Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a teenage girl who was chosen by Master Fu to wield the Ladybug Miraculous and become the superhero Ladybug. At first, she was reluctant to do the job, even going as far as to try to give her new friend, Alya, the miraculous, but she gradually grew into the role.
Before Season 1
Marinette attended Collège Françoise Dupont for three years previously and attended an unnamed elementary school a year before that, all while sharing the same class with Chloé Bourgeois.

In "Ladybug & Cat Noir", on Marinette's first day of school in her last year of middle school, she woke up late. Worried about Chloé being in her class again for the fourth year in a row, she didn't want to go to school. Her mother reassured her that no one can be that unlucky and she would be fine. Marinette then lost what luck she had, spilling her breakfast and making a mess in the kitchen. She then left for school, bringing with her a box of macarons. While waiting at the crosswalk outside, she saw a man crossing the street and pulled him to safety, losing some of her macarons and making her late to school in the process.
Unsurprisingly, she was in the same class as Chloé once more, immediately being bullied by her to move seats. Alya saw this and helped Marinette, pulling her to sit next to her in class. Before Marinette could make it to her new seat, she tripped, spilling all but one macaron and splits it with Alya, the two becoming friends.
After the first class, Marinette and Alya were in the library when they saw the rock monster Stoneheart shouting for Kim. Alya rushed off, leaving Marinette behind. Marinette returned to her home, finding a small box in front of her computer. When she opened it, a flash of light entered the room and she met Tikki, a talking kwami. Tikki convinced Marinette to put on the Ladybug Miraculous and to transform into a superhero. Afraid, Marinette didn't want to be a hero, but with no way to remove the costume, she left her room, swinging her yo-yo and flew across Paris.
Still learning how to control the yo-yo, Marinette landed on Cat Noir while falling out of the sky. She followed him to fight Stoneheart, still afraid and nervous. In the Parc des Princes, Marinette hesitated before joining the fight, but accepted her role as Ladybug and helped Cat Noir take down Stoneheart with her Lucky Charm wet suit and turned him back into Ivan. She returned to her room before she detransformed however, she forgot to capture the akuma. This failure on her end resulted in the akuma multiplying and infecting innocent Parisian citizens. Her confidence plummeted and she rejected the Ladybug Miraculous out of guilt. She took them off, hiding them in her vanity until she could give them away.

In "Stoneheart", the next day, Marinette watched the news report about the Stonehearts, with her confidence gone. She took the Ladybug Miraculous to school to give to Alya, believing that she would make a better hero. At the same time, she kept Ivan from being akumatized at first by helping him build his confidence toward Mylène Haprèle. Arriving to class, she saw Adrien poking at the gum on her seat and accused him of putting it there. She decided not to trust him, believing him to be the same as Chloé.
When Stoneheart busted down Miss Bustier's classroom's door and took Mylène and Chloé captive, Marinette tried giving Alya her bag with the Ladybug Miraculous so that she could run and hide, but Alya left it behind. Marinette chased after Alya and saw her nearly die when a car was thrown at her. With Cat Noir captured and Alya trapped, Marinette decided that she had to be Ladybug. She transformed, freed Alya, grabbed Cat Noir's staff, and went after him. Freeing Cat Noir, they went after the original Stoneheart who was on the Eiffel Tower.
Ladybug caught Chloé when she was thrown off the Tower then tried to stop the police from firing on Stoneheart, but Agent Roger reminded her that she failed, agreeing with him that it was her fault, but Cat Noir encouraged her to try again. When Hawk Moth told her to give up her Miraculous, she reminded him that he was the villain and that they would take him down and swung her yo-yo at his akuma-face and captured all of them. Then promised Paris that she and Cat Noir would keep them safe and ran up the side of the Eiffel Tower, deciding the only way to free Mylène was to bring her and Ivan closer together. She summoned her Lucky Charm and received a parachute. Using her yo-yo Ladybug made Mylène kiss Ivan, causing him to drop his akumatized object. She broke the object and changed Ivan back to normal. To save Mylène, she dove off the Tower, grabbed her, captured the akuma and set her on the ground with help from the parachute. Using Miraculous Ladybug, she freed the other Stonehearts and returned the city to normal.
The next day, she and Alya sat behind Nino and Adrien, until Chloé demanded her to move. After battling Stoneheart, Marinette gained the confidence to stand up to her until she moved. By the end of the day she ignored Adrien but accepted his apology for the gum incident after class. It was then that she fell in love with his kindness. Marinette finds herself stammering to say goodbye and Tikki playfully teases her about her crush. After that using the umbrella he gave her, she went home.
In "The Bubbler", Marinette woke up excited for Adrien's birthday. She brought a present to school for him, but couldn't give it to him. Instead, she and Alya dropped it off at Adrien's house and yet she forgot to sign the gift. Afterwards at lunch, Marinette's parents were captured in bubbles and sent skyward. She transformed into Ladybug and ran off to find Bubbler at the Agreste mansion. But used a Lucky Charm to break up the slow dance, because of it, she detransformed and had to find food for Tikki.
She snuck into the party and grabbed cookies, fully intent on transforming back, but was found by Alya, leading her to the present she left for Adrien. Marinette signed it and rushed to transform as soon as she was away from Alya then engaged Bubbler, giving the students time to scatter. Ladybug and Cat Noir fought against him, but they end up trapped in his bubble despite her defending the adults, the angry Bubbler sent them skywards. After being freed by Cat Noir's Cataclysm she brought them down to safety. They returned to the Agreste mansion, but it was too late; the students were sent skyward.
Ladybug and Cat Noir chased Bubbler up to the Eiffel Tower. After summoning her Lucky Charm receiving a wrench, she loosened an air vent, grabbed Bubbler's bubble wand and broke it. She captured the akuma and restored the city back to normal. The next day, Marinette saw Adrien wearing the scarf she made him but didn't correct him when he believed it to be from his father.
In "Mr. Pigeon", Marinette entered a fashion design competition to create a derby hat. With a confidence boost from Adrien she went to the Trocadéro for inspiration, gaining it from the pigeons there. She returned home to make the hat, but forgot the feather, forcing her to return to the Trocadéro. When she tried to go back home, the street was blocked by hundreds of pigeons. She transformed after she saw Mr. Pigeon and found Cat Noir. Using him as bait to get Mr. Pigeon's attention she saw her partner get carried away. Then followed them to the Le Grand Paris, but were trapped in a cage until Cat Noir freed them with Cataclysm.
Once inside the hotel Ladybug noticed pigeons flocking in the same direction to the Grand Palais where she and Cat Noir found the abducted park keepers trapped inside. She planned on Cat Noir grabbing the bird call, but his allergies kicked in, leading to them to a brawl against Mr. Pigeon and his pigeon fists. Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm using a coin she turned the pigeons against Mr. Pigeon. They smashed the bird call, she captured the akuma and the city returned to normal. With less than an hour left till the end of the competition, Marinette completed her derby hat and proved it to be her own design, beating Chloé and won the competition.
In "Stormy Weather", Marinette babysat Manon Chamack for Nadja Chamack. Alya convinced her to take Manon to the park so that she could watch Adrien's photoshoot. She tried to get Adrien's attention and somewhat succeeded but watched from the sidelines. Marinette bought Manon a balloon when she shouted at her interrupting the shoot. After Manon led her away to the carousel, Alya stepped in and made Marinette join Adrien's photoshoot. Before she could, Stormy Weather attacked and trapped Alya and Manon in ice. Marinette transformed into Ladybug regretting she shouldn't have left and tried to free them, but was unsuccessful. She ran off to find the villain, helped Cat Noir to his feet (after he was blown away and landed on his face); they fought against Stormy Weather but the duo was blown away twice and had a bus thrown at them.
When they freed themselves, they ran to the KIDZ+ studio and broke down the door, but she wasn't there; falling into a trap. Stormy Weather turned off the lights and ran to the rooftop due to the darkness she was led by Cat Noir to the rooftops. Once there, Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a bath towel while Cat Noir defended them from the falling hail. She had him take down a billboard with his Cataclysm. As apart of the chain reaction Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around Stormy Weather's ankle, preventing her from escaping. Then pulled her back to the ground and causing her to lose her umbrella. With a toss from Cat Noir she broke it, purified the akuma and returned the city to normal. Marinette returned to the park, intent on joining the photoshoot, but the photographer liked Manon better.

In "Timebreaker", Marinette helped her parents prepare for their 20th wedding anniversary. She was left in charge of the bakery but went to the Trocadéro to watch Alix's and Kim's race. Alya gave her Alix's watch to hold on to, but since she was holding the banner, she wasn't paying enough attention and dropped it. Until Adrien caught the watch, but Chloé took it from him and dropped it, leading to it rolling onto the track, breaking, and Alix's akumatization. Marinette tried calming Alix down but she was stopped when her father called, wondering where she was.
She transformed into Ladybug and tried stopping Timebreaker, but the villain almost made her disappear forever until Cat Noir stepped in and protected her, taking the hit. When Timebreaker went to the past, she followed but startled Past Chloé causing her to drop the watch and was blamed by Past Alix for it. Future Ladybug explained to Past Marinette what was going on and sent Past Marinette on her way back to the bakery to give Nadja Chamack her cake.
Past Marinette transformed into Ladybug and joined the fight with her future self and Cat Noir. The Ladybugs summoned their Lucky Charms and came up with a plan to stop the Timebreakers while Cat Noir distracted them by using Cataclysm. Future Ladybug wrapped the Timebreakers' ankles together while Past Ladybug created a ramp that flung them in the air. The Ladybugs broke the rollerskates, releasing the akumas, cleanse the city, merging the two Ladybugs and Timebreakers. Marinette returned to the bakery and welcomed her parents home.

In "Copycat", Marinette brainstormed ideas with Tikki on how to ask out Adrien, but she couldn't speak with him without stuttering. Tikki suggested calling him; she called Alya over to her house to help her. Alya gave her a script to read and then called Adrien's phone. She improvised the message on Adrien's voicemail and then threw the phone on her chaise, not realizing she didn't hang up. She tried deleting the message but failed. Realizing he was still in fencing practice, Marinette went over to the school and stole his phone. Tikki discouraged this since she felt that Marinette should've gone to the statue ceremony first. They missed the whole ceremony and went to Marinette's room, trying to break into Adrien's phone.
Alya called her, asking for an update on the message and letting her know that Cat Noir stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. Marinette transformed into Ladybug and hurried to the Louvre, but was stopped by police. From Cat Noir she discovers that the other Cat Noir was an impostor and tracked him to Théo's studio. She saw through Copycat's ruse and freed Cat Noir with Copycat's Cataclysm. Using a spoon, she and Cat Noir defeated Copycat and returned the city (and the Mona Lisa) to normal. Later that evening, Alya came over and helped her delete the message on Adrien's phone. The next day, she returned the phone, Nino invited Adrien to go see a movie later that night and Alya invited herself and Marinette along.

In "The Pharaoh", the previous week, Ladybug was hanging from a helicopter and dropped a Histoire textbook which was Marinette's own textbook. In order to get it back, she and Tikki convinced Alya to go to the Louvre and look at the King Tut exhibit under the guise that there was something about Ladybug there. Marinette tried convincing Alya that she wasn't Ladybug, but Alya wouldn't believe her until she brought her textbook with her to class. When they got to the King Tut exhibit, Jalil Kubdel bumped into them who was in a hurry to present his findings to his father. Tikki pointed Marinette to an ancient papyrus to distract Alya. In fact, the papyrus was a scroll depicting a ritual to bring the dead back to life.
Marinette was having difficulty distracting Alya when the Pharaoh suddenly appeared. She escaped the Pharaoh's time-shifting bubbles, transformed into Ladybug and went to fight him but was immediately thrown to the side. Despite the cat's help, he was thrown into a sarcophagus until she freed him, but they were still trapped in the exhibit. Until he used his Cataclysm, but they had to part ways so he could charge up again. Watching Alya's livestream, she left to help her but ran into a time-shifting bubble but was freed by Cat Noir and went to save Alya from being sacrificed while he distracted the mummies. She freed her, but that didn't last long since the Pharaoh could fly then she was taken and put onto the beam of light up into the sky. After saving Cat Noir from the mummies, Ladybug sacrificed herself to keep Alya safe. Then, threw a fake pair of earrings at the Pharaoh and stole his necklace. After, Ladybug caught the akuma and returned the Louvre to normal. She went back inside the museum, took her textbook away from Alya, and told her where she was, saying she was turned into a mummy.
Back in her room, Marinette asked Tikki about the Ancient Egyptian Ladybug. Where Tikki explained that kwamis and superheroes have always existed and that she has watched over every Ladybug. She then reassured Marinette, she was an excellent Ladybug. Marinette went to sleep, prepared for her history test the next day.

In "Lady Wifi", Marinette and Tikki transformed into Ladybug and missed half of her classes due to an akuma attack. Afterwards they went home where Marinette spent the rest of the night working on her homework. When she received a note from Alya about Ladybug's identity she wanted to speak with her, but never got the chance because the WiFi was out in the neighborhood. The next day, Marinette was an hour late to school because she fell asleep doing her homework. Upon arriving, she found out Alya was suspended for a week because believed she thought that Chloé was Ladybug. Her outbursts made Miss Bustier to send her to Mr. Damocles but when she got to his office, she found him frozen from Lady Wifi's powers. Determined to save her best friend, Marinette transformed into Ladybug and went to Le Grand Paris to stakeout Chloé's home waiting for Lady Wifi with Cat Noir.
When Lady Wifi appeared, they entered Chloé's room after Chloé was freed, the duo led Lady Wifi down to the basement to trap her. However, she caught on to their plan and set up a trap of her own in Le Grand Paris' restaurant. With Ladybug separated from Cat Noir; Lady Wifi caught her and tried taking off Ladybug's mask, it wouldn't budge. The hero tried to come to her rescue, but ended up trapped in the freezer by the villainess and she was released by Lady Wifi to free Cat Noir, but the event was broadcasted to the entire city. Ladybug used her Lucky Charm to set him free, came up with a plan to defeat Lady Wifi, and then waited, hoping Cat Noir would be fast enough to stop her before she detransformed. When he destroyed the WiFi antenna, she rushed to the roof to help, defeated Lady Wifi and returned the city to normal. With only a minute left, Ladybug ran downstairs and detransformed in a closet. In her heart, she wanted to tell Cat Noir her identity, but in her mind, she knew it wasn't the right choice. The next day, Alya came over to Marinette's house to show her her new phone and some pictures of Adrien. Marinette teased her about Adrien's pictures and the two girls chased each other around Marinette's balcony.

