Adrien Agreste is a teenage boy who was chosen by Master Fu to wield the Cat Miraculous and become the superhero Cat Noir.

Before Season 1

Adrien Agreste is the son of the late famous French fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste and the late former British aristocrat from the noble Graham de Vanily family and actress Emilie Agreste. His parents tried fruitlessly to have a child, but due to his mother's infertility, they were unsuccessful. His parents even went back to Emilie's parents for help but still, nothing worked. Not until one day, Adrien was manifested by Emilie from her and Gabriel's emotions of love for each other in her womb with the help of the broken Peacock Miraculous and placed his amok in the family rings. When he was born, his parents was very happy and emotional, and their lives become perfect with his presence; he was called their "little prince and "little miracle" ever since.

Adrien was home-schooled for his entire life. He lived in the Agreste mansion with his parents. At this time, his only friend was Chloé. His mother went missing within nine months before Adrien was allowed to go to school. This changed his father, making him more distant. Adrien started modeling in order to get closer to him.

Season 1

In "Ladybug & Cat Noir", Adrien ran away from home and tried to go to school against his father's orders. He almost made it inside, but was followed by Nathalie and his bodyguard. He pleaded with them to let him go to school. Before he could go in, he saw an old man struggling to get up from the sidewalk, with his cane out of reach. Adrien handed the man his cane and was forced to return home. Nathalie was home-schooling him when Gabriel scolded him for leaving the safety of the mansion.

Upset, Adrien ran to his room but feeling the ground shake, he ran outside seeing Stoneheart throw a van at Agent Roger, and turned on the news in his room to learn more. Then, noticed a black box on his coffee table. Opening it, a flash of light entered the room and he met Plagg. After chasing him around his room, he put on the Cat Miraculous and transformed into a superhero. Eager, Adrien didn't listen to all of Plagg's instructions and left his room, jumping with his baton across Paris.

Getting the hang of walking on his baton, he fell off when Ladybug fell from the sky and crashed into him. Once untangled, he introduced himself as Cat Noir and ran off to fight Stoneheart while his partner followed. At the Parc des Princes, Cat Noir stopped him from attacking Kim, saved Alya from being hurt but misused Cataclysm on a soccer goal. Ladybug and Cat Noir took down Stoneheart and turned him back into Ivan. He returned to his house before he detransformed and tried feeding Plagg food his personal chef provided, but Plagg only accepted Camembert, much to his annoyance. That wasn't the only thing that brought him down: because Ladybug didn't capture the akuma, it multiplied and affected innocent Parisian citizens, turning them into Stonehearts. Even worse, Cat Noir couldn't repair the damage nor capture the akuma leaving him thinking.

In "Stoneheart", the next day, Adrien snuck out of the house again, complaining about Plagg's Camembert addiction, and made it to school before Nathalie could catch him. Chloé led him around the school and signed autographs for the people who asked. When Chloé put gum on Marinette's seat, he tried to remove it, but Marinette was mad and made him stop. Nino, seeing Adrien's predicament, decided to become his friend.

When Stoneheart busted down Miss Bustier's classroom's door and took Chloé and Mylène captive, Adrien ran from the room and transformed into Cat Noir. He hit Stoneheart and caused him to grow. Stoneheart called on his minions and they attacked the hero, letting the original one walk away. When one of them threw a car at Alya, he threw his staff at it, keeping it from killing her however, this led to him being captured. Until Ladybug freed him when she returned his staff. They went after the original Stoneheart who was on the Eiffel Tower.

When Ladybug didn't feel like she could succeed in taking down Stoneheart; since she failed once and the police didn't trust her Cat Noir encouraged her to try again. When Hawk Moth told him to give up his Miraculous, he saw Ladybug step up and capture all the akumas creating his face. Then heard the promised that they would defend Paris and keep them safe. It was in that moment that Cat Noir decided that he loved the girl under the mask. He followed Ladybug up the Eiffel Tower to free Mylène and fought off the other Stonehearts while she figured out what to do with her Lucky Charm. When Ladybug made Stoneheart drop his akumatized object, Cat Noir threw it up to her so that she could free the akuma. He used Cataclysm so that he could catch Ivan. After all the damage was fixed he couldn't wait to see Ladybug again and leaves.

