This article is about a Ladybug Miraculous holder in ancient Egypt. You may be looking for another Ladybug. |
“ | I know I'm not 5,000 years old, so... who exactly was that Ladybug in the papyrus? | ” |
Khepri[1] was an Egyptian woman who lived around 5,000 years ago.
She was a past holder of the Ladybug Miraculous, transforming into La Déesse Coccinelle[2] (The Ladybug Goddess), a ladybug-themed superhero when Tikki inhabited the earrings.
She stopped Pharaoh Akhenaten[2] from sacrificing an innocent woman to the sun god Ra in a ritual of one hundred mummies in order to resurrect his deceased wife, Princess Nefertiti.[2] There is depiction of her and Tutankhamun's ritual as hieroglyphics on an ancient papyrus in the ancient Egypt exhibit at the Louvre.
In "The Pharaoh", Marinette learns of her existence (and of the long lineage of different Ladybugs throughout history) while preventing the same event that this past Ladybug dealt with, the akumatized villain Pharaoh trying to use a sacrifice to resurrect Nefertiti.
Appearance
As depicted in the hieroglyph, to transform, she owned the Ladybug Miraculous. She also wore a kalarisis with spots on the fabric and collar usekh around her neck, as well as an Egyptian wig.
Personality
Although not much is known about Khepri she would be described as a bit like Sabine protective and clever as she choreographed her events in a papyrus scroll as a warning to protect future generations from those who'd be foolish enough reenact the ritual. And yet shows she was hopeful in case if someone ever was foolish enough to do it another Ladybug would be there to stop it.
Abilities
If this past Ladybug had the same powers are the current Ladybug (Marinette), she had enhanced abilities and the superpowers Lucky Charm and Miraculous Ladybug. She also used the yo-yo, as shown in the hieroglyph.

- There are a few historical differences between the Quantic Universe and the real world.
- She was active and stopped Tutankhamun around 5,000 years ago in the Quantic Universe, however, in the real world, Tutankhamun actually ruled Egypt approximately 3,000 years ago.
- In the real world, Princess Nefertiti was actually the wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten, who ruled Egypt until a couple of years before the ascension of Tutankhamun.
- In the original French dub, the pharaoh that she faced was actually Akhenaten and not Tutankhamun.