In "The Evillustrator", Marinette found out about Nathaniel's crush on her when Nathaniel was embarrassed by Chloé. Marinette was partnered with Chloé and Sabrina for their particle physics project. They first met up by Chloé's locker. There, Marinette told Chloé and Sabrina that the relationship they had wasn't friendship and that the project was a group project, meaning Chloé had to put in an equal share of the work. They went to the library to work on the project, but that only led to Chloé bribing Sabrina with a beret. Before Sabrina could accept the bribe, Chloé was attacked by several berets and a hairdryer. Marinette ran away from the crowd and transformed into Ladybug with Cat Noir's help, the hairdryer was destroyed and the duo tried going after the villain, but he got away. So they went to the Le Grand Paris to investigate why the Evillustrator was after Chloé.
Annoyed with Chloé's delusions and her defacing Nathaniel's drawing, she left in an angry huff, leaving Cat Noir to guard her back at her house, Marinette detransformed. Tikki calmed her down and accidentally reminded her about the physics project and Sabrina. She was about to call her and started to get to work on the project until the Evillustrator entered her room. Instead of attacking her, he invited her to his birthday party on La Seine. That's when she figured out the Evillustrator was Nathaniel and accepted his invitation afterwards she was leaving her house when Sabrina arrived. When she completed Marinette's geography homework in a show of friendship, much to her surprise. She begrudgingly accepted, but told her that she couldn't work on the project that night, Sabrina became mad and compared her to Chloé. Then, Cat Noir arrived, introducing himself to her and told her to not worry about her date that night; all she had to do was take the Evillustrator's stylus. She managed to get the stylus away from the Evillustrator, but he got it back, then trapped her and Cat Noir in a cube on the sinking boat and left to attack Chloé.
Marinette helped Cat Noir free themselves, once she was set down safely on the streets by La Seine she transformed into Ladybug again and went back to Le Grand Paris to protect Chloé. With Cat Noir's help and her Lucky Charm a bouncy ball, they defeated the Evillustrator. The next day, she was asked by Adrien of what she thought of Cat Noir and being protected by him. She stumbled over her words, but she called Adrien, "awesome," several times. But was chastised by Tikki, telling her she needed better control over her emotions.

In "Rogercop", Marinette attended Career Day at school with her father Tom and everything went well until Chloé accused her of stealing her bracelet. In an effort to prove her innocence Marinette accidentally accuses everyone else. Until, Rogercop came in the classroom demanding to know where the mayor was; she quickly leaves. Before they transformed, knowing that she nor anyone else stole Chloé's bracelet Tikki assured her that she'll find a way to make things right.
Upon confronting Rogercop, Ladybug tried to remind him of the true purpose of being an officer but was sent flying. Then, met up with Cat Noir on top of Rogercop's car they tried to confront him but she got knocked off and continues to fall. But safely lands on the ground, caught Cat Noir with her yo-yo and they followed Rogercop to City Hall. Soon Rogercop had the police turn against them but the duo managed to escape as apart of the plan Ladybug snuck inside to deal with Rogercop and was soon joined by Cat Noir using Chloé's bracelet and oven mitts they defeated Rogercop and return everything to normal. Ladybug puts Chloé's bracelet in her bag and convinced the mayor to give Roger's job back. She leaves as the transformation is about to wear off but learned a valuable lesson and returned home.

In "Dark Cupid", after Marinette finished class she and Tikki found a love poem written by Adrien. Upon reading it, being assured by Tikki; she discovered that the letter was for her which left her jumping for joy. Sometime later, she went home to write her own love poem but had no luck, until Alya informs her about the Ladyblog and that ladybugs were a sign of good luck. Once Marinette was done she was hesitant to mail it but finally does, after that she gets an embarrassing photo of her classmate Kim feeling bad for him. Then began to fear that Adrien will do the same thing to her and desperately tried to get it back. Afterwards, she notices that Kim had been akumatized into Dark Cupid and transformed into Ladybug. She quickly finds Dark Cupid and tried to dissuade the villain from his quest of hate; the two get into a fight but she managed to hide.
Until she met up with Cat Noir who tried in vain to confess his love for her but got hit by Dark Cupid's arrows. Understanding that Dark Cupid is going after Chloé; Ladybug raced to get to her first. She tried to follow them but was cornered by the cat. While trying to avoid him she realizes that love can save him and tried to kiss Cat Noir which caused him to run in fear. Once she manages to catch and tie him down to try again not looking forward to it either but he got away again. With a candy apple and freeing Cat Noir from the spell they were able to defeat Dark Cupid; she tried to tell him what happened but they were about to transformation and she leaves. Marinette returns to the mailbox but with everything that happened she lets the letter get delivered to Adrien. But back at home Marinette wasn't completely sure if she signed the card or not stating that everything was a blur.

In "Horrificator", as everyone was working on a monster movie Marinette had the job of producer but when Mylene got scared and leaves. She offers to find her but upon needing another actor Chloé volunteers leaving Marinette horrified and left to find her friend, she looks for Mylene in the bathroom but finds slime instead. However, the investigation was put on hold when Alya calls her and says that the kissing scene is about to start and stops the movie, using Chloé's desire to change the script as a diversion Marinette takes the acting role of Agent Smith. Chloé caught onto her trick until they heard scream from outside only to find more slime along with Kim and Mr. Damocles missing understanding that there's an akumatized villain she drops her phone and transforms into Ladybug. Quickly meeting the students she tries to have them evacuate but that was easier said than done since the school was closed off. With Cat Noir and the students the duo went in search of their missing friends during their fight against Horrificator they discover that the monster fed off fear and due to it's attraction to Ivan she discovers that it was Mylene.
Ladybug and Cat Noir followed Horrificator to the maintenance room and found the missing students but can't set them free. With exit closed off, they try to fight the monster off but was too strong, summoning her Lucky Charm she received a pair of guitar strings, trapping Horrificator with Cat Noir's Cataclysm and everyone playing along using Mylene's favorite song they calmed her down. With the akuma purified and returned everything to normal but their movie didn't make the cut because of the monster not being realistic.

In "Darkblade", after dealing with an akuma attack Marinette ran home and detransformed to work on her magic box. Curious, Tikki asks what it's for, she said it's for her diary then Tikki becomes worried about her secrets being exposed but Marinette assured her that won't happen after a test the box works. Then, she watched from the news that Chloé's father got reelected as mayor. Which reminds her that class representative elections are happening at school, Marinette was convinced by Tikki to run but with her other responsibilities she didn't think it would work out. Noticing the time she rushed off to school and apologized for being late. Later in the courtyard Marinette saw that no one else will run because of Chloé's threats and decides to run herself.
But she didn't think of a campaign despite Marinette's friends giving her ideas and having Adrien's support. she made her way home but still has trouble making her campaign until she gets a call from Alya saying Chloé brought Jagged Stone to City Hall and rushed over. Once there Marinette saw that Chloé was using Jagged to bribe everyone into voting for her as Marinette tried to dissuade them she gets pulled away by Chloé. Who blackmails her into dropping out by reading her diary. Soon Darkblade and his knights attack, from a window Marinette saw Cat Noir fighting the knights and having trouble. She confides in Tikki that everyone needs her help but was advised by Tikki to trust her instincts once her friends were safe she quickly transformed into Ladybug and saved Cat Noir.
They did their best to defend City Hall to discover that the knights are after the flag, despite that Darkblade's victory was almost complete but thanks to a windup toy, he lost his sword and Ladybug captured the akuma returning everything to normal. Marinette went back inside detransforms, was praised by Tikki for doing a good job and reunites with everyone saying she got turned into a knight. With the incident over she demanded her diary back leaving everyone surprised and freed Sabrina's hand. However, she wished to be elected by fair means and the next day Marinette gets elected as class representative with Alya as her deputy.
In "The Mime", after another akuma attack Ladybug rushed home, detransforms and was praised by Tikki for what she did for Alya. Then, she soon heard Alya arrived, explaining what happened and leaves her phone with Marinette. Tikki pops out asking to see the video but she accidentally deletes it. Afterwards she panics and thinks Alya will be mad, but devised a plan to fix it but resulted in her stealing Alya's phone and Tikki advised her to come clean now before transforming into Ladybug.
While trying to redo the video Ladybug saw a police car flying and caught it with her yo-yo then discovered that The Mime was Mylene's father. She offered to talk with him but was soon under fire and quickly protects herself until she came across Adrien's car telling everyone to get to safety. But got caught until a quick assist from Cat Noir however The Mime puts them in a cage but after he gets away the bars disappear. They followed him to discover that he's after the theater troupe bus while Cat Noir worked as a distraction Ladybug got everyone to safety. Seeing Cat Noir in trouble she rushed to his aid using a shoe box and The Mime's powers against him, she caught the akuma and cleansed the city. Once she retrieves Alya's phone she heads to the Tower and watched the performance then after the show Marinette explained what happened but Alya wasn't mad and said she had a surprise for her. Marinette quickly transformed into Ladybug giving Alya a quick interview and detransforms, then playfully teases her best friend about wanting to see the video.
In "Princess Fragrance", after dealing with the Magician of Misfortune Marinette discovered that Tikki had a cold. The kwami spoke of a healer but she was hesitant to go because of Tikki's existence and was already late for school but agreed on taking her after school. Afterwards, she heads off to the healer but was pushed by Alya to talk to Adrien and trips over a backpack until Adrien caught her but she realized Tikki was missing and ended up with Chloé. She wanted Chloé to give Tikki back but she refused leaving Marinette concerned for her, then went to the Le Grand Paris but was denied entry until she disguised herself as a pizza delivery person. She snuck into the hotel to find Tikki but when Princess Fragrance attacked Prince Ali using a confetti blaster as a distraction she escaped
Looking through the Paris streets Marinette found Prince Ali's car with Tikki inside relieved that she was okay. Not making the same mistake twice she rushed Tikki to the healer (who is Master Wang Fu) with Princess Fragrance on the loose she was impatient and yet relieved that Tikki was well again. Outside Marinette explained to her that she was more than just her kwami but a friend before transforming. She went to the Pont des Arts to find everyone including Cat Noir under the villain's control by using a close pin she wasn't affected by the perfume. When Princess Fragrance unleashed a huge perfume cloud above the city, remembering what Ladybug learned in Chemistry Class and with a little help from Cat Noir the cloud disappears. Then, left for the Grand Le Paris with a balloon she stopped Princess Fragrance, cleansed the city and left Rose with Prince Ali.

In "Animan", Marinette was reading a modeling magazine with Alya until they were approached by Nino and Adrien; she was hesitantly asked by Nino if she would like to go to the zoo with him but being awestrucked with Adrien she agreed. She was snapped back to reality by Alya but, freaked out over what happened and begged her for help. Once at the zoo Marinette tried to psych herself up but when it came down to it she accidentally sets Nino on a date with Alya. When the animals led by Animan cause a stampede Marinette hid and was asked by Tikki why she didn't listen to Alya and after Marinette explains Tikki says we'll deal with it later and transforms into Ladybug. Meeting up with Cat Noir, Ladybug rushes to Kim's defense and restrains Animan but before they could get the charm the duo had to retreat because of Animan's army.
Before rejoining her partner Ladybug carried Alya and Nino to safety seeing that they can't put the animals in their cages the duo moved back to Plan A but discovered that Animan had escaped. Knowing who Animan was after she and Cat Noir spotted Kim on the bridge and the heroine restrained him for a second time but got away again. Following the tracer they tracked Kim to Marinette's parent's bakery once there Ladybug stuttered and almost revealed herself to her parents. Seeing the animals rampaging the heroes thought of their next move using Kim's wristband and air freshener to cover their scent Animan was lured inside where they caught him until he transformed into a panther causing them to run using a nearby bus they noticed that each transformation tired Animan out.
They decided to wait which worked until Animan transformed into a T-Rex, summoning her Lucky Charm Ladybug received a carjack. With Cat Noir as the distraction she easily floored the dinosaur but was unsure why they didn't need the item but after saving Cat Noir with the carjack she leaped into the creature's mouth and pried it open with the item. Finally, she purified the akuma, returned the animals to zoo and was embraced by Cat Noir. Returning home Marinette was exhausted and realized she forgot about Alya and went outside to apologize but found her with Nino who explained everything. She began to wonder what happened by between them while they were in that cage.

In "Simon Says", Marinette was grounded by her parents for not being in class on time. Then, went up to her room to console with Tikki who deemed Marinette's situation as unfair but understood. But she not only became bummed about missing Nino's performance and missing Adrien, soon she saw the show being attacked by Simon Says. Having no choice she and Tikki used the pillows and sheets to appear that Marinette was asleep with that they transform and left for the tv studio.
Once there the heroine quickly found Nino, then went searching for Adrien but came across Cat Noir who informed them that Simon Says was looking for Gabriel Agreste after finding Adrien they went to the Agreste mansion. As Ladybug was waited for Cat Noir, she was talking with Gabriel about Adrien which caused her to stutter until she got a call from her partner saying Simon's army was closing in. Looking for Adrien she's informed that he's in the shower and told Nino they have to leave. While waiting she saw a picture of a woman and Adrien told her it's his mother both commenting they had the same eyes but Simon's army breaks in; she puts him in the bathroom. Following the army back to the studio, along with Cat Noir they confronted Simon Says using her Lucky Charm Ladybug receives a regular yo-yo while her partner distracted him Ladybug attempted to find the akuma.
But in the process her first yo-yo got disabled however, thanks to her second yo-yo they were able to capture the akuma and save Gabriel Agreste. The next day, Marinette was no longer grounded and stayed home to watch the Challenge with her parents but upon hearing Nino's request to have Ladybug and Cat Noir appear, she quickly went upstairs, transforms and heads to the studio.

In "Pixelator", during job experience day at the Le Grand Paris Hotel Marinette was assigned the task of gopher and her first job was finding a special pair of glasses for Jagged Stone. Wanting to spend as much time as possible with Adrien, she simply bought a pair of glasses at the Eiffel Tower but Tikki called her out for taking a shortcut and advised her to do it right the first time. Back the hotel Marinette's first pair of glasses got rejected seeing that Tikki was right, and having an idea she ran home deciding to make the pair of glasses Jagged Stone wants.
When the glasses are finished she heads back to the hotel but saw no one there and delivers the glasses. But soon, she saw Pixelator and quickly transformed into Ladybug saving Jagged but not before her hand gets pixelated. Hiding the rock star at the school, she looks up more information about Vincent and heads towards his camera studio and sees a handful people trapped in Pixelator's photos. Quickly finding Pixelator, she proposes a deal if him releases the people he's caught she'll bring Jagged when Pixelator frees half of his prisoners including Cat Noir. She directed her partner to Pixelator's akuma but he gets pixelated again along with her leg making it difficult to fight. Using a compact mirror and with an assist from Cat Noir, she freed the trapped people, healed herself and captured the akuma. As a reward, Marinette and her classmates attended a concert performed by Jagged Stone happy that he's dedicating his first song to her alter ego.

