The Liberty is a boat that is used and owned by Anarka Couffaine, the mother of Juleka Couffaine and Luka Couffaine. She serves as the residence of the Couffaine family.
In "Captain Hardrock", after Agent Roger banned her from playing at the National Music Festival, Anarka was akumatized by Hawk Moth into Captain Hardrock, transforming the boat along with her.
In "Crocoduel", after she argued with Jagged about their separation, Anarka was reakumized into Captain Hardrock, once again transforming the boat along with her.
In "Action", the boat was converted into a wastewater treatment plant to try to clean her of the plastic objects that polluted her, especially Bertrand King's Morpho fans.
Appearance[]
Normal[]
The main body.
The Liberty is large and very colorful. The port and starboard sides are painted in many colors. On the bow you can see the painted face of an unidentified creature with green eyes, red lips and protruding teeth. There are eight round portholes on both sides, located just above the water surface. The boat has two masts. On one of them Anarka hung a sign with the word "Liberty" in English. One of the deck segments, near the bow, has no roof and is intended for a stage and seating. In the second segment of the vessel, near the side, there is a covered terrace with glass windows, a passage room with orange walls, a control room and a balcony with yellow floor and railings. The deck is decorated with green and pink graffiti. The seating area is equipped with a light green carpet decorated with a crossbones pattern.
The covered glass terrace.
At the stern there is a glass covered terrace. The wall structure is orange and yellow. The room is equipped with a sofa and an armchair made of dark wood. The furniture is covered with bright floral fabrics. There are many plants around that are planted in pots, such as a fern and a cactus. In the center of the terrace you can see a tree that exceeds the roof in height. There is a stage at the front of the boat. Right next to the terrace there is a black table with a DJ console and a sound system. The farthest space is occupied by a white stage with a black carpet, on which all the instruments are placed. All around there is a white metal structure from which black speakers and lamps hang. In the left corner there is an orange speaker several meters high. Garlands were hanging everywhere. Flower pots are hanging on both sides of the stage. In the lounge area, right at the bow, there is a wooden table in the shape of a reel and two fabric loungers. On the sides there are the instrument slots and a sound system. A basketball hoop is hung on the mast.
The control room.
Above the terrace is the wheelhouse, accessed by stairs from the bridge. The structure of the room is made of wood. There are windows on each wall. The room has a steering wheel and a built-in orange compass. On one of the shelves is a metal figurine of a hand made in the sign of the Horned Hand. From the rear window of the control room you can see the balcony. This small space was developed for entertainment purposes. In the center is a ping-pong table and near the railing is a deck chair.
The living room and kitchen.
In the lower part of the ship are the cabins with the rooms for the residents and a lounge. The rooms are separated only by walls and pillars. The floor and ceiling of each room are the same: colored and short panels. After going down the stairs you enter directly into the living room. The walls of the room are cream colored, with red wallpaper at the bottom and a black and white checkered border. Right next to the entrance is a kitchen area that resembles a bar. There you can see the refrigerator, sink, kitchen appliances and dishes. On the highest shelf are a microwave oven and cups. The whole thing is separated by a bar table with a wooden top and four bar chairs of different colors. Against the wall to the right of the kitchen is a video game console called a Blasterotron. In front of it is a corner sofa with blue upholstery and a wooden table in the shape of a reel, on which a potted flower is placed. Next to it is also a speaker that serves as a seat. There are many different posters hanging on the walls. In the room are also many small things, such as a surfboard and covers, as well as various instruments: drums, keyboard, percussion, guitar.
Luka and Juleka's room[]
Luka and Juleka's room.
Further on is Luka and Juleka's room. In Luka's part of the room, one of the walls is blue, while in front of it is a light wall with orange stripes. Between the pillars and the walls, you can see empty spaces from another room. Luka has a single wooden bed with white sheets, under which is a spacious drawer. Above the bed, there is a light bulb and a wooden cabinet. On the left side of the wall, there is a brightly colored floral curtain. Between the windows, the boy hung a poster of his idol, Jagged Stone, and a collection of guitar picks. The second part of the room is Juleka's room. The walls are decorated with purple patterned wallpaper, while on the floor is a purple patterned carpet. Juleka's section is decorated similarly to her brother's. There is a bed with white sheets, a wardrobe, and a floral curtain on one of the walls. On the locker are the class photos taken in "Reflekta". There are two lamps hanging on the wall and on the ceiling. Also, right next to the bed is a purple nightstand with three drawers. Next to it is a dark wooden table that serves as a desk and a pink chair. On the table are a blue pad, a pink laptop, a lamp, her doll, toys and various accessories, such as a hair clip.
Akumatized[]
The akumatized Liberty.
Under the effect of Anarka's akumatization into Captain Hardrock, the Liberty became a real pirate ship with a red hull and whose appearance from the sky resembled a guitar. She had a red bowsprit with white parts with black strings, several decks, one of which had cannons. The rear deck was raised and had a rudder. The rear part of the ship was equipped with thrusters that resembled fence deflectors, more or less large, with one very large on each side.
Finally, this ship had a large gray-white sail also with speaker deflectors, but also a large stylized white skull symbol with a pair of gray-white glasses and a hairstyle reminiscent of her owner.
Abilities[]
Normal[]
Following the modifications made by the Resistance, the Liberty was equipped with a full-fledged wastewater treatment plant to collect waste, especially plastic, from the Seine. However, the excess waste, due in particular to the Morpho fans from Bertrand King's company, caused this system to explode, rendering it unusable.
Akumatized[]
Under the effect of Anarka's akumatization into Captain Hardrock, the Liberty acquired many powers. Under the orders of her captain, she became capable of sending chains to very specific targets to imprison them, firing cannonballs capable of breaking large bridges, as well as sound waves.
During Anarka's second akumatization into Captain Hardrock, the Liberty also gained the ability to fly.