The next day, Adrien went to school with permission from his father. He apologized to Marinette for the gum incident and explained he was only trying to help her. Happy that he was forgiven and made a new friend, he went home.

In "The Bubbler", it was Adrien's birthday and wanted to have a birthday party, but his father wouldn't let him. Nino tried to convince Gabriel to give Adrien one, but he failed and was banished from the Agreste mansion. After lunch, he went outside the mansion to find all of his classmates gathered in the courtyard and an akumatized Nino hovering above everyone on a bubble. Adrien ran inside to transform, but was convinced by Plagg to enjoy the party.

He listened to Plagg's advice and joined the party. At first, Adrien didn't notice how miserable everyone else was, but when Ladybug showed up, he ran of to transform. Cat Noir fought with her against Bubbler, but ended up surrounded in red bubbles and then captured by them. He demanded Bubbler bring the adults back, but that only angered him; they were sent skyward. Cat Noir used Cataclysm to escape from the bubble, threw his baton at the Eiffel Tower and let Ladybug swing them back to the ground. They returned to the Agreste mansion, but it was too late; the students were sent skyward. He and Ladybug chased Bubbler up the Eiffel Tower and distracted him with a broken air vent until Ladybug captured his akuma.

Back at the Agreste mansion, Adrien opened the gift Marinette left, believing it to be from his father. He wore the scarf to school the next day, very happy with the results.

In "Mr. Pigeon", Adrien heard of a fashion design competition happening at his school as the prize; he would model the hat that won the event. He saw Marinette's designs and was excited for her work. When Mr. Pigeon attacked Paris with his pigeons, he transformed into Cat Noir to help Ladybug which wasn't easy with his feather allergy. Warned her, that the park keepers were disappearing too so he acted as bait to get Mr. Pigeon's attention but was carried away. When Ladybug followed, they were trapped in a cage until he freed them with Cataclysm.

They ran inside Le Grand Paris so Cat Noir could feed Plagg. Afterwards he followed Ladybug to the Grand Palais where they found the park keepers trapped inside. Ladybug planned on him grabbing the bird call, but his allergies kicked in, leading them into a brawl against Mr. Pigeon and his pigeon fists. Using Ladybug's Lucky Charm, the pigeons turned against Mr. Pigeon, leaving him defenseless. They smashed the bird call, Ladybug purified the akuma, and the city was returned to normal. With less than an hour left to the end of the competition, Adrien returned to the school, showed his father around, congratulated Marinette when she proved her hat was her own design, and beat Chloé winning the competition. But as soon as he put the hat on Adrien sneezed telling his friends that he was allergic to feathers.

In "Stormy Weather", Adrien had a photoshoot in the park. He saw Marinette and Alya when Manon interrupted the shoot by shouting at her. When Stormy Weather attacked the park in the middle of the shoot, he left to transformed into Cat Noir and confronted Stormy Weather but was blown away. Helped to his feet by Ladybug he was stopped by her from flirting. Then, they fought Stormy Weather but were blown away twice and trapped in a bus.

When freed, they heroes ran to the KIDZ+ studio and broke down the door, but she wasn't there and found a recording. Stormy Weather then turned off the lights and ran to the rooftop. Because Cat Noir had night vision, he led Ladybug there. He defended themselves from the falling hail while Ladybug figured out what to do with her Lucky Charm then summoned his Cataclysm and took down a billboard. Stormy Weather blasted a hole through the billboard before it could crash into her. Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around Stormy Weather's ankle, preventing her from escaping. Ladybug pulled her back to the ground and she lost her umbrella. Cat Noir threw it to her and she broke it, purifying the akuma and returning the city to normal. Adrien returned to the park and finished the photo shoot with Manon as his partner.

In "Timebreaker", Adrien was at the Trocadéro to watch Alix's and Kim's race as well as liked Marinette's banner. When she dropped Alix's watch, he caught it, but Chloé grabbed it, dropped it and broke it leading to Alix's akumatization. He transformed into Cat Noir and avoided Timebreaker's touch, but ended up disappearing when he protected Ladybug.