In "Guitar Villain", Marinette was assigned the task of designing Jagged Stone's new album cover but due to the musician's manager she was stuck designing a cover and developed a distaste for XY's music. Knowing that Jagged's style was different that's when Tikki advised Marinette to follow her instincts and starts to complain about being under pressure. That's when Tikki reminded her that they work under pressure on a daily basis saving the world and got back to designing however, after Marinette showed Jagged the cover she explained that it was his manager's idea. But was told by Jagged to follow her own style and gets further encouragement from Adrien who liked Jagged Stone; this time Marinette decides to follow Tikki's advice. Soon Adrien's bodyguard, eyed her to talking to Tikki and she tried to pass her bag off as a talking bag from Japan.
But designing the new cover was put on hold when Jagged Stone was akumatized into Guitar Villain. After transforming into Ladybug and meeting up with Cat Noir they discovered that the villain was after XY and went to the television studio. However, it was too late and Guitar Villain kidnapped the musician heading for the Eiffel Tower, once there they tried to save XY as the duo climbed up the tower but was stopped by Fang. After using her yo-yo as a pair of reins Ladybug temporarily rode him, rescued Cat Noir and by using a can of hair fixing spray the heroes were able to stop Guitar Villain's concert and save XY. Afterwards, Marinette returned home and finished Jagged Stone's album one that she and the rock star approved of.
The next day while Marinette was at school she was approached by Adrien who nervously asked her if he could have an autograph. She signed the cover and Adrien expressed his thanks; once he was gone she started to swoon over the fact that she had the best day ever.

In "Kung Food", Marinette attempted to learn Chinese so she could speak with her great uncle who's coming to Paris for a cooking contest at the Le Grand Paris. Then, when he arrived she tried giving her uncle the flowers she had for him but when things don't go well she called Alya having an idea and heard a knock on the door seeing Adrien. She got slightly flustered at his presence and asked why he was here he explained that Alya called him saying that she needed a translator. On their way to the contest Adrien spoke to Marinette's uncle in Chinese but was surprised that Wang Cheng could speak English.
At the hotel, Marinette apologized to Adrien for the inconvenience but he didn't mind it as he saw it as a great experience to practice with a master. When she doubted that her uncle even liked her and mentioned the flowers he ripped apart, Adrien clarified that he liked Marinette and being an artist he was going to use the flowers in his dish in her honor making her happy. As the contest got underway Marinette was shocked to see that her uncle lost and suspected Chloé sabotaged the dish. She tried to informed Wang Cheng about it but was disappointed that he solely took the blame. Shortly after being comfort by Adrien the hotel became in cased in caramel and then saw that her uncle got akumatized into Kung Food as well as admitting she shouldn't have rattled up Chloé. But was comforted by Tikki knowing she'll find a way to fix things before transforming Ladybug. With Cat Noir, they battle Kung Food's minions while heading to top the way of the hotel. Together with a check they manage to save Chloé, Marinette's uncle and return everything to normal.
After being informed of Chloé's trick Wang Cheng got another chance to compete. Marinette asked her uncle if he could teach her how to make Celestial Soup he agreed. This time Wang Cheng won the contest and also named his soup after Marinette with her thanking him.
In "Gamer", Marinette was writing in her diary until she was reminded by Tikki that she was working on her term paper with Alya and immediately rushed to the school. Once there they discovered that the courtyard was empty, hearing music she went to the library. It turns out that the students were trying out for spots in a video game tournament, seeing that the top player will compete with Adrien; love struck Marinette eagerly wanted to tryout. When she beats Max out of his spot, Tikki told her if she wanted to be with Adrien there are other ways to do it.
Reminding her that Max had been practicing for a long time, Marinette felt bad about what she did. At home the kwami also reminds her that Adrien will be coming over seeing the state of her room she freaked out upon hearing the doorbell, the two quickly hid all the pictures. She tried to hurry Adrien upstairs to her room so her parents don't embarrass her and as they began to practice Adrien admitted that his gaming skills aren't as good as her. Marinette gave him her lucky charm bracelet, having enough of her parent's interruptions the two take a break at the Place des Vosges but soon the two get attacked by Gamer and end up separated. Marinette discovers that Max got akumatized due to her taking his place and was quickly saved by Cat Noir.
At the top of the hotel she and Tikki transform into Ladybug. Seeing that the Gamer's robot was from Turbo Mecha Strike III seeing the damage along with the way they went to the stadium. After using Cat Noir's Cataclym on the robot Ladybug discovered that the akuma was in Max's glasses and with a robot of their own and spray paint they were able to beat Gamer in a showdown and return Max to normal. To make up for what happened earlier she gave back Max is spot his in the tourament back seeing her kindness Adrien gives up his spot so Marinette could compete with Max as her partner.

In "Reflekta", Marinette was excited for class picture day but heard that Juleka had the photo jinx and became determined to break it. As everyone was set in place Marinette noticed that Juleka wasn't here and pointed her absence to the photographer. She started to tell her friend that her jinx was broken as she was in the middle next to Adrien which left Chloé irritated but when Juleka didn't return Marinette along with Rose found her in the bathroom because of Chloé's tricks. Then, broke into the principal's office to replace the photo but Tikki told her this was a bad idea and got caught by Chloé and Sabrina despite giving them an ultimatum. Marinette fled the office to discover that Juleka got akumatized into Reflekta because of Chloé, afterwards she transforms into Ladybug. And had a face off with the villain but doesn't find it easy which almost ended in her Miraculous being taken but was prevented by Cat Noir.
Ladybug was asked by the students if she was going to help them and says she will and was separated by her partner who already got face lift but she thanked him for the save. When Ladybug noticed that Cat Noir's powers were gone she only believed he'd slow her down however the cat reminds her just because someone can't use their powers doesn't mean they're not helpful. Taking Cat Noir's advice they went to the tv studio and advised everyone to where a disguise to lure Reflekta there but caught the mayor instead. When Reflekta appeared behind them Ladybug was almost turned into a Reflekta copy but was shielded by Cat Noir. Using a camera she was able to blind the villain, catch and purify the akuma, returning to school Marinette agreed with Tikki that taking the memory card was a bad idea and comes up with a better way. After gathering in the park everyone took another class picture in the park where Juleka thanked her for breaking her photo curse.

In "The Puppeteer", Marinette was playing dolls with Manon and says that she always win because she has the Ladybug and Cat Noir dolls saying it's the rules of the heroes but not wanting Manon to be sad she lets her have one of the dolls. When Nadja comes to pick her daughter up she told her to give the doll back and that's when Marinette told her that she could have it but Nadja said that she has many toys. But the Ladybug doll rips and said Marinette she could fix it, and saw Manon and her mother leave. However she notices Manon come quickly back up to her room forgetting her bag and for the Ladybug doll but Marinette retorts reminding her of her mother's warning and Ladybug needed fixing. But giving into Manon's baby doll eyes she gives her the Lady Wifi doll after that Tikki points out to Marinette if every villain they faced had baby doll eyes, then Ladybug would be powerless.
Then their trip to the movies was put on hold when Alya turns into Lady Wifi. After leaving the train, she was approached by Cat Noir asking for information and once giving him her address Marinette disliking the idea of her partner in her room, they transform into Ladybug, once Lady Wifi is defeated the duo discovers Puppeteer has the real akuma. They head off to the news studio to confront her; despite being outnumbered by mind controlled villains including Cat Noir. Ladybug manage to defeat them all and reunite Manon with her mother. The next day she apologized to Nadja about what happened the other day and Nadja reminded her that Manon can be pretty persuasive with her "baby doll eyes". After Manon told her mother bye Marinette suggests going to the zoo and this time didn't fall for her tricks and left to see the new panther.

In "Antibug", when Chloé was attacked by an invisible entity in Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom, Marinette left to transform to find out what was going on. Ladybug and Cat Noir visied Chloé at Hôtel de Ville. Once in her room, she was cheerfully embraced by Chloé, who was oblivious to Ladybug's annoyance. She asks Chloé questions, trying to figure out who was attacking her but she said that everyone adores her but seeing that Chloe wasn't going to talk they decided to talk to Jean instead. From him they learned that Chloe and Sabrina had a fallout during one of their games leading to Chloe ignoring Sabrina. Leaving the hotel, she was noted by Cat Noir that it was going to be hard to fight someone they can't see but at her partner's warning Ladybug defended herself against Vanisher.
But the fight was increasingly difficult when Chloe entered the fray trying to help without listening to her about where the akuma was at first Ladybug believed it was in Sabrina's bag but saw it wasn't there. But using a jar of glitter and grabbing the right item they were to deakumatize Sabrina. When Cat Noir asked her why didn't she believe Chloe, Ladybug replies she doesn't believe in those in lie but it soon turns out that her disbelief in Chloe caused her akumatization into Antibug and that she was about to detransform back. Seeing the trouble she caused Marinette admitted her mistake and listened to Tikki's advice about it being okay to listen to others. Then, hurried to find Tikki something to eat and seeing her partner in danger she told Tikki to hurry, but was instructed to save Cat Noir on her own but Marinette was hestaint to do so without her suit. With further encouragement from Tikki and her phone she got an idea, with Antibug distracted she freed Cat Noir and with Tikki back up to full power they retransformed into Ladybug.
Meeting with Cat Noir, she thought the akuma was in Chloe's yoyo but listened to her partner about it being in her earrings. By using a bag of marbles to have Antibug lose her sword, despite that the villainess taunted them but Ladybug says that she and Cat Noir were a team and deakumatized Chloe. After repairing everything, she made up with Chloe, encouraged her to make up with Sabrina and hears that her rival goes back to being her number one fan. Before leaving she thanks Cat Noir for the advice agreeing that they were unstoppable as a team. Then, seeing Sabrina and Chloe make up the next day at school, Marinette knew they'd be best friends in their own way.

In "Volpina", while at school Marinette from Alya begins to hear her talk about the life of an amazing girl named Lila who had enrolled the school. Upon reading Alya's blog she found a video about her saying she was saved by Ladybug. Which left Marinette shocked because she never met Lila as her alter ego but was even more jealous of her when she saw her hanging out and trying to flirt with Adrien. Observing the two she and Tikki discovered that the book they had was special and having enough Lila's lies she transformed into Ladybug and chewed her out for deceiving everyone including Adrien. Which led to her being akumatizied into Volpina at first she had a tough time accepting her as an ally but after discovering that she was in league with Hawk Moth and battling through Volpina's illusions, Ladybug and Cat Noir managed to save "Adrien". Afterwards she tried to apologize for her rude behavior but Lila denied her attempt at peace. Then, remembering Adrien she wanted to check on him and by talking with him through his bathroom she discovers that he was fine and leaves.
Returning home Marinette hoped that the book would help her talk to Adrien without her mask but knew she wouldn't be returning it. Then heard Tikki say that it's information is invaluable and was taken to someone who's been looking for it.

In "Santa Claws", Marinette babysat Manon and helped her parents in their bakery by giving out Christmas logs to the customers who donated to Ladybug's and Cat Noir's charity fund. When Adrien's chauffeur walked in to take a Christmas log, Marinette ran to her room, grabbed the present she made for Adrien, and gave it to the driver to give to Adrien.
Around midnight, she received a phone call from Nathalie, informing Marinette and her family that Adrien was missing. Marinette's family went to search for Adrien while Marinette transformed into Ladybug. She found the results of Cat Noir's cataclysm and the note she left in Adrien's present. She then concluded an akumatized villain was after Adrien and that Cat Noir was protecting him. She followed the footprints she found in the snow and was eventually led to the Agreste mansion, where Adrien was outside the gates with a Santa Claus.
Assuming the Santa Claus was an akumatized villain, she attacked him. However, her attack resulted in him becoming an actual akumatized villain known as Santa Claws. Santa Claws dumped a present full of bats on Ladybug before running off, forcing her to chase him. She and Cat Noir chased him across Paris before they were flunged into Alya's house. Ladybug summons her Lucky Charm (a box), takes some supplies from the Césaires, and sets up a trap at the Eiffel Tower, tricking Santa Claws and removing his akuma. After the damage caused by Santa Claws is fixed, Marinette and her family eat Christmas dinner at the Agreste mansion.

In "The Collector", Marinette meets the guardian of the Miraculous, Master Fu, and showed him the Miraculous Spellbook. When Master Fu told her that he believes that whoever owned the Spellbook must also have the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous, she feared that this meant Adrien was Hawk Moth. And lied telling Master Fu that she didn't know who it belonged to. However, after learning that Adrien had been banned from school after losing an important book belonging to his father, Marinette realized that the important book was the Miraculous Spellbook and concludes that Gabriel was likely Hawk Moth. As Ladybug, she sent Cat Noir a message saying that she knows who Hawk Moth was and after he meets her, the two of them go to Gabriel's house to investigate. However, they instead find Gabriel akumatized into The Collector. After an intense battle in the Agreste mansion, Ladybug and Cat Noir manage to defeat The Collector by filling up his book with CDs (unknown to her she was right). Afterwards, Marinette goes to Master Fu telling him the truth about the Miraculous Spellbook, but also voices disappointment over Adrien never being allowed back in school. Master Fu, however, offers a solution. He takes pictures of the book's pages with his smartphone and then Marinette returns the book to Gabriel. Happy that Adrien was allowed to return to school.

In "Prime Queen", Marinette was approached by a worried Tikki about her secret identity being revealed on Nadja's tv show. However, she assured her that she only agreed to ensure the citizens safety but Tikki warned her to be careful tonight. Surprised Marinette thought it wasn't till tomorrow but the video claimed the show was tonight the same time she had to babysit Manon leaving her awestruck. Shortly after Manon was dropped off Marinette called Alya and once she arrived Marinette told them she had to talk with her parents and be back soon. But actually she was talking to Tikki about deciding to go the show or not but with the kwami being supportive of either choice. She transformed into Ladybug and went to the television studio.
The show goes off well until they saw a picture of themselves in love but Ladybug explained they weren't a couple. When Nadja pried too much about the heroes' personal lives they left under the excuse that there was an akuma attack that led to the show's cancellation. On the roof of the building the heroine was asked by the cat of who needed saving. She answered they were ones who needed it because they were superheroes not stars and are suppose to remain a mystery. Due to the show being cancelled Nadja was akumatized into Prime Queen.
Afterwards the duo saw that Prime Queen had captured and trapped Chloé on a speeding train. However the heroine was hesitant to jump through the screen but was reminded they didn't have a choice. Once there Prime Queen demanded that the heroes admit their love but Ladybug refused. And yet, temporarily giving into her demands she only admits it to have her stop the train landing on top of her partner shocked to hear him purring, when Cat Noir tried kiss her Ladybug denied it and Chloé was saved. But they discovered that Prime Queen trapped Alya in a sarcophagus in the museum and left to save her but ended trapped in a freezer instead.
Cat Noir offered to use his Cataclysm but Ladybug denied it after summoning her Lucky Charm she received masking tape by covering the tv screen they lured Prime Queen to them. Ladybug and Cat Noir were able to capture the akuma and used the Miraculous Ladybug to return Chloé and Alya home. Afterwards Marinette returned home was relieved that she was fine and shared a hug, by morning she watched a video of Alya with her and Manon about the Ladyblog congratulating her for the success and asked for an autograph.

