—Fluff, "Evolution" |
Fluff[4] is a supporting character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is the kwami of Evolution[5] who is connected to the Rabbit Miraculous.[6] With her power, Fluff's wearer can use the pocket watch to transform into a rabbit-themed superhero.
Fluff and her Miraculous are currently active and owned by Alix Kubdel, who uses it to transform into the superheroine Bunnyx.
After "Re-creation", Fluff returns to the present timeline after the defeat of Monarch and currently resides in the Louvre with her holder.
Appearance[]
Fluff is 10 centimeters (or 4 inches) in height[3] and has a white body, neck, a pair of white arms and legs, a white round head, two whiskers, and a fluffy rounded tail. She has pale pink eye shadow on the upper eyelids, eyelashes, and blue eyes. She has long white ears with rounded tips with baby blue inner ears. She also has two top front teeth with a gap in between them.
Personality[]
Fluff is extremely curious and full of energy, but she can also be easily startled. She is also somewhat of a scatterbrain with a tendency to be easily confused over what current time it is and having déjà vu on occasion. This is due to how much she travels through time and must be able to resist the temptation to alter time, much like Sass and their holders.
Abilities[]
Fluff can fly, levitate, and phase through solid objects. She can also carry objects that are larger and/or heavier than herself.
As a kwami, Fluff is able to transform the holder of the Rabbit Miraculous into a rabbit-themed superhero conferring the power of teleporting through space and time.
Since her wielder's can access the Burrow with the jewel and sense time disturbances, it's implied that Fluff can go there and sense disturbances too. As well as having her memory remain unaffected do to the changes or deletions of certain timelines.
Relationships[]
Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug/Multimouse/Pennybug[]
Like Plagg, due to Tikki being out of the box she was aware of Ladybug's existence as Tikki's owner. After Marinette, as Multimouse, used the Mouse Miraculous' superpower to make small copies of herself, she hid in Fluff's mouth. The Rabbit Miraculous is one of the few miraculouses that Multimouse didn't use to defeat Kwamibuster. After "Miracle Queen", Fluff and her fellow kwamis accept Marinette as their new guardian and move in with her.
Like her kwami siblings, she is friendly, helpful and supportive towards Marinette.
In "Strikeback", Fluff fuses her powers with Tikki’s and Kaalki’s to help Marinette defeat Risk.
By playing on Monarch's greed, Fluff was freed and very happy to see her guardian in "Evolution".
Alix Kubdel/Bunnyx[]
In "Evolution", Fluff meets Alix when her Miraculous is entrusted to her.
In "Timetagger", after Bunnyx detransforms, Fluff looks between adult Alix and young Alix before sitting herself on her current owner's shoulder.
In "Evolution", Fluff's future self is briefly separated from her future owner Bunnyx after Monarch paralyzes her with Venom. After securing both versions of Rabbit Miraculous, her current and future selves are reunited with both of her owners, and remain in the Burrow for safety. However, it's unknown since Fluff was freed if she ever told her owner of the villain's actions or not, if the constant travels through time altered her memory so she couldn't or just like her owners (excluding Monarch) she had to wait until the right moment to tell.
Prior to "Reunion", Fluff gave Alix her kwagatama as a sign of their friendship.
From "Miraculous London", with Elderly Bunnyx from the future Fluff and her are going to be together for years to come.
Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir/Rabbit Noir[]
Like Tikki, due to Plagg being out of the box she was aware of Cat Noir's existence as Plagg's owner. In "Timetagger", future Fluff briefly meets Cat Noir's younger self when Bunnyx detransforms. In "Kwamibuster", Fluff's current self came to help save Plagg and by extension his owner from having his identity revealed.
In "Evolution", Fluff's future self fuses her powers with Cat Noir to stop Monarch from changing the past.
Gabriel Agreste/Monarch[]
In "Evolution", like the other kwamis, Fluff discovers who Nooroo's owner is and the reason for his actions. Later, she fuses her powers with Nooroo’s to help Gabriel change the past and prevent his wife’s coma but was rescued by Canigirl's ball, thus being spared from being caged and having her Miraculous reforged into a ring, unlike her kwami brothers and sisters.

Trivia[]
- Fluff is the only one of the zodiac kwamis that was not revealed in the TFOU promotion.
- Thomas Astruc confirmed Fluff's name on Twitter on November 11, 2018.[7]
- Rabbits symbolize, among many things, vigilance, abundance, speed, and harmony.
- The rabbit is the fourth animal of the Chinese zodiac.
- In the terms of the episodes international release dates (including the special condition of Ikari Gozen) Fluff is the first known kwami of the Chinese zodiac to be activated and used.
- Despite not having an appearance in "Timebreaker", Fluff is the first kwami to have her Miraculous destroyed followed by Plagg in the same episode, Pollen in "Queen Wasp", Nooroo in "Miraculous Shanghai" and Wayzz in "Optigami".
- In "Timetagger", future Alix is seen feeding Fluff a carrot. This is a point of interest because despite carrots often being affiliated with rabbits, they are actually the rabbit equivalent of junk food. The primary food source for the average rabbit is hay/grass.
- Fluff's name is a reference to a rabbit's most distinguished feature: their fluffy tails.
- It's also fitting that Fluff's power is burrow and that she is the kwami of evolution, because as time moves on, everything evolves and changes as it grows.
- Fluff's appearance and power is also a reference to how rabbits live in the wild: underground in burrows.
- Fluff's power also has another correlation with it's name as when it comes to creatures like rabbits in burrows there's usually more than one tunnel or way out similar to the ways of time travel as they are many outcomes.
- Similar to Marc missing in Olga Mendeleiev's class photo in "Reflekta". Fluff not appearing in "Timebreaker" despite her Miraculous doing so is partially reasonable because by when this episode debuted Fluff's character along with most of the other kwamis characters weren't created yet. But the in universe reason of why is still unknown however, it could be that due to the Rabbit Miraculous' nature or due to Fluff already being merged with Bunnyx and sealed in stone slumber is why she didn't come out despite her owner having her jewel.
- Fluff and Kaalki are the only Kwamis with portal related powers.
- Fluff is the only Kwami from the Chinese Miracle Box who was retrieved from Gabriel in Season 5 until "Re-creation" where Marinette managed to retrieve all the other Miraculouses.
- Fluff is the second kwami after Trixx to not be shown flying into the Miraculous during a transformation sequence, as only a burst of light appears in teenage Bunnyx's transformation sequence.
