Kamikotized heroes are people (or other sentient beings) transformed into superheroes by the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, with Kamikotization, the good version of the superpower of the Butterfly Miraculous.
Transformation[]
Whenever a person has strong emotions, the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous senses it and can charge a butterfly with Nooroo's power, Transmission, transforming it into kamiko. The kamiko then flies away to the targeted person and possesses an important object that belongs to the person.
Once the object is possessed, it immediately creates a telepathic link between the holder and the other person, allowing them to communicate through a butterfly-shaped light mask that appears in front of their faces.
Once the connection is established, the holder gives them a new name for their superhero identity and explains to the person that they'll give them the ability to accomplish their goals.
When the person agrees, a dark purple ether appears from the possessed object and surrounds the person. Once it recedes, it reveals the victim has transformed into a superhero.
Unlike with akumatized villains, kamikotized heroes are given a feeling of hope by the holder, which allows them to accept the power and convinced to do good with it, either by saving people or fighting villains.
If corrupted by evil, every villain, remembers the cause of their distress and the person who caused it, so they usually try to get revenge. Additionally, some villains, namely Copycat, the Evillustrator, Horrificator, Stoneheart, Syren, Backwarder, Silencer, Oni-Chan, Furious Fu remember the people whom they have romantic feelings for (Ladybug, Marinette (Evillustrator and Silencer), Ivan Bruel, Mylène Haprèle, Lê Chiến Kim, Wang Fu, Adrien, and Marianne Lenoir respectively) and still care for them while transformed.
The Butterfly Miraculous holder can't control them or read their minds either, however they can see through their eyes and sense their feelings, allowing them to see and feel what they do. If he needs to, the holder can control their bodies for a brief amount of time in order to inflict pain on them, typically with this ability being to ensure that the kamikotized superheroes don't abuse of their powers or use them for evil purposes. Hawk Moth, however uses this ability in order to inflict pain on them until they agree to do as he commands.
The holder can revoke the kamiko or akuma, removing the champion's powers. Sometimes he also uses this as a threat against their allies if they start to stray from the path of goodness or when the kamikotized mission is over which makes transformation only temporary. The holder can revoke any kamiko or akuma, with that holder being either a hero or a villain. The holder can if needed transfer the Kamiko or akuma to another champion if the current champion is unable to handle a task with the current powers.
Any sentient creature with emotions can be kamikotized or akumatized, including robots, spirits, and sentimonsters.
The mental connection is dependent on proximity. If the Butterfly Miraculous holder and the champion are too far away from each other, the communication can't be established, and they can't contact the champion or revoke the power.