In "Despair Bear", during a cooking class given by her father Tom; Marinette commented that her father loves it when he comes over to her school to Alya. While she was took the bowl to the kitchen Tikki smelled it and asked for a taste but she told her to wait and control her sweet tooth. But after hearing the fire alarm she told Tikki to hide and saw her classmates leaving the classroom where her father hoped it was fire drill.
During Mr. Damocles' interrogation, Marinette informed Alya that this was Chloé's doing and yet she didn't have any proof. Then, Chloé tried to pin the blame on her but was vouched for by Alya and Adrien when Chloé tried to avoid the blame Marinette wanted to step up but was halt by her friends. Nonetheless, she and everyone else were stuck cleaning the courtyard as punishment once done Marinette along with Alya, Rose, Juleka and Mylene head to her house for a photoshoot for Alya's blog. Until everyone got invited to a party hosted by Chloé however Marinette was skeptical because of her rival's nature but changes her mind when Adrien was invited.
As everyone came together for a slow dance and Marinette was pushed by Alya to dance with Adrien until he asked her nervously accepting. During the party the akumatized villain Despair Bear attacked after their quick escape she was reminded by Tikki of the task at hand before transforming. Despite with Cat Noir's help, the villain's constant hopping around didn't make him easy to catch and soon Ladybug fought against a controlled Cat Noir but thanks to Chloé's help they were able to free the cat and stop the villain. Afterwards, Marinette and Adrien both agreed that Chloé would never fully change when Adrien commented that her baking was has good as her dancing she blushed.

In "Riposte", Marinette was in the locker room looking for helmet and was complimented by Tikki that she looked good in fencing gear and yet was hesitant on not being able to make the team but was assured she'll do great. During the tryouts she was looking for Adrien who approached her while thanking her for the compliment. While being taught the rules of fencing a mysterious fencer walks in demanding to be enrolled seeing the mystery fencer's skills Marinette thought she was going to lose the spot on the team. As the duel between Adrien and the mysterious fencer was underway the battle was so fierce that she was the only one to witnessed it.
When they turned to her to see who was the victor Marinette became so flustered and picked Adrien but wasn't completely sure herself on who won. She felt bad about making the decision but was reminded by Tikki that she had a chance to get on the team. Afterwards, she noticed an akuma and quickly transformed into Ladybug to catch it but it already akumatized the mysterious fencer into Riposte who was after Adrien. Upon confronting the villain Ladybug discovered that the weapon was merged with her hand and got into a duel with her but was completely outmatched and almost skewered until she was saved by Adrien. Briefly escaping, she knew it was hard for her to protect him and fight at the same time, made a call to Cat Noir but received no answer.
When the villain found them they tried to reason with her but it didn't work out and she battled her again on the rooftops. After trapping Riposte the two made their way to Louvre Museum and warned the people of an incoming akuma. Needing a safe place to hide Adrien she put him in the sarcophagus in the History Exhibit, and with Cat Noir they fought Riposte once more but during the duel she discovered something was wrong with him and ended up separated. Ending up back in the History exhibit, Ladybug looked on in horror as Adrien was finished but saw that he wasn't there and using a radiator along with Cat Noir they defeated Riposte. She led the mysterious fencer out of the museum and quickly found Adrien who hid somewhere else in the midst of talking about Cat Noir, Ladybug admits that he was better than her at fencing.
Just as her time was almost up Ladybug encouraged Adrien to make amends with the mysterious fencer whose name was Kagami. After detransforming as Marinette secretly watched the two and she heard Adrien consider her a great friend which wasn't what she wanted. When Tikki said that Marinette may need to work on her fencing she engaged the kwami in a playful fencing match.

In "Befana", some time prior Marinette noticed her friends were acting strange. She was happy that today was her birthday and eagerly waited for a call from Alya. While she was distracted Tikki spoke of a gift for her and received a kwagatama. Marinette heard her say that she didn't like the gift but wanted to spare her feelings but she apologized telling Tikki that she was waiting for Alya who was planning her surprise birthday party. Then, Marinette explained all the clues to Tikki and walked in to find her parents surprised at her arrival but when she heard a knock at the door Marinette was surprised to see her grandmother Gina Dupain.
Throughout the day Marinette spent time with grandmother doing the things when she was little, looking sadly at the candy Gina gave her Tikki asked why she didn't tell her she didn't like it. Marinette says she wanted to spare her grandmother's feelings and soon received a call from Alya informing her grandmother about where she was going. At the party everyone wished Marinette a happy birthday but things got worse when her grandmother got akumatizied into Befana and attacked the celebration. Under fire she tried to run but was cornered and saw Alya and Kim get turned into coal statues while trying to protect her, she tried to transform but was interrupted by Cat Noir and they escaped. On their way to the Eiffel Tower, she was commented by the cat about being a lucky girl to have so many friends protect her and was asked why her grandmother was freaking out Marinette says she wanted to spend more time with her. Arriving at the tower she was assured by the cat he would get her grandmother back safe and wished a happy birthday finally alone Marinette transformed into Ladybug.
She met up with Cat Noir finishing his song and fought against Befana's angels; Ladybug was informed by him that they had to prevent Befana from heading to the tower. When she knew why the heroine almost reveal the truth but stopped herself as the fight continued they noticed that Befana couldn't touch her own candies. Realizing where the akuma was Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a tuba but soon they were surrounded needing to separate Befana from her minions Ladybug pretended to surrender once separated she took care of the angels. Using the instrument and a Cataclysm on a fire hydrant the duo saved Marinette's grandmother. Back at the party Marinette loved the gift Adrien gave her, although Tikki found it strange when Marinette said the same thing about hers causing Tikki to become irritated. But revealed to her as a necklace she cherished her gift too explaining what matters wasn't the gift but the person who gave it.
In "Robostus", while at school Marinette forgot her bag going back to the Locker Room to get it. Then, with Tikki she noticed Max talking to his best friend in his bag which was strange. When the computer system was about to crash she was amazed that Max's friend was actually a robot named Markov. Upon hearing Max's concern about Markov and seeing the robot's akumatization, they both quickly understood why he was worried and transformed into Ladybug. Meeting up with Cat Noir the duo tried to reason with Robostus, but they were tossed out of the school and fought Robostus' army throughout the city leading to the stadium. During their fight, she and Cat Noir were captured and almost had their miraculouses taken by Robosus who wanted to make a wish to become human. Which they found strange because it was always Hawk Moth who wanted their jewels. But thanks to Max's intervention, a Cataclysm used on Robostus' robot and a harp the heroes were able to stop the villain. But seeing Max's hesitation Ladybug convinced him to forgive Markov
Afterwards, Marinette went to Master Fu's shop, from him she learned with the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses are combined the wearer can invoke the ultimate power. Amazed she wondered why they couldn't use that power to do many good things and yet she was warned by Master Fu of the consequences of the power if Ladybug and Cat Noir ever lost their magic jewels. She vowed to him that they won't.

In "The Dark Owl", during most of the week as Ladybug, Marinette had to save The Owl who was actually Mr. Damocles trying to be his own hero. As Marinette went home from school she was invited to a sleepover at Alya's but had to cancel to help her parents at the bakery. After saving The Owl for the fifth time Ladybug and Cat Noir tried to dissuade him from these danger acts but fell it on deaf ears. After dealing with the news reporters she and Cat Noir talked on the rooftops understanding that Mr. Damocles had a good heart but knew it would end badly. Rather than shattering the principal's dreams Ladybug thought of making his dream come true. Throughout the night Marinette prepared the costume and a pair of fake Miraculous.
After Marinette finished school the next day she told Alya she was still busy but was free tomorrow and transformed into Ladybug and went with Cat Noir to Alya's house to ask for a favor. Once they staged everything for The Owl, things took a disastrous turn which caused The Owl's identity to be revealed. By nightfall, Marinette was sewing until she was shocked that their little plan caused Mr. Damocles' akumatization and that Dark Owl planned to harm innocent animals. After transforming into Ladybug again; the heroes arrived the stadium needing time to find the akuma she had Cat Noir distract him while they stayed in contact. In an effort to take the detonator Ladybug had a brief fight with Dark Owl but was tossed into the stadium. Ready for another fight and needing to hurry using her Lucky Charm she received a fountain pen but were tricked into a trap.
After falling into the crate they both discovered that the plot was fake just to lure them but used the ink in the pen to cover the screen. To fool Dark Owl, Ladybug pretended that she and Cat Noir would surrender telling her partner that they were going to detransform but have their eyes closed. Inside the crate Marinette felt around for Cat Noir's ring but instead of taking it she closed his hand and gave the villains the fake Miraculous and once their kwami's recharged the heroes retransformed. After another fight with Dark Owl and summoning another Lucky Charm from a comic book the heroes discovered that the akumatized object wasn't on Dark Owl but back at the school. Once there Ladybug was restrained by the villain but not before setting off the chain reaction with a comic book and yet had one of her earrings forced off and slowly transformed back. Thanks to the chain reaction she was able to retrieve it and purified the akuma.
Seeing The Owl become a hero on a smaller scale, Ladybug and Cat Noir had more free time after politely turning down the Cat's offer for a movie. She detransformed and went to Alya's house to play videogames while Alya told Marinette about her adventure with her favorite heroes. She won the game Alya claimed she cheated and got tickled by her as they laughed.

In "Gigantitan", Marinette had her friends come over to help execute a dating plan for a special someone but was hesitant on revealing the name. When she told them that it was Adrien, she was shocked they already knew but was thankful for their support. During an attempt to plan it Marinette came across a struggling mother and decided to help her afterwards, she saw Adrien's bodyguard coming back.
But soon a baby boy named August was akumatized into Gigantitan knowing that the romantic outing was on hold Marinette transformed into Ladybug. Meeting up with Cat Noir, she figured out that the akuma was in Gigantitan's bracelet but found it hard to get to with the villain's constant distractions and complicated plans. After using gift wrap disguised as a treat the duo was finally able to get the bracelet, returned August back to normal and reunite him with his mother. Afterwards, she detransformed, found her friends and decided to ask Adrien upfront if they could hang out but her scrambled message led her to turning down Adrien's offer and took a rickshaw ride home with her friends.

In "Glaciator", Marinette transformed into Ladybug along with Cat Noir they saved people from a runaway bus as they let people off she was asked by the hero about having a dinner date with him but even though she was touched Ladybug spoke of other plans. Returning home Marinette was having dinner with her parents afterwards she spoke of going André's for ice cream with her friends. When they easily figured that out they asked her who the lucky guy was which left Marinette to leave in a huff. Then, met up with Alya and her friends at André's ice cream stand when but was disappointed that Adrien wasn't coming. But Marinette was encouraged by Tikki that she could still have fun and was asked if she could have some ice cream too.
She was called out by André about being in love with someone and was offered a cone but denied it at first but accepted. After Marinette dropped it confusing Adrien with someone else she became so depressed that she believed that André's ice cream wasn't special and walked away. Later that night, she was disappointed in herself for her attitude towards André but was comforted by Tikki telling her that she just had a bad night and will have another chance. Wanting some time alone, Marinette went up to her balcony and was approached by Cat Noir surprised to see him, she asked if he had hero stuff to do but he didn't. Seeing that he didn't want to be alone she welcomed his company through their conversation the two had common ground about love problems. Then Marinette discovered that Cat Noir's feelings for her alter ego were real and was curious on what his surprise was; once there she was amazed but seeing Cat Noir sad she tried to cheer him up but was soon attacked by Glaciator. Then, discovered that the villain was André and escorted back home before Cat Noir left she thanked him for cheering her up.
After seeing a new side of Cat Noir; Marinette thought she was wrong about him and transformed into Ladybug. Meeting with her angry partner, she received a cold shoulder from him about missing their date, while fighting the villain they discovered that Glaciator didn't attack couples. After apologizing the heroes pretended to be a couple to get close enough to him to see that André was inside the monster. Using her Lucky Charm Ladybug received a helmet, with a motorcycle and a makeshift propeller they were able to save Paris from being buried in a mountain of ice cream.
Arriving at the date spot, Ladybug was amazed but not wanting to lie to her best friend, she admitted she was in love with another guy but refused to say anything else knowing their personal lives must be kept secret. She expected Cat Noir to be angry but he respected her honesty and was given a kiss and rose by him which left her blushing. The next day, Marinette arrived at André's ice cream stand and when asked by André if his ice cream had the magic touch she told him to have a good day and shared some with Tikki.
In "Sapotis", Marinette was at Alya's house for a sleepover where she was talking to Alya's mother about how the twins were almost ready for bed. After that she commented on her friend's ability to deal with them. And yet when Marinette heard that Alya was getting closer in her search for Ladybug's identity Marnette tried to dissuade her by reminding her the importance of secrecy of a hero's identity. After Etta and Ella got grounded the girls discovered they got akumatized into the Sapotis causing a ruckus in the house where Marinette mentioned that Alya might have been too strict with them. Observing them she discovered they multiply every time they eat; noticing an opened window Marinette failed to catch them and the little monsters escaped into the city.
Seeing the damage Marinette transformed into Ladybug, meeting Cat Noir they managed to find one of the clones and destroyed the hat. Curious he asked how did she know and answered it was through trial and error but due that one being a clone there wasn't an akuma. Realizing what they had to do the heroes went through many clones but didn't find the right one. After fighting several more they discovered that there were too many Sapotis' for them to handle, surrounded Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm and received a teapot. But didn't see how to use it until Cat Noir reminded her of someone, understanding that the team needed help. After getting Cat Noir to trust her she destransformed and went to Master Fu's shop explaining the situation. Understanding the Guardian, Marinette was allowed to take another Miraculous and choose a temporary ally to help them and took the Fox Miraculous and knew of the perfect person for the job.
Transforming back into Ladybug she found Alya trying to reason with some of them to no avail and destroyed the clones. Understanding Alya's desire to help find her sisters Ladybug presented her with the Fox Miraculous under the permission that the jewel had to returned when the mission was over. Upon seeing Alya transformed she commented that she looked like Lila, Ladybug said she was the superhero version and left to find Cat Noir. After saving him, she introduced the cat to their new ally but was unsure what to call her until Alya called herself Rena Rouge. However, the moment was ruined when the trio was surrounded, retreating to higher ground Ladybug summoned another Lucky Charm receiving a unicycle. Once she gathered the necessary items, riding a rickshaw Ladybug started leading the Sapotis to "Sapotis Land" getting them into a narrow space she told Cat Noir to implement the next stage of the plan. In doing so, all the hats were collected, destroyed, the little monsters disappeared and then she used her Miraculous Ladybug to repair the city.
She held Rena back from saying one of the twins' names and would follow her shortly but asked Cat Noir to take the twins back home. Once Rena detransformed, Ladybug thanked Alya for her help but saw that she was hesitant on returning the jewel. But she reminded her of her promise but knowing her time was almost up she trusted Alya and went inside a building to destransform. At first, Marinette was saddened that Alya wouldn't return the jewel but upon hearing her opening the door and leaving it she was glad was her best friend made the right choice. After returning the Fox Miraculous to Master Wang; she was relieved that Alya was alright and enjoyed the rest of the sleepover.

