Miraculous Life is a mobile sandbox game based on the Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, developed by ZAG Games and Budge Studios.[1]
The game was soft-launched in Canada on December 6, 2022, on iOS and two days later on Android. Its official release was on January 9, 2023, in the USA and the United Kingdom[2] and worldwide on February 23, 2023.[3]

Gameplay[]
The game consists of completing small tasks around Paris as a superhero or civilian to earn Ladybug Coins. Found a certain number of coins and a gift box would appear, which can be unlocked to earn various items of clothing. The game has a subscription model that unlocks additional content such as special clothes, characters, or locations.
In Clothing Designer, you can design your own clothes and in Grand Palais, there is an option to take pictures.

Trivia[]
- The game was first mentioned in August 2022 in ZAG's partnership plan.
- Alya/Rena Rouge is added to the game on April 14, 2023.[4]
- This game doesn't contain heavy lore or an original story since it's targeting a younger audience. It only lets players roam around Paris to do good deeds for fellow citizens and fight any akumatized villains they encounter. The enemies never get deakumatized by Ladybug nor are the major threats to the three heroes; instead, the akumatized villains are treated more as nuisances.
- Due to a lack of connection to the lore of the Quantic Universe, this game isn't considered canon to the franchise.
- Players can collect Ladybug coins to unlock outfits and accessories for the characters. While there are recolor variants, these outfits and accessories belong to another character that Marinette, Adrien, or Alya can wear:
- Shirts and jackets: Zoé's outfit, Marinette's outfit, Adrien's outfit, Alya's outfit, Chloé's outfit, a Gabriel butterfly hoodie, a hoodie with a Gabriel logo, Juleka's outfit, a white variant of Juleka's outfit, Adrien's formal modeling outfit, Marinette's jogging hoodie.
- Dresses: Aurore Beauréal's dress, Clara Nightingale's outfit, and Marinette's knitting fairy costume from "Wishmaker".
- Pants: Marinette's pink jeans, Alya's blue jeans, Nathaniel's purple jeans, Adrien's blue jeans, Chloé's white jeans, Zoé's yellow jeans, and Juleka's purple pants.
- Shoes: Marinette's ballet flats, Rose's shoes, Adrien's sneakers, Alya's shoes, Nino's shoes, and Zoé's shoes.
- Accessories: Nino's cap, Alix's cap, Chloé's sunglasses, Alya's eyeglasses, Nino's headphones, Zoé's beanie hat, and a red beret from "Reflekdoll", Jagged Stone's sunglasses.
- One of the outfits players that Juleka can wear is a white version of her regular blouse. This is likely a nod to an animation error that sometimes occurred in early Season 1 episodes where Juleka's blouse is miscolored white.
- A computer is a decoration for both Marinette's room and the classroom. It features screenshots from both "Miraculous on Instagram" and episodes of the TV series. One of the images on the computer featured Cat Noir and Marinette, which is an edited screenshot of Alya taking a selfie with Marinette in "Lady Wifi".
- A Les aventures de Ladybug & Chat Noir DVD box, an XY Number One album, and Marinette's magic box are decorations for both Marinette's room and the classroom.
- One of the objects that the characters must find for a civilian is a light-blue recolor variant of Marinette's backpack.
- Ironically, one of the outfits Marinette can wear is a Ladybug pattern shirt and pants.
- As revealed by the narrator after a player defeats Prime Queen, Shadow Moth is the one who akumatized Horrificator, Prime Queen, and Style Queen in this game.
- Since Horrificator, Prime Queen, and Style Queen are all akumatized together in this game, it can be interpreted that they were all holding a single object when Shadow Moth sent an akuma after them.
- On April 5, 2023, Jacob Binkowski, a senior 3D artist at Budge Studios, revealed on his ArtStation that a model of Anansi was created for the game. However, it's unknown if she would appear in a future update or not.[5]
- As of 2024, there are three holiday updates for this game. The holiday updates give the characters exclusive limited edition outfits after collecting specific objects scattered around Paris.
- For the October 2023 update, players must collect pumpkins to unlock a Halloween skeleton-themed outfit set; a black top hat with a skull decal, a black long-sleeved top, and pants with printed designs of a skeletal system. The gift boxes that players must unwrapped to get their exclusive outfits are purple with silhouettes of pumpkins appearing when they are opened.
- For the December 2023 update, players must collect candy canes to unlock a Christmas elf-themed outfit set. The gift boxes that players must unwrapped to get their exclusive outfits are red with silhouettes of candy canes appearing when they are opened.
- For the March 2024 update, players must collect easter eggs to unlock an Easter Bunny-themed outfit set; a bunny-eared headband, a white shirt with a bunny design, and a pair of pants with easter egg designs. The gift boxes that players must unwrapped to get their exclusive outfits are yellow with silhouettes of easter eggs appearing when they are opened.
Errors[]
- Some elements in the game break the unspoken rules of the Miraculous Ladybug franchise.
- The three playable characters can switch from civilian and superhero identities right in front of people, but the non-playable characters won't notice or react to it. This can especially occur to any of the three playable characters standing next to each other since they are not supposed to know each other's identities.
- Chloé and Marinette are supposed to be rivals, yet players can invite Chloé to hang out in Marinette's room and the narrator describes them as "friends".
- Despite akumatized villains being major threats in Paris, Ladybug never deakumatized them in the game.
- In this game, Marinette's bed is placed on the floor instead of a loft.
- Instead of using Mirage, Rena Rouge can use her flute to create a ball of light to attack enemies.
- The animation for Rena Rouge spinning her flute to defend herself from enemies is reused from Ladybug's yo-yo attack.
- Whenever a hero fights an akumatized villain, the non-playable characters would disappear during the entirety of the battle mini-game.
- Despite the game offering holiday updates, the weather in Paris doesn't change to match the theme of the holiday. For example, the December 2023 update didn't feature snow.
