Place du Châtelet is one of the public squares in Paris, France. It contains the Fontaine du Palmier, the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Théâtre de la Ville.

Description[]
The Place du Châtelet is a rectangular square about sixty meters wide, located in the heart of Paris. To the north is the intersection of Avenue Victoria with Boulevard de Sébastopol and Rue de Saint Denis. To the south is the intersection of the Quai de Gesvres and the Quai de la Mégisserie, overlooking the Pont au Change.
The square has a rounded square central traffic divider on which there are many trees, benches and a Morris column. To the east there is a bus stop, while to the north there is access to the Châtelet metro station. The Fontaine du Palmier is right in the center of the square.
The Place du Châtelet is surrounded by many buildings. To the west is the Théâtre du Châtelet, to the east is the Le Grand Paris hotel and to the north is the Agreste mansion.

- In the series, the hotel Le Grand Paris is located on the site of the Théâtre de la Ville.
