History
The Horse Miraculous was created thousands of years ago by an Unnamed mage.
Horses symbolize confidence, endurance, and triumph.
Despite the fact that the Horse Miraculous "concept" was claimed claimed to be Teleportation in Startrain, some official materials stated that the concept is actually Migration, such as the Kwamis book as well as the official Miraculous Ladybug website as of September 2020.[4]
This was later confirmed in "Migration", where it was said that the concept of the Horse Miraculous is Migration.
Their form of sunglasses may be a reference to the fact that some of the earliest recorded instances of sunglasses originate from China, where the lenses were made from polished smoky quartz.
Incidentally, China is the world's largest producer of sunglasses in present day.
The glasses form of the Miraculous could even be a possible reference pun to Dr. Dolittle, since the titled character in the 1967 film gives an old short sighted, working horse a pair of glasses to help him see better.
Similarly to how the Rabbit Miraculous' pocket watch form and blue-white color scheme references the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Disney's animated film version of the story.
As well as the Men in Black movies, where the Agents wear black sunglasses and uses the Neuralyzer, which erases memories and is normally used for alien cover-ups.
In "Mega Leech", the Horse Miraculous has a different design when Ladybug entrusts it to Max.
In "Optigami", Kaalki mentions she was the companion of several glorious heroes, suggesting the Horse Miraculous was used by a number of famous heroes before Max. The specific heroes are so far unknown.
