The Painting of Émilie Agreste is a stylized portrait of Émilie Agreste that her husband, Gabriel keeps in his atelier. The portrait is placed in front of a safe in which Gabriel keeps personal things such as a picture of Émilie, the Miraculous spellbook, the Peacock Miraculous, a paper note, and a guide about Tibet.
The portrait also hides a secret mechanism that allows access to his secret lair for when he is Monarch, formerly Hawk Moth and Shadow Moth, and to a crypt where Émilie Agreste is located and where Gabriel goes to get more butterflies for his akumatizations.
Appearance[]
The painting depicts Émilie as Gustav Klimt's Adele Bloch-Bauer. She wears a jeweled necklace and gold dress. The painting's background, Émilie's dress, and her jewelry are all painted with glittering gold and silver leaf on canvas. The portrait is longer than it is tall, unlike Klimt's which is square, and it is framed in matching gold.
