The Message Transmission is an additional superpower of the Butterfly Miraculous that involves the manipulation of akumas. It was previously used by Hawk Moth/Monarch to retrieve a message to Ladybug, Cat Noir, and all Parisians.
Mask Appearance[]
With the Butterfly Miraculous[]
The message transmitter creates a transmission that resembled the caster's face, Hawk Moth, out of a bunch of huddled together akumas.
Fused with the Fox & Turtle Miraculous[]
When it was powered by the Butterfly Miraculous combined with the Fox and Turtle Miraculouses, it was the same as the former but with an illusion of the Miraculous symbols surrounding the akuma mask, altogether being protected by Shell-ter.
Nature[]
The message transmitter works by using the Butterfly Miraculous to create a swarm of akumas that takes the shape and design of the holder's desire. Whatever the Butterfly Miraculous holder plans to say at the moment of the summoning will be implemented onto the message.
When Hawk Moth used this ability in conjunction with the Fox and Turtle Miraculouses, he casted Mirage to create the symbols of the Chinese Zodiac Miraculous in his possession, and Shell-ter to prevent the akumas from being captured and purified by the yo-yo as well as preventing the illusions from being dispelled when touched.

- The message transmitter appeared in the second parts of a two two-parter specials, the first being in the "Origins" special of Season 1 and the other being in "Shadow Moth's Final Attack" of Season 4.
- Initially, the akumas used for this power were coughed out of an akumatized villain's mouth. The second time the ability was seen, the akumas appeared in specific place without originating from an akumatized villain.
