Mireille Caquet is a minor character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont and a former student of Olga Mendeleiev's class, before Mayor Bustier reformed the school, and she is the KIDZ+ weather forecaster after winning a competition. She is very popular, getting a lot more votes than the other final contestant, Aurore Beauréal.

Mireille is a fair-skinned slender teenage girl standing at a medium height with pale, light grayish scarlet lipstick, chin-length black hair with dark blue reflections in a face-framing bob with straight cut bangs slightly divided into three sections and upturned, almond-shaped dark tangelo eyes.

Mireille is shy and kind. She is happy to win the KIDZ+ competition, and according to Manon, she is way better than Aurore. She is also forgiving as seen by becoming friends with Aurore despite being frozen by her as Stormy Weather.

Etymology

• The name "Mireille" most likely means "to admire". The French word "caquet" means "cackle" or "chatter", as in hens or gossip. Thus, Mireille's name points toward how she speaks admiringly of others.
  • Interestingly, in the Brazilian Portuguese dub, her name and surname are changed to Mirella Tagarela.
• In the Irish dub, her name is changed to Máirín.

Trivia

• In "Dark Cupid", Mireille appears crying over Adrien's poster when Chloé is showing it off, suggesting that she is also a fan of him.
• In "Pixelator", the titular akumatized villain traps Mireille in a photo with Théo Barbot.