In "Gorizilla", Marinette was swooning over Adrien's new ad until she was alerted by a cellphone call from Alya asking were she was. In her haste, Marinette left in her pajamas which was pointed out by Tikki and rushed back home to change but bumped into Adrien instead. Who asked if he could hide at her place; surprised she asked why but got an answer upon seeing Adrien's fan mob. Hiding in the park fountain Marinette was thanked for the save and informed Adrien she found out about his ad but he retorted saying that it was embarrassing just as she was still in her pajamas. Seeing that Adrien was safe Marinette tried to leave but was pulled back into hiding upon seeing Adrien's bodyguard where he explained he snuck out of his house without permission.
After being spotted again they made it to the subway station and she heard Adrien's apology where Marinette had mixed feelings of being Adrien's girlfriend but changed the subject asking him if everything was going to be okay between him and his father. Adrien told her everything would be fine with his lucky charm (the bracelet she gave him) but their moment was ruined by another fan mob they tried to run but ended up surrounded until Marinette was pushed into a subway car by Adrien heading towards another station. Wearing disguises she commented Adrien for the idea of hiding in the movie theater until she was informed this was where he was going. Where she also found out that the theater was showing a movie where Adrien's mother starred the leading role. But just as Adrien took off his helmet the two friends were swarmed by Adrien's fan mob again
Until Gorizilla bursts through the ceiling and kidnapped Adrien seeing her friend in danger Marinette transformed into Ladybug. But with the villain's brute size, strength and Cat Noir nowhere to be found Ladybug found it difficult to fight alone but used a toy helicopter to get out of the villain's grip. When she saw Adrien falling Ladybug called for her partner but after Gorizilla released the heroine caught him and the two safely landed on the ground. Caught in the moment Ladybug was almost shocked when Adrien called her his lady. With her time running out Ladybug had to hurry with "Adrien" acting as bait and Cat Noir finally arriving they were able to stop Gorizilla.
After an exhausting day she detransformed and went home, Marinette was ecstatic that she had the best day ever with Adrien but seeing her condition she switched it to the worst the day of her life. Until she received another call from Alya and her friends begging for more details and heard they're still at the pool.
In "Captain Hardrock", Marinette and her were at Juleka's mother's houseboat to help Juleka's mother Anarka Couffaine prepare for the musical festival. In the midst of the preparations she was informed by Alya that Adrien wasn't coming she was disappointed referring to them like a compass and statue. Until hearing Alya refer it the other way around and was sent by Anarka to get her son Luka finding him in his room the two become friends. Testing out the equipment, Alya said that Marinette had found a new statue she quickly denied saying that Adrien was only one who drove her compass crazy as Luka played his guitar she was shocked at the sonic boom that was produced alerting the police.
Upon their arrival, Marinette proposed a compromise but Anarka refused which led her to be akumatized into Captain Hardrock. Then, she and Luka tried to reason with her but she and everyone became prisoners below the ship. Eyeing Tikki in her bag and once the coast was clear she gave her a nod to phase through the chain setting her and Luka free while Marinette claimed she picked the lock with a guitar pick. Quickly finding a place to hide Tikki and Marinette transformed into Ladybug and upon meeting Cat Noir the heroes tried their best to control or anchor the ship with no success. When the cat, attempted to used Cataclysm to destroy the ship she restrained him to tell him that there were prisoners below deck. While the cat fought against the captain Ladybug attempting to free the prisoners and informed them that Marinette was the one who called her. When Luka called her alter ego very brave the heroine blushed at the compliment until being reminded at the task at hand summoning her Lucky Charm she received a metal chain.
Rejoining Cat Noir, Ladybug told him she couldn't free prisoners or figure out how to use her Lucky Charm. Along with the cat they used it to tie the captain around the compass leading the ship to ran aground leading to her defeat. Using the Miraculous Ladybug, the heroine restored the ship and purified the akuma; before the festival began Marinette was glad that Adrien made it but tried to warn him about the stuff on the ground but it was too late. After Adrien had join the band she was asked by Alya if her compass was going crazy but enjoyed the music festival.

In "Frightningale", Marinette tried to do the moves while watching Clara's Nightningale's new video admiring that she was amazing. But when she heard that Clara was doing her next video to honor Ladybug and Cat Noir, Marinette was so surprised that she fainted. After Marinette received Alya's call, she was approached by a concerned Tikki that she was auditioning for Ladybug but assured Tikki that she was going as an extra. Proud of her wielder's decision they leave for the shoot.
She was completely in awe at the sight of her favorite musician and more so that Adrien posed as Cat Noir. As Marinette saw Clara coming in their direction she was shocked that she tripped and decided to help her up. But was surprised that she picked her to be Ladybug and yet turned down the offer, was praised by Tikki and admired by her friends. Seeing Chloé dressed up as her alter ego Marinette was angry to the point where she agreed to the offer. In the dressing room as Tikki was amazed at how much the costume looks like the real deal, Marinette apologized for giving into the temptation and hid her mask. During their rehearsal she and Adrien had trouble synchronizing their movements and when Clara mentioned of their masks, she nervously said that she couldn't find it but after they were found she slowly started to put it on until Chloé arrived and cancelled the performance.
After the shoot was cancelled Clara was akumatized into Frightningale then Marinette and Tikki transformed into Ladybug. Both heroes found it difficult to fight her until she and Cat Noir became affected too forcing them to sing and dance. By using a pair of handcuffs they were prevented from being turned into statues and with Cat Noir's Cataclysm they destroyed Frightningale's mike and saved the shoot. After Clara was deakumatized Ladybug proposed a way for her to finished the video without any interruptions. Watching the finished video in the school's library Marinette agreed with her friends that she loved this version a lot better and when Adrien commented that she was funnier than her alter ego. She commented that he was nothing like Cat Noir leading to everyone sharing a laugh.

