Karelia is a minor character Miraculous World: Tokyo - Stellar Force and the animated spin-off series Miraculous Stellar Force. She is a student at Kano Academy, superheroine, and member of the Stellar Force. She is the current bearer of the Pisces Fragment, which allows her to become Pisces and one of the guardians who possess a fragment of the Stellar Matrix.

Physical Appearance[]
Karelia is a very tall teenage girl with a muscular build. She has very light skin, widened light silver eyes, and platinum blonde hair styled in a braided ponytail hanging on her left shoulder. Her bangs are also braided and parted in the middle. Her eyebrows are slightly thick.
Civilian Attire[]
Karelia wears a white long-sleeved buttoned top with black strips on top of her arms, and collar, which stops vertically at the right of her chest. She also wears white pants with black stripes at the sides and waistband, white loafers, and a tan bandage on her nose.
As Pisces[]
Pisces wears a jumpsuit shared with her teammates: a black jumpsuit with rectangular-detailed white elbow trim, abdomen, thigh trim, and shins. On her chest is a black four-point star. Her lower arms (except her fingers), torso, shoulders, inner thighs, sides of her knees, and feet are all white with black fingers and rectangular soles. Her helmet is black with a white chin, silver components covering her ears, followed by white angular rectangles on top with black tips, and a model resembling her ponytail. On her left wrist is her white and black watch, the Pisces Sprite.

Etymology[]
- The name Karelia is of Finnish origin. It comes from the name Karjala which is a combination of the Proto-Finnic word "karja" meaning "herd", which was borrowed from the Proto-Germanic wiord "harjaz" meaning "army", and the suffix "-la", meaning "earth".[1] It overall means "herd of the earth".
- Pisces, Karelia's hero name, is based on Pisces zodiac sign and constellation, the twelfth zodiac sign.[4]

- Karelia is somehow inspired by Ai Uozumi/Sazer Pisces from Chouseishin Gransazer, whereas both represent the Pisces constellation.
- Karelia could be associated with the Pisces sign in several ways:
- Her theme color is white, which is a color the Pisces sign can represent.
- However, the Pisces sign is more associated with the color blue or cyan.
- Karelia's name, as mentioned in the etymology, could tie into the titular historical province. Said historical province is said to be rich in fish, lakes, and minerals[5], thus it would fit Karelia to represent the Pisces zodiac.
- Her theme color is white, which is a color the Pisces sign can represent.