In the past, Adrien didn't remember disappearing and was excited to work with two Ladybugs. The Ladybugs summoned their Lucky Charms and came up with a plan to stop the Timebreakers while he distracted them by using Cataclysm. Future Ladybug wrapped the Timebreakers' ankles together while Past Ladybug created a ramp that flung them in the air. The Ladybugs broke the rollerskates, released the akumas, and cleansed the city, merging the two Ladybugs and Timebreakers. When Ladybug left, Cat Noir was determined to make her fall for him.

In "Copycat", Adrien was at fencing practice at the school when he left to go to the locker room, found a new voicemail from an unrecognized number on his phone, and found Plagg had eaten all of his Camembert. Noticing the time, he and Plagg transformed into Cat Noir and hurried over to the statue ceremony in the park. At the ceremony, he proceeded to boast about himself, saying he was the better of the duo and that they were in a relationship making Théo Barbot very jealous.

After the ceremony, Cat Noir returned to the school and detransformed. Adrien grabbed his bag and went home, but immediately returned to school because his phone was missing. On the way, he saw a news report about Cat Noir stealing the Mona Lisa. He and Plagg transformed again and went to the Louvre to help, but were caught by police but escaped and told Ladybug he was innocent. The police chased him through Paris until he went in a subway system and came out on the other side as Adrien. Plagg guessed the thief was akumatized and Adrien agreed. They transformed again and went to Théo's studio where Cat Noir was trapped by Copycat. Ladybug arrived and freed Cat Noir with Copycat's Cataclysm. Using a spoon, Cat Noir and Ladybug defeated Copycat and returned the city (and the Mona Lisa) to normal. Adrien returned to school, but his phone wasn't there. The next day, Adrien found his phone in his bag. Nino invited him to the movies that night, and Alya and Marinette tagged along.

In "The Pharaoh", Adrien was watching the Ladyblog's most recent update, discussing with Plagg the possibility that Ladybug went to his school and girls were better than cheese. When he saw Alya's new livestream, he immediately transformed into Cat Noir and went to the Louvre. He arrived just as the Pharaoh was trying to leave. Before he could land a blow, he was thrown into a sarcophagus. While Ladybug freed him The Pharaoh escaped with Alya. They were still trapped in the room, so he used Cataclysm to break the bars of the exhibit leaving Ladybug to detransform and feed Plagg.

When Plagg was full, he transformed again and freed Ladybug from a time-shifting bubble. Once outside he distracted all the mummies and gave Ladybug time to save Alya but it didn't work, then he and Ladybug trapped the mummies in a bus. Sometime before this, he used Cataclysm again. Cat Noir watched as Ladybug saved Alya for a second time and returned the city to normal. As Ladybug left, he asked Alya if she wanted to know his age with little time left he ran away and went home to study for a history test the next day.

In "Lady Wifi", Adrien was late to an akumatized villain battle, but he helped Ladybug defeat the villain. The next day in class, he found out about Alya's theory of Chloé being Ladybug. When Lady Wifi appeared on screen, he ran from the school and transformed into Cat Noir, to stake out Le Grand Paris to protect Chloé. Seeing her through his phone he became shocked that Alya could be right until the real Ladybug showed up beside him. When Lady Wifi appeared in Chloé's room, he and Ladybug entered the scene and fought her. After Chloé was freed, they led Lady Wifi down to the basement to trap her, but she caught onto what they were planning and set up a trap of her own in Le Grand Paris' restaurant.

Which led Cat Noir being separated from Ladybug but managed to catch up seeing her trapped against a kitchen wall. But, was thrown and trapped in the freezer with the impact making his ring fall off his hand, forcing him to detransform. Luckily, he found it and transformed before Ladybug could free him, thus protecting his identity. Seeing that she used her Lucky Charm, he listened to her plan and hurried to defeat Lady Wifi before she detransformed. He destroyed the WiFi antenna on the roof, cutting Lady Wifi's powers off and the two fought hand to hand until Ladybug showed up. They defeated Lady Wifi, captured her akuma and returned the city to normal. With only a minute left on her Miraculous, Cat Noir followed Ladybug downstairs asking her to stay promising that he won't tell anyone her identity. Hearing her words instead of looking, Cat Noir closed the door, ran outside and detransformed. In his heart, Adrien wanted to know who she was; with her being so close, but he hadn't been thinking clearly. He and Plagg returned home for the night.

