Gisèle is a minor character season 5 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is the partner of Caline Bustier and the mother of their daughter, Harmonie.

Physical appearance[]
Gisèle is a woman with dark skin, magenta eyes and a dark brown hair formed in locs.
Civilian attire[]
She wears a greyish green T-shirt and grey jeans with a dark purple belt with a metallic buckle with the engraving of a skull with a heart on the forehead and surrounded by flames. She also wears a leather dark purple jacket with fringes at the front, black driving gloves and bright purple block heel shoes.
Personality[]
Unlike Caline who possesses a kinder demeanor and dislikes unnecessary confrontations, Gisèle appears to be more abrasive and confrontational, as she was willing to argue with Olga Mendeleiev, who had become the new principal, about Caline's unfair dismissal. Nevertheless, Gisèle cares very deeply for Caline and is willing to contain her anger for her sake. Her care for Caline is seen after the latter is akumatized into Miss Sans-Cullote, as she tried to stop her from pursuing revenge against Mayor Bourgeois and went after her towards to city hall, happily kissing her when they are reunited after she breaks herself free from Monarch's akumatization.

Gisèle is shown to love and care for Caline very much. After the latter was fired unfairly, Gisèle was willing to confront Ms. Mendeleiev (the new principal) about it, only to stop when Caline asked her not to. After Caline was akumatized into Miss Sans-Cullote, Gisèle became very worried about her, trying without success to stop her. Her care and love for Caline are so strong that she went after her, happily kissing her when they are reunited after she breaks herself free from Monarch's akumatization. She also helps her in the election campaign by handing out leaflets on Place des Vosges.

Before Miraculous New York[]
At some point, Gisèle started having a relationship with Caline Bustier, a teacher at Collège Françoise Dupont. By the time when Caline's class was a day from their trip to New York, Gisèle and her were expecting a baby, with Caline carrying it.
Season 5[]
In "Collusion", after Chloé Bourgeois tricks Olga Mendeleiev into firing Caline from her job, Gisèle comes to Collège Françoise Dupont to pick her up on her motorcycle. She angrily watched as Caline parted ways with her students, who had all gathered at the school's entrance to say goodbye to her. Gisèle then tries to go into the school to try and speak to Olga about her partner's unfair dismissal, but she is stopped by Caline as it won't make any difference.
Later, outside a café near the Sorbonne, Gisèle is having lunch with Caline, who is visibly upset. She then kisses her on the cheek, telling her it would be okay, and then leaves for a few moments. When Gisèle comes back, Caline has been akumatized by Monarch into Miss Sans-Culote, with her trying without success to stop her.
Gisèle then followed Miss Sans-Culotte to the Hôtel de Ville. When she arrives, Caline had already broken herself free from Monarch's control and turned back to normal. With this, Gisèle quickly embraced her and they both shared a passionate kiss. The couple then leaves hand and hand.
In "Confrontation", Gisèle starts helping Caline with her campaign in Paris' mayoral elections. She is seen handing out campaign fillers to people at the Place des Vosges.
In "Re-creation", by the time when one month had passed since the universe was re-created by Gabriel Agreste, Caline had already given birth to her and Gisèle's baby, a girl named Harmonie. Caline had also won the elections, becoming the new mayoress of Paris.

- Gisèle is the fifth new character, after Socqueline Wang, Kouki, A.D.A., and Lila's third mother, to be introduced in season 5.
- Gisèle is a sapphic character, being part of the fifth LGBTQ+ romance pair to appear in the show, after Nathaniel and Marc, Juleka and Rose, Barbara and Olympia, and Zoé and Marinette (despite the latter was shown to be one-sided and eventually became platonic for both parts).
- This also makes Gisele the twelfth LGBTQ+ character overall.
- Gisèle is the third person, after Gina and Marinette, to drive a two-wheeled motor in the series.
- In addition, she is the second person, after Gina, to drive a vehicle that requires a motorcycle license.
- In the Russian release of "Collusion", her and Caline's relationship was censored, with the latter calling the former her sister.
