Trivia[]
- The film's art style and poster is similar to the Ladybug PV. Additionally, the trailer for the film uses clips from the Ladybug PV as well.
- This is the second time the art style has been used, after a DVD cover seen in "Sapotis".
- In Simpleman, at least one art difference between the movie and the PV can be seen: PV Hawk Moth is unmasked when talking to The Mime, but movie Hawk Moth has his cowl on.
- In real life, the movie poster is designed by Marina Tsuzuki, a concept artist of Method Animation.[1]
- The synopsis of the movie is: "Their mission: to capture the Akumas of the mysterious Hawk Moth who has the ability to transform Parisians into super-villains. Thanks to their kwamis, little magical creatures, the two teenagers transform into superheroes: Ladybug and Cat Noir. Will they succeed in saving Paris from this terrible threat?"[2]
- The movie is recommended for people that are 12+.[2]
- The movie lasts for 2 hours and 32 minutes.[2]
- The director is based on Thomas Astruc, the creator of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
- In "Rocketear", it's revealed that the film has a sequel, Ladybug and Cat Noir 2, featuring Rena Rouge.
- In "Simpleman", three backpacks of certain heroes (Ladybug, Rena Rouge and Cat Noir specifically) appear in the same art style as the film, meaning that the film now has merchandise.