In "The Evillustrator", Adrien was partnered with Alya and Nino for their particle physics presentation. Then, went to the library after class to research the presentation, but was interrupted when Chloé was attacked by several berets and a hairdryer. Hiding behind a bookcase, he transformed into Cat Noir and helped Ladybug take down the hairdryer. They tried taking down the villain too, but he escaped. Instead, Ladybug and Cat Noir went to Le Grand Paris to investigate why the Evillustrator was after Chloé. After Ladybug left in an angry huff, he was left behind to guard her but later, was called by Ladybug and told was to guard Marinette while she was on her date with Evillustrator.

He went to Marinette's house, introducing himself to her and telling her not to worry about the evening; all she had to do was take Evillustrator's stylus. He followed Marinette and Evillustrator along the shoreline of the Seine. When they passed under the Pont Marie, he boarded the boat, but was heard by Evillustrator. He blocked him from going after Marinette in order to get his stylus back, but the villain kicked Cat Noir's staff away, knocking the stylus out of her hand. Cat Noir tried to attack him, but was trapped in a cube with her and left on a sinking ship. Marinette helped him remove the cube and together, they escaped. After leaving Marinette safely on the streets by La Seine, he went to Le Grand Paris and met Ladybug there. Together, they protected Chloé and took down the Evillustrator. The next day at school, Adrien asked Marinette what she thought about Cat Noir and him protecting her. She stuttered and stumbled over her words, but her overall impression of him was positive. He patted her shoulder and left for class.

In "Rogercop", Adrien attended Career Day at school, called his father but was sad that he wasn't coming and went back inside the classroom. After an accident, noticing Chloé's bracelet on Plagg's head by his feet they left the room. Once out, he wanted an explanation because of the predicament they're in; meanwhile he tried to get the bracelet off him to no avail. However when Rogercop attacked Adrien attempted to transform but Plagg warned him if the bracelet gets absorbed his powers will be damaged. Thanks to some quick thinking he manages to free Plagg and transform. Then, the duo fought and followed Rogercop to City Hall. But soon had police turn on them and yet managed to escape. By nightfall, hearing that they're now wanted felons the cat had the idea of defending themselves in a court of law. However, the heroine had another idea; Cat Noir distracted the guards so Ladybug could sneak inside and after the guards were finished he joins her. Together using Cataclysm to trap the villain and a pair of oven mitts they defeat Rogercop and seeing that his transformation was about to wear off he says that Ladybug wouldn't be able to resist him with his mask off before leaving.

In "Dark Cupid", during school Adrien attempted to write a love poem to Ladybug but threw it away and went home. While in his room, he moped over who Ladybug could be but Plagg comments that he knew nothing about her. Adrien replies saying Plagg knew nothing about love, then wanting to confess his love he transformed into Cat Noir. Finding Ladybug, he tried to reveal his love for her but before he could he saw Dark Cupid preparing to fire an arrow but turns her around taking the hit instead. Being under the arrow's affect he turned against her and teamed up with Dark Cupid. The cat caught up with Ladybug trying to fight her when the heroine asked why was he full of hate he believed hate conquers all but seeing her intentions he fled in fear until Ladybug tied him down trying in vain to kiss him until Dark Cupid frees him. As the fight continues, Cat Noir attempted to use Catalysm on Ladybug very curious on what would happen if his power was used on someone.

Ladybug barely avoids it but Cat Noir pinned her down while being distracted he got kissed by her breaking the spell. After Dark Cupid was defeated, he tried to tell Ladybug something thinking he remembered what happened she tried to explain confused he wanted to confess his love but due to his time being almost up the duo parted ways. Adrien returned home ashamed of how cruel he was being to Ladybug, then noticed someone answered his poem but saw it wasn't signed. Seeing a ladybug, he believed that it might have come from the heroine and swoons over believing he still has a chance to win her love.