In "Syren", once all the animals were contained, Ladybug heard Cat Noir voice his frustrations about her keeping secrets from him and said she would talk to him about it leaving with Rena. Retrieving the Fox Miraculous she thanked Alya for the help and saw her run off; transforming Marinette was told by Tikki if she wanted to catch the movie she should've headed in Alya's direction. After the Fox Miraculous was returned, she voiced concerns to Master Wang about leaving her partner in the dark and became intrigued that he was working on a recipe about modifying a kwamis' powers. After the first attempt was a failure, Marinette realized she was late to the cinema. However, the movie was cut short due to Syren's flooding, escaping to the roof she saw Kim get captured by villain separating themselves from the others they transformed into Ladybug.
And yet, Ladybug found it extremely difficult to fight Syren underwater. Then, she was caught by Cat Noir who informed her that cats weren't fond of water either. Once she summoned her Lucky Charm and received a potion bowl she understood to seek out Master Wang Fu but was still skeptical on saying anything about him to Cat Noir saying it wasn't easy for her either. Detransforming Marinette found him still trying to figure out the right ingredient assuring Master Wang they would and suggested using real tear of joy. To do so, she told him many jokes causing him to tear up in laughter. Upon completing the potion Tikki transformed into "Aqua Tikki" and they retransformed now on a level playing field, she informed the master it was time to put "the noodles in the boiling water". Ladybug was joined by Cat Noir using a set of car keys were able to beat Syren, saved Kim and Paris from being a swimming pool as well as being thanked by the cat for keeping her promise.
Shortly after Syren's defeat, Marinette was given the vials that contained all the remaining power ups. But had concerns on keeping them hidden when informed that they could be contained in anything having an idea she baked them into macaroons which Tikki loved calling them "Magicroons". Seeing her admiring the blue one, Marinette hinted that it's pretty icy.
In "Zombizou", Marinette ran into the school's locker room and met up with her friends who were all preparing presents for Miss Bustier's birthday. Marinette showed that she made a little purse for her written with the first lesson she learned from her. But when they all found out Chloé hadn't prepared a gift she called her heartless and went to her classes with her friends. Once attending Miss Bustier's class, Marinette smiled that her gift was going to be the first one her teacher opened but was shocked when Marinette saw that her gift was ruined. And knew immediately that it was Chloé who did it however, but saw her teacher unfazed by this Marinette became angry that she was getting punished and Chloé wasn't.
But her anger didn't go unnoticed by Hawk Moth, who sent an akuma to her. From Miss Bustier she learned wasn't being punished and yet praised by her to set a good example. Noticing the akuma, Marinette was shielded by her refusing to let it akumatize her. However, when her teacher tried to resist Hawk Moth's influence Marinette encouraged her to stay positive, but saw her on the verge of being akumatized. Escaping to Locker Room, she refused to let Hawk Moth get away with this and transformed into Ladybug. After meeting Zombizou, Ladybug distracted her long enough for everyone to escape and soon was attacked by her minions. Tying them up she searched the school for survivors, locating the missing students in the Locker Room. Knowing their location wasn't safe they all moved to roof; joined by Cat Noir they heard from the news that Zombizou was after Chloé. She stopped the remaining students from giving into the villain's demands saying she needs her for their plan. So the heroes decided to take Chloé to the tower but along the way they lost most of their friends.
Shortly after arriving at the tower, Alya became infected too but was instructed by her to save them all. Sadly, leaving her the heroine wanted Nino to come along but when he refused she became upset that all of her friends were sacrificed to get this far. Making it to the top, the heroes were cornered by Zombizou's minions after securing Chloé, Ladybug went back to check on Cat Noir finding him she was told to leave as she was the only one who could fix this. Back inside the office she found Chloé who wished her luck as the villainess and her minions closed in, summoning her Lucky Charm Ladybug received makeup remover. Soon she had to deal with a zombified Cat Noir and heard Chloé apologize for the trouble she caused. As the hero closed in the heroine was saved by Chloé, using the makeup remover Ladybug was able defeat Zombizou and cleansed the city. After everything returned to normal she comforted Miss Bustier saying that Hawk Moth was to blame and yet saw Chloé step up admitting her mistake.
During school the next day, Marinette took back her earlier remark about Chloé being heartless. Informed Alya that Chloé can be nice as long as they keep setting the example as their class started.
In "Frozer", after helping a delivery man on a runaway hanglider Ladybug was romatically approached by Cat Noir again. However, she sadly remainds him that she was in love with someone else also telling him she can't imagine the world without him (unaware that it's Cat Noir's alter ego) and left for school. Once there Marinette came across Adrien who wanted to talk about his love life and when she heard that he jokingly had a crush on Kagami, Marinette was left awestruck, briefly calling her Ice Queen. But retorts by saying ice rink, following that she accepted Adrien's offer to come, once he left Marinette asked Tikki what happened.
Soon she was with her friends on Juleka's family houseboat who offered ideas on how Marinette could admit her feelings to Adrien but she saw no point in it believing she and Adrien could only be friends and leaves. Then, came across Luka and asked him to come with her and he agrees while skating Marinette was asked by Phillippe to sign up for lessons but refused. After a while she trips but Luka and Adrien offer to help however Marinette was unsure of whose to hand grab until helps her up informing her to be less hesitant. Afterwards she leaves and talks with Tikki explaining that Luka was great but wasn't sure if things were going to be same with Adrien. But that was put on hold when the whole ice ring was getting covered in ice, knowing there was another akumatized villain on the loose. Marinette and Tikki transform into Ice-Bug however she received a cold shoulder from Cat Noir and was on her own wanting to think of a plan until she was saved by her partner aware that he was right to observe.
With a bag of salt they were able to save Paris from being a kingdom of ice. Returning to the rink Marinette was asked by Luka if she wanted to take the subway home wanting to talk to Adrien she thanked him for understanding. She ran after him, wanting to hang out with him again, however when she heard him offer just the two of them. Marinette akwardly offered taking the whole gang and Adrien agreed saying he'd clear his schedule. Knowing that wasn't what she intended; she was comforted by Tikki knowing she'd get there someday.
In "Style Queen", it was time for Fashion Week and Marinette was adding the final touches to her hat but was incredibly nervous. But she was told by Tikki it was a good choice to change the feather with Adrien's allergy realizing that they were late she hurried to the show, but Marinette stopped and freaked out because Audrey Bourgeois came to the event. Hearing her set the new fashion trend with glitter she tried to leave but was prevented by Nathalie making her way inside she dropped the hat and hastily leaves with it. Making it to Adrien's dressing room, she told him not to wear it but was encouraged by Adrien to be proud of it. Despite that the show went well until Audrey was akumatized into Style Queen and turned Adrien into a glitter statue leaving Marinette horrified. Afterwards the duo transformed into Ladybug, she tries to fight Style Queen off but barely avoids getting turned into a glitter statue thanks to Chloé and followed the villain to the Eiffel Tower.
She desperately tried to call Cat Noir but he was no where to be found, then used her Lucky Charm and received a mallet. Understanding it's purpose she left for Master Fu's seeking his help and from she they found out that her partner lost his ring. Then, meets Plagg to whom she knows that he's Cat Noir's kwami and offered to help but heard from Master Fu that he was too dangerous without an owner. Same as before Marinette took the Bee Miraculous and re-transform. Returning to the tower, she spotted Alya and offered her the jewel but due to Style Queen's intervention she lost it.
Despite putting up a fight with a glued flag Ladybug was back into a corner until Plagg arrived using Cataclysm on the tower, she saw the reason why he wasn't allowed out but it bought her enough time to stop Style Queen and save Adrien. When Ladybug had concerns for her partner Plagg assured her he'd be back next time, giving Adrien a ride back at the Fashion Show she was thanked by him and de-transformed. Then, Marinette was reminded that she had to return the Bee Miraculous to Master Fu, but when she thought the magic ladybugs brought it back Tikki said they didn't. Realizing the Bee Miraculous was missing Marinette tried to go back to get it but was stopped by her parents. She assured her they would go back for it after the show.
In "Troublemaker", when her mother voiced concerns about Jagged and his crew performing their show at the bakery. Marinette eased her concerns by reminding her that Jagged asked specifically to come, as well as liking the idea to drum up business for the bakery and her father become a celebrity. Everything was going fine but once Marinette found her room live on camera she panicked and ordered everyone out. She was completely freaking out about her secret being unveiled despite being comforted by Tikki but soon through the television noticed that everyone was acting strange and yet saw that Penny was akumatized into Troublemarker leading her to transform.
Upon hearing the commotion outside, she lassoed Cat Noir up to the balcony and once inside adverted his gaze from Marinette's pictures. However, it was hard for them to fight someone they couldn't touch but realized what was Troublemarker's strength was also her weakness as well. During the struggle, she got one of her earrings taken away leading to her detransforming but thanks to Cat Noir; Ladybug managed to retrieve it. Then, upon summoning her lucky charm the heroine was shocked she received a broken plate, at first Ladybug couldn't see how to use it then Cat Noir suggested maybe losing an earring weakened her power. By using a glue stick they went back to Marinette's room per part of the plan pretending to be defenseless the duo found kept Troublemarker solid, she captured the akuma and deakumatized Penny. Joining Cat Noir on the balcony she playfully told him that he won't be finding out her identity and heard Cat Noir retorts calling her the girl of his dreams. Afterwards, she rejoined the tv crew and her parents downstairs.
The next day, Marinette was asked by Tikki if she was okay and said that she was never going to convince her parents to have a tv show at their house again. Tikki commented on that if Marinette wanted the whole world to know her secrets wanting to lay low she snuck her way to school. Then, was surprised by Adrien in the locker room aware he watched the show, talked about the photographs explaining that she was really into fashion. In a teasing manner, she was happy Adrien understood saying he got use to having lots of fans as well as photographs of him everywhere. Then, was invited to come to his next photoshoot and was estaticed and Adrien would keep her posted. She was praised by Tikki for her progress sharing a laugh.
In "Queen Wasp", after the events of "Style Queen" Marinette continued watching the fashion show nervously waving a comment to Alya's blog and being shocked at Gabriel's sudden appearance. Afterwards when Audrey knew that the hat Adrien was wearing wasn't a Gabriel design, that's when Marinette stood proud for her design admitting it was hers. She was surprised that Audrey liked it and also gave her the opportunity to come to New York, however Marinette saw that Chloé was unhappy and got disregarded by her mother. Even more so that she had Bee Miraculous transforming in broad daylight trying to prove herself better.
Meanwhile taking a subway train home Marinette asked Tikki about what to do about Audrey's offer seeing that all her dreams could come true. Tikki retorted asking who would protect Paris from Hawk Moth if Marinette left, when she spoke of Cat Noir and their allies. Tikki also reminded her that only a Ladybug can purify akumas, soon figuring out what to do about Audrey's offer would have to wait when Chloé caused a speeding train as Queen Bee. Knowing that Chloé couldn't pull it off on her own and having to retrieve the Bee Miraculous, Marinette transformed into Ladybug. After stopping the speeding train with Cat Noir, she chewed Queen Bee out for her recklessness and demanded her jewel back. When Chloé refused, Cat Noir easily figured out what happened, not wanting anyone else to hear Ladybug pulled her partner away from the cameras reminding him of the events of "Style Queen". Seeing her rival take her leave the heroes followed her to retrieve the lost Miraculous but it wasn't going to be easy. Entering the hotel, Ladybug and Cat Noir found everyone paralyzed and quickly discovered that Chloé was akumatized into Queen Wasp while wearing the jewel.
Knowing where the akuma was she suggested using Cat Noir's Cataclysm to destroy the jewel but they had to get to it without getting stung. By avoiding the swarm underwater and having Chloé come to an understanding the Bee Miraculous was restored and retrieved. Afterwards, Marinette came to talk with Chloé she was asked by Tikki if she was sure of her choice which she confirmed. Knocking on her rival's bedroom door, Marinette heard her response and refused to leave. Approaching Audrey, Marinette says that she declines her offer by saying that there's so much of her life in Paris, the Fashion Queen retorted saying that she was making a mistake. However, she answers back by saying the same thing and reveals Chloé behind her seeing her rival still hesitant she pushed her on. Adding on to their conversation Marinette points that Chloé is exceptional like her mother and returns home. Playing video games with her parents and Alya she told them her heart and family was here.
In "Reverser", she finds Marc hiding under the stairs and asked him to join their Art Club. But when he leaves out of nervousness Marinette saw that Marc dropped his book. After Marinette and Tikki read the Diary of Ladybug book they were both amazed by the boy's story and knew he and Nathaniel would work well together. Upon returning the book she gives Marc the idea of writing a comic book with Nathaniel by showing Marc's book to him. But not wanting to reveal his identity Marinette erases the name and gives it to Nathaniel saying that someone special wrote while they were watching the two were discovered by Adrien. Marinette nervously says that they were working on a surprise for him instead. However during Operation Comic Book as they watched from her balcony the plan took a turn for the worst when Marc was akumatized into Reverser.
After evading Reverser's arrows they transform into Ladybug but in the middle of their confrontation the heroine got struck by an arrow causing her to become very clumsy. Even with Cat Noir arriving the hero became a scaredy cat because of Reverser causing them to fall into the river. Pulling themselves to shore they knew the villain was after Nathaniel and Ladybug had an idea where to look but Cat Noir was too scared to move encouraging her partner to come along they realized they weren't going anywhere. Taking a cab to the school they saw that Reverser had beaten them there but discovered where Nathaniel was by eyeing his drawings and found him along with Alix at the Louvre Museum.
After showing them the feed on the news she asked for his help and when Alix wanted to come Ladybug said no but was quickly reminded of her and Cat Noir's conditions and accepted her help. Arriving at the Eiffel Tower the group saw the trash entering the atmosphere, she quickly comforted her partner knowing they were in it together. Summoning her Lucky Charm she received a bamboo roll, making a makeshift kite with Cat Noir tied to it and Alix doing the stirring they were able to save Marc. After being returned by to normal by the Miraculous Ladybug, Ladybug had Marc and Nathaniel make up.
Then, the next day, she was given the boy's first comic book as a way to thank her as Marc and Nathaniel believed Marinette would make a great hero if she wasn't a klutz causing her to laugh with everyone.
In "Anansi", Marinette was with Adrien (through video chat) who both were watching Alya and Nino marvelling that they were in complete sync. Then she voiced her dissappointment to Adrien about not letting his father come over. Then, heard Alya's sister Nora come in (who wishes to called her boxing ring name Anansi), however, when Alya mentioned about seeing the Fifa Cup fireworks Marinette was surprised that Alya was told stay put by Nora with the many akumatized people running around. As the sisters argued she informed Adrien while out Nora attacked someone that she though was akumatized and it turned out to be someone in a costume.
However hearing that Nora will let Alya go out with her friends if Nino beats her in an arm wrestle to which she agreed to and with her "helping" Nino win the match they leave to see the Fifa Cup fireworks. They group enjoying the display on top of the ferris wheel until the trio was attacked by Nora who was akumatized into Anansi realizing her mistake and needing to save Marinette's friends she and Marinette transformed into Ladybug. Even with Cat Noir's help, Anansi was too strong to fight alone. After a lucky charm a candle was summoned Ladybug sought out Master Fu for help while Nino held off the villain.
Arriving at Master Fu's shop, Marinette and Tikki detransformed and explained the situation to the master. Aware of the villain's strength, she needed a protective miraculous and chose the Turtle Miraculous returning to save Nino; Ladybug asked for his help informing him that it was courage and determination that will save the day. Giving the Turtle Miraculous to Nino, he transformed into their new ally Carapace.
In "Malediktator", Marinette was watching Chloé's documentary about her adventure as Queen Bee but wasn't impressed and agreed with everyone else that she didn't deserve to be called a hero then watched Chloé storm off. Afterwards, Marinette and her friends heard a helicopter above the school to see Chloé aboard and leave for New York. Then, Marinette's shocked turned into joy and because less people would be akumatized. Soon she was approached by Adrien asking what the party was about and explained that Chloé left fort New York and asked if he was glad. But when Adrien said he wasn't Marinette asked why, that's when she heard that Chloé was his only friend growing up and couldn't celebrate her unhappy departure upon hearing that she apologized to him.
Seeing Adrien unhappy Marinette began to wonder if there was more to Chloé than she originally thought. But the party was halted when Malediktator appeared, quickly hiding Marinette and Tikki knew that Chloé akumatized one last victim before she left and Marinette believed that she was partly to blame but transformed into Ladybug. Even with Cat Noir's help through an abacus the heroine knew they needed more and told her partner to wait but was horrified that Cat Noir was defenseless. At first, she wanted save to him but found out he still had claws and sought out Master Fu. Once at his shop, she explained the situation understanding Marinette was allowed to pick an ally taking the Bee Miraculous again but was doubtful and was advised by Tikki trust her instincts. Knowing of the events of "Queen Wasp", Master Wang expressed doubt but Marinette was assured on knowing how to use it. Afterwards, in looking for Chloé, she saw that Malediktator had struck her parents too and through Chloé's presentation they knew where her lair was and retransformed.
