Maino'li is a kwami-like creature who is connected to the Hummingbird Jewel. With their power, Maino'li's wearer can use the necklace to transform into a hummingbird-themed superhero.
Maino'li and their jewel are currently owned by Irupé.
Appearance[]
Maino'li has a blue avian body spreading to her wings and each one has four feathers in a rainbow pattern starting from purple, to pink, orange, and yellow with pink eyes and a yellow curved beak and belly. Along with two blue antennas with white tips at the end and two long tails with greenish-white tail feathers.
Personality[]
Similar to her owner, Maino'li shares Irupé's curiosity about Luka's connection to Ladybug.
History[]
In "Mister Agreste", after Irupé saw Luka being pulled aside by Ladybug, Maino'li asks if Irupé thinks he holds a Miraculous. Irupé is unsure, but suspects that Luka is hiding secrets from her.

- The name Maino'li has no attested origin and can be interpreted in different ways.
- One possible inspiration lies in Guarani terms such as Maino'i or Mainumby, which are associated with the hummingbird in the Mbyá-Guarani worldview.
- Another hypothesis is that it is an original creation, stylized to resemble South American Indigenous names.
