Le Sorbonne is a cinema located near the Sorbonne, in the Place de la Sorbonne, in Paris.
In "Animaestro", the cinema hosted the world premiere of Thomas Astruc's movie, Les aventures de Ladybug & Chat Noir.
Appearance[]
External[]
The external facade is black, and has three signs, two in red that recall its nature, and another in white that gives it its name.
Around its signs there are yellow stars with black interiors, but also several posters of the films being shown, next to or between the signs of the film in the foreground.
The entrance consists of a simple double French window that leads directly to the cinema ticket office.
Internal[]
After going to the box office, spectators find themselves inside a large room with predominantly purple walls on which numerous film posters are framed. There is also a counter for drinks and desserts, tables and red armchairs. From this room there is also access to a small internal terrace on which tables have been set up.
One of the cinemas itself is rectangular and has red seats with blue sides. It also has two emergency exits, one of which leads to a staircase leading to the roof of the building.
