Kwamis are the deuteragonistic faction of Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie. They are divine, spirit-like beings who give certain powers to people with Miraculouses, transforming them into animal-themed super-powered beings.
Generally, kwamis are small, being around 10 centimeters (4 inches) in height, with large heads, big eyes, tails in different sizes, and tiny bodies. They have arms and legs, and unlike their show counterparts, they don't lack fingers and toes and are capable of grabbing things. The animal theme that they display is reflected in their Miraculous.
They can also take on the real appearances of the animals that reflect their Miraculouses.
Abilities[]
Just like their original counterparts the kwamis can fly and levitate as well as have great amounts of strength for their size as Tikki was able to pull Marinette to a mirror just by her finger. They even have intangibility allowing them to pass through solid matter. They also can control their Miraculouses while laying dormant inside. But they can also transform into their connected Miraculous and visa versa as shown by Tikki. The kwamis also have the ability to transform into the animals their connected Miraculous are named after such as Tikki transforming into an actual ladybug and Plagg into an actual cat.
Miraculous Transformation[]
Just like their original counterparts the kwamis can also enact the miraculous transformations of their owners either waiting for them to say transformation words but unlike original counterparts they can do and undo it themselves by entering their wielder's hearts or leaving them. They can also speak with their owners while transformed or even if their miraculous are taken by someone else such as Tikki being able to communicate with Marinette despite being taken by Hawk Moth.
Weaknesses[]
Despite them having a greater influence while in their jewels their intangibility doesn't pass to their jewels as Tikki and Plagg went under the door in Master Fu instead of through it.
