Mayotte[1] is one of the minor characters in Miraculous World: Tokyo - Stellar Force and the animated spin-off series Miraculous Stellar Force. She is a student at Kano Academy, a superheroine, and member of the Stellar Force. She is the current bearer of the Sagittarius Fragment, which allows her to become Sagittarius and one of the guardians who possess a fragment of the Stellar Matrix.

Physical Appearance[]
Mayotte is a teenage girl of short height and slender build. She has dark rosy skin, round gold eyes with two wings on each side, and dark grayish-indigo hair with bangs parted at left, styled in an afro. She has pastel pink lips. Her eyebrows are thick.
Civilian Attire[]
Mayotte wears a sleeveless blue jumper with a folded collar, gold trim, big zipper, zipline, and baggy legs with the cuffs rolled up to the the ankle. Her boots are navy and her arm warmers are pastel blue. Her glasses are blue and her hooped earrings are gold.
As Sagittarius[]
Sagittarius wears a jumpsuit shared with her teammates: a black jumpsuit with rectangular-detailed white elbow trim, abdomen, thigh trim, and shins. On her chest is a black four-point star. Her lower arms (except her fingers), torso, shoulders, inner thighs, sides of her knees, and feet are all blue with black fingers and rectangular soles. Her helmet is black with a blue chin, silver components covering her ears, followed by blue angular rectangles on top with black tips, and a model made of blue dreads atop her head resembling her afro. On her left wrist is her blue and black watch, the Sagittarius Sprite.

Mayotte is easily excitable, evident as she met Ladybug for the first time, being a big fan of the heroine. She also talkative, full of questions, and informative, as she was able to identify Kagami was a fencer from just her sabre. She is also honest, intellectual, and respectful of different cultures.

As a result of attending Kano Academy, Mayotte is an expert in an unknown sport.
As Sagittarius[]
Sagittarius has enhanced physical abilities, such as speed, combat, and agility. With the help of the Sagittarius Sprite, she can summon her weapon, which is her Sagittarius Armor.

Etymology[]
- The name Mayotte comes from a small island in Africa, from the north of Madagascar. According to island locals, it is called Mahore. The name means "the island of death" in Arabic because it's surrounded by dangerous coral reefs.
- From French terms, it's also an alternate to the name Maillot or Mailhot meaning "big mallet".
- Sagittarius, Mayotte's hero name, is based on Sagittarius zodiac sign and constellation, the ninth zodiac sign. [2]
Trivia[]
- Mayotte is somehow inspired by Tenma Kudo/Sazer Tarious from Chouseishin Gransazer, whereas both represent the Sagittarius constellation.
- Mayotte has several traits associated with the Sagittarius sign:
- Like other Sagittarians, Mayotte is intellectual, open-minded, and honest.[3]
- Mayotte's theme color is blue, which is a color the Sagittarius sign can represent.
- However, the Sagittarius sign's mostly associated with the color purple.
- Her name appears to have certain ties to death, fate, and danger itself.
- Since the Sagittarius constellation is depicted as an archer/centaur who never misses a target with his bow and arrow[2], this could possibly fit Mayotte's name and the zodiac she represents.
