Kazuno is one of the two deuteragonists in Miraculous World: Tokyo - Stellar Force (alongside Miki) and the animated spin-off series Miraculous Stellar Force. He is a student at Kano Academy, a superhero, and member of the Stellar Force. He is the current bearer of the Capricorn Fragment, which allows him to become Capricorn and one of the guardians who possess a fragment of the Stellar Matrix.

Physical Appearance[]
Kazuno is a fair-skinned Japanese teenage boy of short-to-medium height and slender build. He has short messy jet-black hair that sticks out unevenly at the sides, along with a small, split ahoge at the side, its side slightly thicker than the other. His thick bangs frame his face with a piece hanging in the middle. He has thick eyebrows with a zigzag cut at the upper sides. He has round green eyes with a vermilion ring around the pupil.
Civilian Attire[]
Kazuno wears a jet black hoodie with the hood big and surrounding his neck. It has a charcoal gray trim and lighter zipper and zipline, There are charcoal gray lines around the shoulders, angularly going down the torso, and at the sides of the middle pocket. His slightly baggy pants are dull navy and rolled up to the calf with thick lighter cuffs, white socks, dull navy loafers, and lighter soles.
As Capricorn[]
Capricorn wears a jumpsuit shared with his teammates: a black jumpsuit with rectangular-detailed white elbow trim, abdomen, thigh trim, and shins. On his chest is a black four-point star. His lower arms (except his fingers), torso, shoulders, inner thighs, sides of his knees, and feet are all light black with black fingers and rectangular soles. His helmet is black with a light black chin, silver components covering his ears, followed by light black angular rectangles on top with black tips, and a light black pointed component with a black tip and pieces framing his helmet, resembling his forelocks. On his left wrist is his black watch, the Capricorn Sprite.
Personality[]
Described by Miki, Kazuno is kind, smart and altruistic. He is very friendly, evident when he opened up and welcomed Kagami when she came to the academy, who, like Adrien, learned from his friends outside of his parents to reach out. Kazuno did the same for Kagami and one of things he enjoyed was dancing. Similar to Marinette, he is very clumsy. He devotes himself to his friends and is hardworking.
However, after Kagami ended their friendship, Kazuno lost his zeal for the art, despite being close to his friends. When they are fighting as the Stellar Force, Kazuno acts a bit like his star sign, a Capricorn - reserved and always separating himself from the team. On the battlefield, he's not attentive, resulting in Leo chiming in because of his lack of focus. Fortunately, after he reunited with Kagami and learnt her real feelings, Kazuno's passion was restored and he fully integrated himself with the team.

As a Civilian[]
Kazuno is skilled in judo and hand to hand combat, even enough to be on par with Miki and her kickboxing, and what is equally matched by his fighting skills is his dancing.
As Capricorn[]
Capricorn has enhanced physical abilities, such as speed, combat, and agility. With the help of the Capricorn Sprite, he can summon his weapon, which is unknown.

Kazuno has fallen in love with Miki since they were young, but due to Miki's values, Kazuno never dared to confess, keeping to himself.
Kagami Tsurugi/Ryuko[]
Kazuno met Kagami when she attended Kano Academy, from him she learned what real friendship and love is developing a small crush on and feeling the closest to him even though she got along with his other friends being apart of their group chat but never sent a message. However her feelings were not reciprocated as she discovered that Kazuno has feelings for Miki although she accepted it, she couldn't figure out why he was after someone who was tough on everyone including him. However knowing their days of dancing was over due to her leaving to Paris, Kagami wrote how she felt in a letter but due to being unable to cope she told him the opposite parting ways with him, severing their friendship in order to spare herself the pain of being away from her first friend and love.
Regardless, she still left herself apart of their group-chat but still didn't leave a message. Then, soon heard of a superhero group in Tokyo, seeing this as her chance to fix things, along with Marinette, Kagami returns home and as Ryuko, she meets the Stellar Force when a kaiju attacks. Despite breaking things off the way she did with Kazuno, she still cared for him and wanted help the dysfunctional group. After the kaiju was defeated, she easily figured out that Capricorn is Kazuno, which made her feel worse that his team's condition was her fault but with encouragement from Marinette, Kagami finally tells Kazuno, how she truly felt the day she left finally giving him her letter healing the wound she placed on him.

Etymology[]
- The name Kazuno is a combination of Japanese kanji "ka" (か) meaning "beautiful, good, excellent"[2], "zu" (ず) meaning "drawing"[3], and "no" (の) meaning "plain, field"[4].
- Capricorn, Kazuno's hero name, is based on the Capricorn zodiac and constellation, the tenth zodiac sign.[5]

- Kazuno was first revealed in a Variety article about the release of "Miraculous Stellar Force" on Disney+.[6]
- Kazuno is shown to live by himself in a small apartment. It is never revealed he lives alone due to not having any family, or he live on his own in order to attend a school located too far from home with the financial support from his family.
- Kazuno is somehow inspired by Go Kamiya/Sazer Tragos from Chouseishin Gransazer, whereas both represent the Capricorn constellation.
- Kazuno has several traits associated with the Capricorn constellation:
- Kazuno is a devoted friend, hard worker and reserved, traits normally associated to a Capricorn.
- His theme color is black, which can align with what color the Capricorn sign represents, that being gray or black.
- However, the color the Capricorn sign represents can vary between those colors.
- As Capricorn, his helmet appears to have a point on top.
- It could be related to the Capricorn sign in various ways, like the horns of a goat, or a tail since the Capricorn constellation is depicted as a goat with the tail of a fish.