In "Horrificator", Adrien played the leading role Officer Jones in a monster movie the class was preparing for a film contest but there were complications when Mylène ran away out of fear. Needing a new actress Chloé took over and with rewritten script he tried to back away from her during the kissing scene but was intervened by Alya and Marinette. Then, he worked with Marinette who was the temporary leading actress and moved into the kissing scene again but was stopped by Chloé. Afterwards, they all heard a scream and found pink slime realizing what it meant Adrien thought of a quick excuse claiming he left something behind. With Adrien's whereabouts covered, he transformed into Cat Noir meeting up with Ladybug, the hero explained that the slime was indestructible. While he and Ladybug protected the other students they started looking for villain during their fight against Horrificator they discovered that the monster feeds off of fear and that it's Mylène.

They followed the villain to the maintenance room where Cat Noir and Ladybug found the captured students but couldn't free them. Using Cataclysm on the bars the hero was able to trap Horrificator, using his staff as a pair of drumsticks and makeshift drums. He followed Ladybug's lead in calming the villain down, with that she purified the akuma and freed the school. Afterwards, when their movie didn't make the cut Adrien comforted Nino believing all great directors start from nothing.

In "Darkblade", after dealing with an akuma attack Adrien went to school and during their free time he heard from Alya that Marinette was running for class representative. He said he'll give Marinette his vote if she can give a good speech, sometime later during the middle of his fencing class Adrien gets defeated by his instructor's finishing move being impressed. But shortly afterwards he saw his fencing teacher get akumatized into Darkblade and he transforms into Cat Noir. Then, the hero fought against the villain and his knights all the way to the Pont des Arts, but lost his staff and was outnumbered with nowhere else to go Cat Noir pretended to fall off the bridge but heard the knights heading for City Hall.

Meeting the knights there, he was ready for round two but got cornered until Ladybug rescued him. They did their best to protect City Hall to discover that the knights were after flag despite their efforts Darkblade got his banner. The hero refused to give up and challenged Darkblade once more this time he defeats the villain's finishing move and thanks to a windup toy he tossed the sword to Ladybug where the heroine captured the akuma, cleansed the city and left to detransform. Back inside Adrien claimed like Marinette he was turned into a knight. Then, heard that Marinette's diary was stolen by Chloé and her speech about being elected by fair means. By the next day Adrien cheered for Marinette who won the election.

In "The Mime", Adrien was heading over to the mime performance show but was disappointed that his father wasn't coming until his bodyguard slammed on the breaks and they were attacked by The Mime. He was told by Ladybug to get to safety but was briefly distracted by her beauty; once Adrien separates himself from his bodyguard and Natalie he transforms into Cat Noir. However, the fight was cut short when The Mime puts them in a cage and a huffy kitty tried to ram the bars but they disappeared before he could. They quickly chased The Mime down to discover he's after the theater troupe bus, Cat Noir worked as a distraction while Ladybug tried to get his hat and get everyone to safety. Once they stopped the cat got locked in a sword fight with the villain until he gets pinned but with a quick assist from Ladybug he escaped.

With a shoe box and using villain's powers against him they were able to trap The Mime, capture the akuma and cleanse the city. He noticed that Ladybug is about to transform back and was bummed that he couldn't be her date to the performance. After that Adrien detransformed and attended the performance happy that he wasn't going to be alone when Alya and Marinette were seated next to him. Once the show ends Adrien returned home.

In "Princess Fragrance", after dealing with The Magician of Misfortune; Adrien detransforms and went to school but missed his Chemistry Class. Once there he saw that Marinette trip down the stairs but managed to catch her and asks if she was okay. Then, he went home watching Prince Ali's event from his room but saw Princess Fragrance attacking the event and quickly transformed into Cat Noir. He went to the Le Grand Paris Hotel after a quick confrontation with the villain the hero tried to get Prince Ali out of Paris but ended up under the affects of Princess Fragrance's perfume becoming her minion. When Ladybug finally arrived, he fought against her and tried to use Cataclysm but ended up using it on the fireworks control panel box on an upcoming boat. After that he was pulled into the river, when he got out Cat Noir was licking himself dry until the Miraculous Ladybug power returned him to normal and wondered where Ladybug was.

In "Animan", Adrien saw Nino eyeing Marinette and Alya from a distance and was informed that his best friend had a crush on Marinette. Then, comes with Nino as support so he can ask her to the zoo but not wanting to be alone Adrien gets asked by Nino to come with him and he agrees. At the zoo, he stayed hidden but remained in contact with Nino by ear communicator, when Plagg wanted to hear more Adrien hushed him. In the midst of him coaching Nino, he heard that the message got scrambled and was shocked that Nino had a crush on Alya. Seeing the animal stampede, he transforms into Cat Noir and confronted Animan with Ladybug who was after Kim. He attempted to grab the charm but seeing the other animals the duo quickly retreats.

