—Gimmi, "Re-creation" |
Gimmi is a minor yet pivotal character in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. They are the kwami of Reality, and the fusion of Tikki and Plagg in person.
Appearance[]
Gimmi is a large creature that is a pinkish combination of both the kwami of Creation (Tikki) and the kwami of Destruction (Plagg). They have four wings, two on top, and two on the bottom, and they're full of sparkles. They also have five turquoise eyes with no pupils.
Personality[]

Gimmi has a mixture of the personalities of both Tikki and Plagg.
Just like Plagg, Gimmi has a very laid-back attitude, as seen when they greeted Gabriel and wanted to enjoy a conversation with him, becoming very disappointed when Gabriel reveals he just wanted to have his wish granted, while also lamenting that all humans do is complain and only ever call on them to do just that.
Just like Tikki, Gimmi likes to give advice to those who summon them, cautioning them to the consequences of them using their power to grant the wish of their summoners, asking if they are willing to pay the price, even if that price will affect the rest of the world.
Abilities[]
As long as Gimmi is present, the person who summoned them is surrounded by a barrier that cannot be penetrated by anyone on the outside.
Gimmi has the power to grant any one wish to whoever summoned them. However, their wishing power is not without a downside; the universe must remain in balance, so every wish has a price. For example, if a person wished for garden peas to turn red, then strawberries would have to be green.

Trivia[]
- Gimmi is the eighth new character, after Socqueline Wang, Kouki, A.D.A., Lila's third mother, Gisèle, the British TV reporter, and Odile, to be introduced in season 5.
- Their name is very similar to either a contraction of the English phrase "Give me", referencing their ability to grant wishes, or the word "gimmick".
- When Gimmi is present, the floor seems to turn invisible, and the walls and surrounding area get covered with magenta sparkles.
- They are the only known kwami connected to two different Miraculouses, since they are a double Kwami fusion.
- They are also the only kwami who can use their power without catastrophic consequences. The power does bring about the actual end of the world and causes potentially disastrous exchanges to make up for what was changed, but these are elements of the power itself.
- They're the first kwami to be manifested by fusing two kwamis. It is not yet known if there are other kwamis that can be manifested this way.
- In addition, it is not known whether a Miraculous Holder can transform with Gimmi.
- Following Liiri, Gimmi is the only other kwami with a concept that doesn't end in "-ion".
- As revealed in "Miraculous London", both Tikki and Plagg are able to retain the memories of Gimmi once unfused.