Upon finding her at the hotel, Ladybug was fine with helping Chloé but needed to know why her father was so angry. Keeping a cool head, she calmly told her that maybe Marinette wasn't totally to blame but upon seeing her rival's hesitation she gently reminded Chloé that she could tell her anything. Ladybug heard Chloé admit that she hurt father's feelings because she threatened to leave Paris forever because she served no purpose. Sympathetic towards her Ladybug says that everyone serves a purpose and gave Chloé the chance to fix her mistake if she wanted too agreeing the heroine gave her the Bee Miraculous again. Heading over the rooftops to find Malediktator, she says that they had to work together and pulled Queen Bee away from colliding with a chimney.
After finding Malediktator, she tried to tell Queen Bee the plan but thanks to her blowing their cover they were in an instant fight with Malediktator but found it tough to penetrate through his security guard shield even more so while avoiding the villain's declaration bubbles. Summoning her Lucky Charm again, Ladybug received a big machine gun and laser pointer but knowing she'd only needed the laser pointer she threw the rest of it away assuring Queen Bee of her plan. After advising her to take "the sting out", with the laser pointer Ladybug had Cat Noir take out the security guards with Malediktator defenseless and paralyzed Ladybug purified the akuma and returned everyone to normal.
In "Sandboy", Marinette noticed that Tikki was being really quiet and asked what's wrong. Tikki explained that today was Nooroo's birthday and he was all alone. But Marinette assured her that they would free him one day making it a promise when the kwami spoke of a faster way. Marinette was informed that kwamis are able to speak with their kind on their birthday or cycle however if the chance was missed they would have to wait a really long time for the next one. However, when Tikki mentioned that the opportunity was tonight Marinette was surprised that she wasn't told sooner. Because they knew that kwamis weren't allowed to leave their wielder's side in case of danger.
And yet, she listened to Plagg's plan that Tikki and Plagg would go join with the other kwamis while Wayzz kept lookout. Agreeing Marinette gave Tikki the permission to leave and was hugged by her promising not to disappoint her and left through the window with a marker while she slept. Soon Marinette was woken up by a noise and though Tikki was back but horrified to be living her worst nightmare of Adrien raving on about loving Chloé. Escaping to her balcony she that an akumatized villain named Sandboy was turning Paris into a living nightmare. Needing to find Tikki she made her way to Master Fu's shop and tried to contact her kwami to no avail.
Upon waking up Master Fu, she saw the guardian live his nightmare and was told to transform but couldn't. And was informed by Tikki that the plan didn't work, afterwards they transformed to find Sandboy. Despite her best efforts with Cat Noir, she was hit with the villain's sand causing Ladybug to live her nightmare being powerless. While being protected by Cat Noir she found that he didn't have the same fear she did but instead saw an evil version of herself out to get him. But with some quick thinking Sandboy was defeated and she asked the young boy what happened explaining he had nightmare from scary movie and was akumatized by Hawk Moth.
Before returning the boy home she asked Cat Noir about his nightmare and was relieved he didn't think she was evil calling her the girl of his dreams. She returned to Master Fu taking responsibility for what happened along with Tikki and Wayzz. Tikki also apologized to her for failing but Marinette comforted her understanding that she had good intentions and will always have her trust as they embraced each other.
In "Catalyst", after dealing with a late night akumatized villain, Marinette and Tikki returned home and detransformed. But just as the two went to sleep they were instantly woke up and was informed it was Heroes' Day. Sometime later Tikki helped Marinette bake the macarons she promised for her Heroes Day good deed but when Marinette suggested using her powers. Tikki gently reminded her that her powers as Ladybug weren't meant for personal gain, however after shortly arriving at the school. The two notice the school being attacked by a swarm of red akumas and transformed after dealing with Vanisher they detransformed and went to Master Fu's shop. Once again when Marinette was offered to choose an ally seeing the seriousness of the situation Tikki suggested using all the jewels but seeing that there was little time Marinette only took the Fox, Bee, and Turtle Miraculouses. Afterwards, they transformed into Ladybug upon finding Nino and Alya she called upon their help again and apologized for revealing their identities and met up with Cat Noir and Queen Bee.
In "Mayura", despite the team putting up a good fight and after summoning a Lucky Charm Ladybug and Cat Noir lost their allies as well as about to detransform back. But thanks to Cat Noir using Cataclysm on the ground below them the duo escaped, afterwards she gave Tikki a macaroon and expressed doubt on how to beat Hawk Moth. After receiving encouragement from Cat Noir, being found by the army Marinette and Tikki retransformed into their Aqua Mode. Resurfacing Ladybug released a swarm of white butterflies to give the people hope and this time with the Paris rebellion's help. On their way to the Eiffel tower she and Cat Noir saw the reason why to keep hope alive the duo managed to corner Hawk Moth. Summoning her Lucky Charm again she received a miraculous box. At first, she believed it was a sign of Hawk Moth's defeat, after hearing his plan about making a wish their jewels Ladybug reminds him with every wish there's a price to pay and wanted to know his wish first.
Closing in on Scarlett Moth, being sympathetic she tells him that it's not too late for him to change and do good with them. However, upon seeing another Scarlett Hawk ready to attack thanks to the charm, she pushed Cat Noir out of the way to discover that the Scarlett Moth they were talking to was just an illusion. Despite battling him two on one she and Cat Noir were defeated but saved by Rena and the others. But their archenemy managed to escape thanks to Mayura despite that the team managed to save the city and returned the Fox, Turtle, and Bee Miraculouses to Master Fu.
Marinette went to a picnic with her friends and nervously told Adrien that he could sit next to her. However, when he had to leave to attend his father charity ball she heard Adrien speak of her kindness and of her helping everyone everyday being called their everyday Ladybug. Moved by Adrien's compliment Marinette worked up the courage to admit her feelings to him by giving him a kiss on the cheek expressing her thanks. As her friends cheered for Marinette was shocked that she stepped in pie as the fireworks went off.
Season 3
In "Chameleon", after hearing what Lila planned to do to Marinette if she exposed her lies. Tikki told Marinette not to let Lila get to her trying to console her, then she warned her of an incoming akuma. Encouraging Marinette she told her that Hawk Moth's power only works when people don't see another way out of them and reminds Marinette that she always finds a way. After the akuma flies away Tikki and Marinette transform into Ladybug to catch before it akumatizes someone. However, the akuma infects Lila turning her into Chameleon, and despite her shape shifting Ladybug and Cat Noir deakumatize her.
When she heard Lila's lies Marinette attempted to expose her Adrien talked her down saying that humiliating her won't set her straight. When everyone returned to Ms. Bustier's class everyone to their original seats, afterwards Marinette was approached by Lila saying they were at war but Marinette calmly walks away saying we'll see.
In "Animaestro", Marinette was watching the new movie trailer about her superhero alter ego. Until she was asked by Tikki if she was going to the premier answered she wasn't going to seek stardom but when Marinette heard that Adrien was going to be there she changed her mind. After Marinette was done talking with her parents Tikki saw her take out a special macaron. Then, the pair went off to the movie showing, in the midst seeing Adrien and Kagami being so close. Marinette was shocked that Chloé knew about Kagami too and became paranoid so much that she went along with her in an effort to stop them from being together.
But when the plan turns into a fiasco, Marinette mentioned that the macaron Thomas had was a passionfruit one leading to her revealing her crush on Adrien. Then things got worse when Thomas Astruc was akumatized into Animaestro, but was praised by Tikki for not listening to Chloé and transformed into Ladybug. However, defeating the animation villain wasn't easy with him constantly changing but thanks to her lucky charm a head camera she and Cat Noir discovered Animaestro's weakness if no one was watching him he stops moving. By telling everyone around them to close their eyes, cutting off the live feed and then with their eyes closed they were able to stop Animaestro.
Returning to the theather, Marinette begged Chloe not to tell Adrien her secret and yet heard her rival refuse to do it. Then, was given Thomas Astruc's movie pass so she could enjoy the event and to her surprise she was sitting next to Adrien hearing him apologize about not trying her macaron but Marinette didn't take it too hard and enjoyed the movie premier.
In "Bakerix", Tikki was watching the unveiling of the new Startrain on the news from Marinette's computer. And yet, she was curious on how the train was going to get to the U.K. when Marinette spoke of the train using a tunnel under the English Channel. Tikki at first thought it was made by a superhero but was told it was made by people with machines and was amazed by how many things people have invented during the last time she had an owner.
Tikki called the sweater Marinette was making for her father Tom's 40th birthday beautiful but when Marinette had trouble figuring out what to get for him, Tikki wasn't worried as she always comes up with something perfect. Noticing the look on her wielder's face Tikki knew she had the idea of having getting Marinette's grandfather and father to make up after finding the address they leave for Rolland's bakery. Arriving there, Tikki was surprised that Marinette was giving so easily but she finally got in posing as a flour delivery girl. And yet, Tikki thought it wasn't the best idea for Marinette pose has someone else unaware how her grandfather would react. However, when Rolland discovered Marinette was his granddaughter he felt betrayed and was akumatized into Bakerix.
Then Tikki and Marinette transformed into Ladybug and along with Cat Noir they followed Bakerix to the Startrain. By using a ketchup bottle and other ingredients to make a non traditional sandwich as a lure and trapping him in a wind turbine, the duo was able to save Marinette's grandfather and have him make up with Tom.
In "Backwarder", soon after Alya and the others leave Tikki and Marinette approached by Wayzz telling them that Master Fu needs help. But remembered the last time Fu called them for help it was about his lost house keys with that Tikki thought it was time that he learned to text and write a note. Upon making it to the Master's shop, she saw the guardian lying in bed after the doctor leaves, she was that Master Fu chose Marinette to be new guardian aware he won't live forever. Also in picking up his medications, Tikki and Marinette find out that Master Fu has a sweetheart for someone else.
However with three letters and little time Tikki advised Marinette to choose but to have enough time for everything they transformed into Ladybug. Arriving at the train station they detranformed after Marinette dropped off the "letter" for Adrien, Tikki praised her for taking the plunge. However, due to an accidental letter mix-up Master Fu's friend Marianne Lenoir was akumatized into Backwarder and she and Marinette transformed into Ladybug. Using a pipe and have Cat Noir struck with the villainess' powers they were able to destroy the brooch and save Ms. Lenoir. After giving her the correct Tikki and Marinette watched Master Fu and Marianne talking and wondered why he wouldn't express his love to her and when Marinette said the time wasn't right. Then, she asked about her doing the same thing with Adrien that's when Marinette answered she'll have to find out if she's still alive tomorrow and Tikki goes with her to school the next day.
In "Gamer 2.0", with the help of Tikki; Marinette was swamped with a multitude of things until she was advised by Tikki to take a break but refused with everything being due tomorrow. Until, she was asked by her father to join them for video game date despite wanting to she refused and continued working until she fell asleep. Then, the next day continuing to be swamped with so many things Marinette heard that Max had a new game to test and like everyone else she turned down Max's offer. Until she was interrupted by a broadcast from Gamer who wanted to play with that she transformed into Ladybug.
Meeting up with Cat Noir, Gamer invited them in but aware that it might be a trap the duo remained in contact. Once the rules were explained Ladybug as the Mime defeated Gamer 2.0 easily and was expected to be released until he that she and Cat Noir had to defeat all the villains. After the first few rounds Ladybug was struggling believing she forget how to play, by watching Cat Noir and being reminded it was alright to have fun she started to enjoy herself. One by one heroes managed to beat them all but for them to defeat Gamer they had to fight each other. Having no other choice but refusing to fight Ladybug, watched in shock as the kitty sacrificed himself by elimination. During the final fight along with a few accessories including Cat Noir's ring and a bag of flour Ladybug defeated Gamer and freed everyone.
Outside of the stadium, she asked Cat Noir how does he still have fun and heard that he has the most fun when with her. Returning home, Marinette brought Max with her telling her parents about his new game and after experiencing today she decided to join them.
In "Weredad", after dealing with Gigatitan again Tikki became disappointed with Marinette for lying about her feelings towards Cat Noir after Marinette's father was going to set up a breakfast between them. While waiting for the hero the next day Tikki asked Marinette what will she do if he does show up and yet she was reminded that he was in love with Ladybug. However, the kwami ruled out the possibility of Cat Noir actually being in with Marinette for real because of Ladybug's several rejections. Soon she saw Cat Noir coming and told Marinette not to doubt the hero's love of macrons.
Then, Tikki listened to Marinette rambling on about what to do and asked for her help but gave her wielder a dissatisfied look. After the date Tikki was informed that Cat Noir was still in love with Ladybug and yet Marinette's convincing act in front of her parents led to Tom's akumatization. Even worse she and Marinette ended up separated making her way out she discovered her wielder was trapped high up in a prison maze of thorn vines. Despite hearing Marinette due to the prison being magical, it prevented Tikki from finding her. When Marinette plucked the akumatized rose from it's pedestal the thorn maze started to fall from the sky. Upon being reunited Tikki and Marinette finally transformed and by making a hang glider from a sailboat they were able to save Tom and Cat Noir.
In "Silencer", after Luka was akumatized into Silencer because Bob Roth stole everything from the Kitty Section band and threatened Marinette. Tikki heard of Luka's confession to her wielder, in the bathroom she began to suspect that those were his true feelings for Marinette. Nonetheless, Tikki and Marinette transformed into Ladybug but the first confrontation led to the heroine being muted by the villain. With Cat Noir's help and a fake Lucky Charm the duo tricked Silencer into activating the real one; with a vacuum cleaner and Cat Noir destroying Silencer's helmet with Cataclysm they deakumatized Luka. As well as got Bob to admit that he stole everything from Kitty Section on live television. After Bob tried to save face by letting the band perform but before they do Luka admitted the same love confession to Marinette when he was akumatized. When he finished Tikki admitted it was the most beautiful love confession she has heard in her whole life.
In "Oni-Chan", as Marinette chased after Lila and Adrien to the Agreste mansion, Tikki tried to tell her to be more trustful towards Adrien as like them he knew the truth about Lila. When she heard Lila denying the possibility of humiliating Marinette and she wanted to transform out of retaliation, but Tikki halted her from doing so. Shortly after Lila's photo for attention caused Kagami's akumatization, she allowed Marinette to transform into Ladybug.
However catching Oni-Chan was going to be tricky with her constantly teleporting everywhere Lila was. That's when Ladybug found out that Lila's horn acted as a beacon and after being tied by the heroine's own Lucky Charm a hose Ladybug decided to use it to her advantage. By bringing Lila close and answering the villain's call they switched places and in doing so Ladybug and Cat Noir stopped Oni-Chan and saved Lila.
In "Miraculer", after dealing with Destroyer and Marinette's conversation, Tikki advised Marinette to talk to Chloé as Ladybug knowing she will only listen to her alter ego. But talking to Chloé was going to be a lot harder when Sabrina was akumatized into Miraculer. With the whole team on deck they were able to stop Miraculer, keep the Bee Miraculous safe and have Chloé come to an understanding. The next day, when Marinette voiced concerns hoping she didn't hurt Chloé’s feelings too bad. Tikki comforted her by saying it was the right thing by protecting Chloé they were protecting themselves and everyone else which was the duty of being a heroine.
In "Oblivio", during Marinette's class field trip when Alya and Nino were akumatized into Oblivio, she and Tikki transformed into Ladybug. However, their first fight with Oblivio resulted in Ladybug using her Lucky Charm and being struck by the villain. While in the elevator she woke up not remembering who she was let alone her partner (Cat Noir) but felt like they were suppose to know each other. But they both became alarmed of their jewelry beeping and noticed a pair of strange creatures appearing (their kwamis). However, she was scared of them and hid behind Adrien but upon hearing that Tikki was in the same condition as well as being very hungry Marinette felt sympathetic towards her seeing it best to stay together.
Upon noticing that the elevator was collapsing they tried to escape and managed thanks to their kwamis. The amnesic pair tried to find a way out of the building but all the exits were blocked then hearing that a villain was after them hiding in the bathroom. The duo tried to recap what happened, after Marinette fed Tikki a macaron she noticed her ID tag in her bag remembering her name and was greeted by Adrien (who remembered his name). Marinette began to realize that they still had their phones but were locked, hearing Oblivio coming for them they hid in the stall and escaped through the air vent and admired Adrien's compliment about her creativity.
Moving to another part of the building they resumed their phone problem. After unlocking her phone Marinette called her mother; from her and eying a poster of them dressed as they were earlier. She discovered they were the were the heroes and afterwards explained the situation to Adrien. Aware of her identity as a hero Marinette figured that they must known about each other's identities eying the many pictures of Adrien in her phone and showing each other they believed that they were a couple. Despite that Oblivio was closing in on them again by having another diversion they manage to escape believing even without their powers they made a great team.
From her phone Marinette learned what happened earlier and saw she left a message for herself, contacting Master Fu they figured out how to restore their powers. Upon seeing Oblivio's giant bubble and transforming again she didn't feel any different and while studying the user's guide she accidently activated her powers receiving a tea pot. Before facing Oblivio she was halted by Adrien believing they were stronger together but noticing that he was powerless without Plagg she wanted him out of harms way understanding her feelings for him. Leaving to fight Ladybug does a quick recap of her powers despite getting the hang of it she was cornered by Oblivio until Cat Noir tried to rescue her but were cornered again.
