Philippe[3] is a figure skating trainer who appears in Season 2 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is played by and based off of the figure skater, Philippe Candeloro. In the English version, he is voiced by animator Sam Marin, who is known for his voice work on Cartoon Network's Regular Show.
In "Frozer," after getting no one to register for his ice skating lessons, causing him to lose his ice rink, he is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Frozer, an ice skating-themed supervillain.[2]
Appearance
Physical appearance
Philippe is at a regular adult height, his hair is long and brown, and his eyes are brown.
Civilian attire
Philippe wears a white workout jacket, with a silver zipper and blue accents inside the collar along the forearms, and white sweatpants. He also wears black ice skates and a black necklace with silver circle shaped pendant. He has a dangle earring in his right ear.
As Frozer
His skin is deep azure gradually turning to light blue and then white on his head, hands and feet. His hair is slicked up and back and his feet are huge, light blue and white ice skates. He also has a light ceruleanish gray snowflake symbol on his chest. His sclera and nose are light purple, and his irises are brilliant opal.
Personality
Phillipe is a passionate ice skater. He regards his ice rink as his life and is enthusiastic on promoting his lessons.
He can be persuasive when wanting something, such as when he tried to convince Santa Claus to have Christmas come early. Phillipe is also helpful at times like when he held off Christmaster's army while Ladybug, Cat Noir and Santa escape.
As Frozer, he is determined to turn Paris into a city of ice and take Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous for Hawk Moth. He is incredibly confident and proud of his skating abilities, which eventually led to his downfall.

As Frozer, he can freeze entire cities with his ice skates. He also has the ability to shoot icicles out of his ice skates in midair.

- His villain form is similar to the Mega Man 11 Robot Master Tundra Man :
- Both are skilled figure skaters and incorporate their ice skating skills with ice manipulation to attack their opponents.
- However, Frozer is human while Tundra Man is a robot.
- He was first revealed on August 31, 2017, in a teaser released by TFou.[2]
- His villain form was later revealed on October 16, 2017 via an animated storyboard released by Thomas Astruc.[4]
- Frozer reappears in the two part special event "Heroes' Day".
- His daughters share their names with Candeloro's real life daughters.[5]
- Although having only one akumatized form throughout the series, Philippe comes in third place, alongside Juleka, Rose, Alya Roger, for being akumatized the most times behind Mr. Ramier and Chloé, having become Frozer 6 times. ("Frozer", "Mayura" and four other off-screen akumizations as seen in "Mr. Pigeon 72").
- However, unlike the others, Alya and Chloé haven't been re-akumatized into the same villain all the times.
