roaar discovered why as she and everyone noticed the Absolute Power being activated meaning Shadow Moth obtained the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses and started his wish. Sass explained to Luka the consequences of it and the latter hurried the former to use his power, which he does, causing the kwamis' encounter with Luka to be erased.
