Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, administrators and moderators can access a few additional functions.
As a good sized wiki with a large community and a sizable amount of articles, it is only reasonable that the Miraculous Ladybug Wiki would have an administration. Like all administration, it consists of devoted members who have proven themselves to be of high quality and devotion to the site.
Abilities

Staff
Fandom staff members have full access to all wikis. They will be shown in Special:Listusers/staff on any wiki. Please use Special:Contact to contact Fandom staff.
Community Manager
Community Managers (formerly known as Wiki Representatives) are full-time Fandom staff members assigned to specific wikis. They are here to support your wiki's community and help it grow and thrive, and to serve as a liaison with a direct line of contact to the rest of Fandom staff.
SOAP
Also known as Spam Obliteration and Prevention is a group of Fandom users who have volunteered to help keep Fandom vandal and spam free. To do this they have been given additional user rights that allow them to detect and delete as well as blocking the users creating it.
Bureaucrat abilities
- Managing user rights such as promoting and demoting other users into bureaucrats, administrators, content moderators, and rollback on their own wiki. Note that bureaucrats can only be demoted by the Fandom staff or by one's self.
Administrator abilities
- Promoting and demoting other users into discussions moderator, rollback, image control, and interactive map testers on their own wiki.
- Blocking IP addresses or user names from editing
- Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins; editing in the MediaWiki namespace.
- Managing the wiki discord server
- And every other ability from Content, and Discussions moderators.
Content moderator abilities
- Deleting and undeleting pages, page histories, and uploaded files; viewing deleted pages, page histories, and deleted files.
- Locking (protecting) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by users without admin rights or autoconfirmed status.
- Editing these fully protected pages
- Access to the "rollback" tool to quickly undo undesirable edits not made in good faith.
- Moderating comments
- Deleting blog comments
- Deleting article comments
- Editing, deleting, and locking message wall messages
Discussions moderator abilities
- Moderating the Discussions.
- Removing and restoring threads and replies from any user
- Closing and reopening (locking) threads
- Manage Forum boards, move threads from one board to another, and highlight and un-highlight threads.
- Moderating comments
- Deleting blog comments
- Editing and deleting article comments; disabling commenting on articles
- Editing, deleting, and locking message wall messages
Discord moderator abilities
- Kick or ban Discord users from the wiki Discord server.
- Delete messages sent in Discord.
Reddit moderator abilities
- Moderate the r/miraculousladybug subreddit.
Image control abilities
- Renaming and deleting images.
- Editing comments and blogs.
Rollback abilities
- Access to the "rollback" tool to quickly undo undesirable edits not made in good faith.
Bot functionality
These are situations a bot is typically used to:
- Make automated and or tedious edits.
- Make clean-up edits that could be considered "fluff editing" when done by a normal user.
The bot user group doesn't give any special abilities by itself apart from having edits marked as "made by a bot"

Contact for issues
If you see a user violating rules, being purposefully disruptive or difficult, DO NOT ENGAGE. Engaging with their posts, or comments under another post (liking any comments, commenting to knock it off, etc.) is going to bump that post up in the "Hot" post feed, and give the problematic user more attention. This is the opposite of what we want.
Instead:
- Ignore the post/comment and report it.
- Leave a message on an Admin or Moderator's message wall about the issue, and link the post or user that is disruptive.
- If needed, tag an Admin or Moderator in the comments so they can take action.
Here is a list of staff members who can respond as fast as possible, and the degree of severity they can handle (NSFW or SFW). Remember, some of our volunteer moderators and admins are minors, so we want to limit the amount of exposure they get to unsafe/NSFW content if possible.