Thanks to Plagg's return both heroes were back in action they defeated Oblivio. Curious on what to do about the remains of his power Ladybug informed Cat Noir that she had a second power allowing her to revert everything back to normal. Shocked he asked her if they were going to remember any of this and sadly answers they won't. Realizing they'll forget being in love, Ladybug allows them to share a kiss and embrace before their memories were restored. However once everything was fixed they ask Nino and Alya if they seen Oblivio and answered that it was them. Being reminded of Cat Noir's good couple remark she told him that she was in love with someone else, seeing Alya's photo of them she freaked out about everyone seeing it. Was once again told her they were meant to be together and that she was only one didn't see it, but scolded Cat Noir saying this conversation was not over. Afterwards Marinette and her class heard of Alya and Nino's explaination and apology for what happened.
Returning home Marinette was still freaking out about kissing Cat Noir and wondered how that happened, with Tikki believing that she still had things to learn about him.
In "Party Crasher", when Party Crasher crashed Adrien's party; Tikki and Marinette transformed into Ladybug. However, she along with Marinette end up being caught by the villain until they were freed by a new ally King Monkey. Along with their allies they were able to defeat Party Crasher and save Wayhem.
In "Christmaster", after watching Nino take his little brother Chris home, Tikki asked Marinette why she lied about being Santa's helper. Marinette said that she didn't want him to know about the gifts hopefully that Chris would learn patience too. Then afterwards, Tikki helped Marinette make her next gift for Adrien until they both fell asleep. And yet, was surprised to see that it was snowing outside and that there was an army of toys everywhere, hearing Marinette believe it was a dream. Tikki pulled her hair telling her it wasn't and transformed into Ladybug along with Cat Noir the duo fought against Christmaster's army of toys. By striking a deal with the young villain's ultimate gift on the line, Ladybug willfully gets the akumatized object and returned everything to normal. When Marinette had to babysit Chris again Tikki pushed her to be honest and was proud of her for doing so.
In "The Puppeteer 2", Marinette was babysitting Manon until she was called by Alya about being invited to the Wax Museum. On the way there she was shocked that Nino found out about her crush on Adrien but was informed that Alya didn't tell him. Heard of Alya's plan to leave her alone to talk with him in which Marinette didn't feel comfortable with it, which continued while the she and Adrien were in the wax making room. Nervously telling him that he wasn't a good friend hurrying to the bathroom believing that everything wasn't going well because she was afraid of rejection. So Marinette was advised by Tikki to be cool and calm like her alter ego upon leaving she discovered Adrien's statue.
However, that would have to wait when Manon was reakumatized into Puppeteer but this time being able to control the wax figurines and yet the two transformed. By making a forgery of the villain's wand the duo was able to deakumatize Manon. Returning home, when Tikki heard that Adrien had a crush on another girl but aware of his identity she advised Marinette not to give up on Adrien yet.
In "Stormy Weather 2", after hearing Marinette possibly agree with Chloé about not changing Tikki thought otherwise believing that she had changed a lot since the beginning of the school year. Reminding Marinette of all the times she spent with Adrien albeit some of them were awkward but in the end she admits that Adrien had become a true friend. When Marinette admits about her ability to talk to him except about her feelings Tikki accepted that it was better nothing. Soon when Stormy Weather was on the loose again she and Marinette transformed into Ladybug.
Even with Stormy Weather's increased power the duo still managed to defeat her. Afterwards, Tikki encouraged Marinette to drop off the notes for Adrien and when she did Tikki was happy to see an improved Marinette.
In "Timetagger", Marinette was at the park along with Alya as they were watching Ella, Etta, and Chris. Soon after she noticed that Mr. Ramier was akumatized again for the 24th time and left under the excuse of helping her father taste test a new macaron flavor but was commented by Tikki that it wasn't her best one. Regardless they transform into Ladybug and make quick work of him afterwards she and Cat Noir were treated to ice cream by Mr. Ramier for the trouble. But soon they had to deal with another villain from the future Timetagger.
But were short on time, recharging in lavatory at the Lourve; Marinette expressed doubt on how to defeat Timetagger, but Tikki assured her that every problem has a solution and retransformed. Then, she and Cat Noir bumped into Alix who had a message through her family watch with it saying, "Dig deep into past and you'll find the rabbit's burrow". With Cat Noir's joke in mind, the trio heads off to the Eygptian Exhibit after checking a hollow obelisk, the cat used Cataclysm revealing a future Miraculous holder named Bunnix inside. From her, Ladybug learns that she was apart of her's and Cat Noir's team of heroes in the future explaining that she was the heroine of the last resort coming to the rescue when everyone else fails including them. Shocked they were both informed by Bunnix that in the future that one of her partner's cataclysms will damage her jewel, being handed the damaged Rabbit Miraculous.
And yet, Ladybug wondered what they were going to do without it but to her surprise she saw that Alix's watch was actually the Rabbit Miraculous in camoflague mode and that Bunnix was Alix's future self. However, knowing this left her more confused as she never gave either of them the jewel until Bunnix confirms one day she would even moreso being aware that Bunnix was from the future. Ladybug believed that she knew how to beat Timetagger however due to the aged heroine being in a stone slumber for so long she could barely remember anything except for her younger self playing a vital role. As they left to fight Timetagger on their way out they discovered that the villain had sent more people into the past therefore messing up the timeline. Seeing the damage Ladybug believed that she wasn't very powerful in the future until Bunnix told her the opposite about becoming the greatest leader and hero ever. Realizing her status in the future Ladybug wondered how she'll ever get to be like that and Bunnix answers by growing up.
But once outside, the team had seen the damage and despite that they were ready to face Timetagger but was told by Bunnix to stay put. During the confrontation both she and Cat Noir witnessed Bunnix's mastery over her powers and to stop the hero from doing anything foolish. Believing that Timetagger was beaten Ladybug and the others bid their friend goodbye, however the fight wasn't over. As it dragged on she realized Bunnix needed help and summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a notepad, putting on the act of giving up she asks someone for a pen wanting to write an apology note to her future self (but drew a plan instead). Still putting on the act, she told Bunnix to return to the future when she refused Ladybug told her to trust her and Cat Noir it's time to surrender giving him a wink about her plan.
She smiled when Timetagger was where he needed to be and with the help of their future selves the group defeated him. When Bunnix returns for him, she was surprised that the villain was Future Chris and complimented by herself saying they'll always come through and bids Bunnyx goodbye. With the damage repaired she tells Alix they'll see each other soon and yet, sometime later she and Cat Noir fought and defeated Mr. Pigeon again. While doing so, she made a call to Alya about not being able to babysit but was happy she found someone else. This time even though they didn't find a solution to stop Mr. Ramier's akumatization they knew they would next time. Upon hearing Cat Noir suggest that Mr. Ramier get attach to another animal, they take their leave, while walking she listens to him talking about everything Bunnix had told them.
In "Ikari Gozen", Marinette and her friends were participating in the Friendship Day Games, she was praised by Tikki for figuring out the first clue. But shrieked when she saw Kagami as her new friend aware that she too had a crush on Adrien. Believing that Kagami would take all the credit for winning the contest Marinette wanted to back out but was convinced by Tikki to give him a chance. Rather than win the contest Marinette decided to sabotage it so they'd lose.
During the event, she was asked weird questions from Kagami while at the same time voicing her frustations to Alya about being paired with her. For the next part she and Kagami swapped their phones, still filled jealously towards her Marinette looked inside her phone despite Tikki's protest. Upon seeing it Marinette discovered that it had no other contacts except for her mother's and Kagami was using app on how to make friends. Feeling guilty she attempted to find her and apologize but upon reuniting Marinette saw it was too as Kagami saw her messages. Hearing Kagami's phone, she attempted to talk things over with her mother, but when she heard her being akumatized over the phone. Marinette attempts to hide her but were easily found and Kagami was held prisoner realizing she was wrong about her. Marinette transforms determined to save her friend, once explaining the situation to Cat Noir, Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a movie ticket, racing to the cinema she was surprised to see Master Fu and once again was allowed to a Miraculous along with a trusted ally taking the Dragon Miraculous.
Reuniting with her partner they knew that the akuma was in her bokken but had to bring down Ikari Gozen's guard first. In summoning another charm this time using a box of bathbombs she sends them along with the Dragon Miraculous' Kagami's way. Seeing her appear as Ryoku, Ladybug tried to tell her that Longg should've informed her about the plan, but was aware that she didn't listen and during the fight she saw Cat Noir get captured. Regrouping she heard Ryoku apologize for her hastiness and believes she wasn't worthy to work with them until she retorted saying that failing on the first try was no reason to quit and still needing her she advised them to work together telling her the plan.
This time with Ryoku following along the trio were able to deakumatize Kagami's mother, and included her in their trademark pound it. After she receives the Dragon Miraculous back, Ladybug sadly tells her that she can't have the Miraculous again. At first Kagami believed wasn't good enough until Ladybug told her otherwise. Now that Hawk Moth knows her identity she told her that keeping one's identity was very important because it will lead to Kagami's loved ones being in danger. But when Kagami mentions about not having many friends, Ladybug tells her when it comes to friends it isn't about quantity but quality.
After returning the Dragon Miraculous to Master Fu, Marinette meets up with Kagami despite losing the contest she opts to go out with her for orange juice if she still wanted to in which Kagami agreed. She also heard Kagami mention of Adrien's opinion about her being a good friend and the two walk off together.
In "Reflekdoll", after finishing an akumatized villain, Ladybug talked about their respective roles as a team with Cat Noir about her being the serious one and him being of being the humorous one. Shortly after that she went off to school but due to one of their classes being cancelled Marinette and her friends were let out earlier. Tikki advised Marinette not to take off her Miraculous for the photoshoot. However, Marinette ignored her warning, but was given the Miraculous for safe keeping. After Juleka was re-akumatized, Tikki was with Plagg, and seems to be unaware of the situation at first. Shortly after, they become aware and Tikki expressed worry about not finding their owners but was told to find their miraculous first. When Plagg finds the ring first she was assured that everything would be fine. After she found the earrings Tikki started looking for Marinette but saw that she had Cat Noir's ring. Came across Reflekta copy looking for Plagg and quickly figured out that the copy was Plagg's owner explaining that there was mix up and introduces herself.
He took the earrings and transformed himself into Mister Bug. Once Reflekta was defeated and Reflekdoll destroyed, Adrien gave the miraculous back to Tikki who returns to Marinette, happy to be reunited.
In "Desperada", after Desperada attcked them on the houseboat when Marinette asked why she gave Adrien the guitar, Tikki replied that Marinette has a troubled heart. After escaping Desperada with Luka and Adrien and summoning her lucky charm receiving a gong the two detransform and leave for Master Fu's shop. Tikki then, saw Marinette take the Snake Miraculous retransform and with the help of their ally Viperion and Cat Noir destroying the villain's vantage point the trio was able to stop Desperada and save everyone.
In "Ladybug", after Marinette nearly gets akumatized by Hawk Moth because Lila's deception got her expelled from school. In her room, she was warned by Tikki of what could've happened if her akumatization was finished, refusing to tell Hawk Moth or Lila get away with this she heard that Marinette was going to her innonce. Agreeing Tikki advised her to talk Alya noticing that she resisted being akumatized due to still believing in Marinette. While working at the bakery from the news they noticed Mayura fighting Ladybug but knowing it was one of Mayura's traps Tikki and Marinette transformed into Ladybug and went to save Cat Noir. After explaining to the hero that that the Ladybug imposter was actually a sentimonster, using a fork Ladybug gained control of the creature but instead of destroying her she asked for her help.
But before the trio could get the Peacock Miraculous, the Ladybug sentimonster was destroyed and soon the duo fought against Hawk Moth until their fight ended in a stalemate. And yet both sides valued their partners more knowing they could get their enemies Miraculous another day.
In "Startrain", after a late night fight; Marinette returned the Fox Miraculous to Master Fu until she was reminded by Tikki about her upcoming field trip to see Big Ben in London. She told him of their trip but Marinette knew she couldn't because of Hawk Moth until Master Fu gave them a way to go by taking the Horse Miraculous with them in case of emergency. The next day, on their way to the train station, Marinette saw Adrien believing this was going to be a great field trip. When Max's mom Claudie offered them an exclusive look into the operator cab which, she, Alya and Max agreed too but was shocked that Alya started another blog. During the train ride she sat next to Alya and became so sleepy that she let out a yawn so loud that left her embarrassed.
Then, she was asked by Alya about what she did last night, she passed it off as trying to think of ways to tell her feelings to Adrien. But was advised just to be herself during the ride Marinette fell asleep on Alya's shoulder. Soon enough unknown to her she was sleeping on Adrien's shoulder which she didn't notice until she briefly woke up seeing him asleep as well. However, Marinette was quickly woken up when an akuma unknowingly snuck aboard the train and akumatized Max's mother into the titular villain sending everyone up into space. Then she asked Max to convince his mother to turn the train around but when she refused, Marinette and everyone tried to ambush her but ended up separated using the chance she transformed.
With having to capture the akuma and teleport everyone back to earth at the same time the duo called upon their newest allies Pegasus using his powers of teleportation and Markov. The group battled their way through the train and made their way back to earth.
In "Feast", Tikki and Marinette went to Master Fu's under the worry that Alya figured out the secret of the Order of the Guardians. But she and the others were surprised that Master Fu was afraid of a statue to which he explained was a dormant sentimonster he created long ago out of his hunger and anger. So much so that the guardians and the temple were destroyed with him being the soul survivor. Realizing what Hawk Moth would do Tikki was returned to her Miraculous and placed back in the Miracle Box. But thanks to Marinette showing her bravery in the face of danger Tikki was reunited with her owner and they transformed into Ladybug. Armed with a metal detector the heroes dove into the belly of the beast they were able to destroy the sentmonster and restored the Order of the Guardians.
In "Kwamibuster", Marinette was having a lecture in Ms. Bustier's class until she and everyone heard a commotion downstairs until her teacher redirected their attention. During the night she was writing in her diary, upon noticing Tikki the kwami believed that Marinette didn't want to her read her secrets but she retorts that they have no secrets between them and fell asleep.
However she receieved a slight scalding from Marinette at school the next day about keeping secrets and Tikki didn't want to bother her wielder with Kwami foolishiness. Upon hearing Marinette figure out that Plagg was there too, she tried to calm her nerves but upon seeing her owner still disappointed Tikki apologized. And yet, Marinette didn't take it too hard as Tikki was trying to protect her completely aware of what would happen if their identities got out. Seeing that their little adventure caused Ms. Mendeleiev's akumatization the two transforming into Ladybug but after being struck by Kwamibuster, Tikki was separated from Marinette. Then, saw Plagg trying to get out but told him to save his energy and when he opted to Cataclysm she told him it was a bad idea as he couldn't control it. Tikki was asked if she had a plan retorted she didn't but trusted that her owner did have a plan.
Seeing more of her kwami brothers and sisters being captured she at first believed they were doomed but seeing her wielder as (Multimouse) she proclaimed her as the best then fused her powers with Mullo becoming "Multibug". After setting the other kwamis free, Kwamibuster was defeated, the identities of the heroes were safe and the jewels were returned. Afterwards, Tikki apologized saying if Marinette had to give up being Ladybug because of her, then she wouldn't forgive her. And yet, she was comforted by her wielder understanding that everyone makes mistakes and was a true friend Marinette could rely on.
In "Cat Blanc", hearing the conversation among Marinette's friends Tikki asked Marinette if she was really going to do this. But upon being denied entry into the mansion and hearing her wielder want to transform, Tikki once again tried to warn Marinette that her powers must not be used for personal gain. However, she agreed under the notion of being quick but by taking too long as Ladybug and being spotted by Adrien. A serious mistake was caused leading to the duo being retrieved by Bunnyx and brought to an alternate future where everything and everyone in Paris was destroyed. Then after defeating an akumatized Cat Noir and by fixing a mistake in the past, Ladybug was able to save him and change the future.
In "Felix", when it was Marinette's turn to say something for Adrien's video care package, Tikki was asked for advice on what to say in situations like this. However, she didn't exactly know what to say because her kind was immortal and don't have any parents but told Marinette to speak from the heart. Afterwards, when Marinette was having second thoughts, Tikki halted her wielder from deleting the video believing that her message could turn Adrien's sad day into a happy one.
However, due to their message being returned with a nasty one caused some of Marinette's friends to be akumatized into the Punisher Trio, Tikki and Marinette transformed Ladybug. After being informed by Cat Noir that the imposter was Adrien's cousin Felix and setting off a chain reaction with a can of whipped cream the duo was able to save him.
In "Heart Hunter (The Battle of the Miraculous - Part 1)", after dealing with Heart Hunter and Marinette on her way to return the Dragon Miraculous, Tikki saw that the place that they met Master Fu as been ransacked. Despite that she tried to assure Marinette that he was fine, unaware that he was captured.
In "Miracle Queen (The Battle of the Miraculous - Part 2)", upon seeing a swarm of hornets coming after them, to escape Tikki activated her Aqua powers and they retransformed into Aquabug. Reuniting with Aqua Noir, the duo discovered that Chloe was akumatized again into Miracle Queen but to make matters worse, all their allies and Master Fu were captured and Hawk Moth was in possession of the Miracle Box. Through the powers of fusion as Snake Noir and Dragon Bug, they were able to save their allies, stop Hawk Moth, Mayura and reclaim the Miracle Box.