While running the heroes attempted to put the animals back in their cages but to no avail. On higher ground they moved back to the original plan but discovered that Animan escaped. They quickly find Kim and Animan on the bridge after he was restrained Cat Noir placed a tracer on Kim but when the villain escaped again they followed Kim to Marinette's parent's bakery. Once inside they planned their next move but not before he eyed Marinette's family picture. Using Kim's wristband and air freshener to cover their scent, the cat noticed a tissue box and wanted to trap him but it would only work until the villain got bigger. They decided to use a nearby bus, upon hearing Animan they hid and caught him but his transformation into a panther caused Cat Noir and Ladybug to flee leading him into the bus. Upon fighting him they discovered that each transformation tired Animan out using Cataclysm on the bus console they waited until the villain got tired to grab the akuma.

Which worked until Animan changed into a T-Rex causing them to seek cover. While Cat Noir worked as a distraction Ladybug restrained him but when he moved in to grab the charm he almost got chomped. When he realized what Ladybug was trying to do he watched in horror as his partner was eaten filled with anger the hero was prepared to fight but relieved to see Ladybug safe. After cleansing the city he embraced her before leaving.

In "Simon Says", Adrien came to the Challenge tv studio to support Nino who was performing in the contest then came across a hypnotist named Simon who wanted to meet him. All went well until Simon got akumatized into Simon Says seeing the trouble he transformed into Cat Noir and heard that the villain was after his father. After dealing with some of Simon Says' minions he meets up with Ladybug and Nino who's looking for Adrien, Cat Noir tried to dissuade them but seeing Nino's concern the hero says he'll meet her at the Agreste Mansion and detransforms then went home with Nino and Ladybug. Once there he tried to warn his father that he's in danger after Adrien made an excuse he transforms into Cat Noir again and warns Ladybug that Simon Says' army was closing in. He told Gabriel that they needed to board up the defenses and having enough of the man's stubbornness Cat Noir confidently tells him that he's in danger like everyone else.

Seeing that Ladybug was looking for Adrien, he detransforms in the shower. Once out he and Ladybug talked over the picture of Adrien's mother commenting on how both have the same eyes. But the moment was interrupted when Simon's Army breaks in, captures Gabriel and the heroine puts him in the bathroom, knowing she can't fight alone Adrien transforms for the third time and went to the tv studio. Along with Ladybug they defeated Simon Says and saved Gabriel Agreste but leaves when his miraculous starts to time out. Back at home, Adrien received a surprised from hug from his father but the moment was stopped when he gets asked about his ring but retorts by saying, "that's the only thing you've noticed about him." Then, the next day Adrien heard that Nino wanted Ladybug and Cat Noir to appear for his next performance and transforms into Cat Noir heading towards the studio.

In "Pixelator", he spent job experience day at the Le Grand Paris hotel as receptionist being paired with Chloé. Seeing a guest at the door Adrien was told to watch and learn but knowing something wasn't right, he tried to save Chloé but became digitized with her. He tried to find a way out however Chloé didn't want to be left alone but aware there's an akumatized villain he wanted to transform quickly. However, Plagg told him not to be in a rush, then suddenly Fang was digitized too, causing Chloé to jump in his arms in fear. Sometime later, he and Chloé were found by Ladybug in the photos of Vincent's studio where she promised to free them. Due to a deal caused by Ladybug, Adrien was freed and asked Nino to cover for him before leaving, seeing the damage Pixelator had done he transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting with Ladybug, he gets the idea from her on where the akuma was but his cover was blown and after a brief fight he got digitized again but this time used Cataclysm not only to free himself but everyone else too.

After using a compact mirror they were able to stop Pixelator's photo spree. Once the day was over Adrien his friends were reward with tickets to Jagged Stone's concert and was happy that he got to enjoy his first concert.

In "Guitar Villain", Adrien came across Marinette who was leaving the hotel and gets jumped on by Chloé. Being a fan of Jagged Stone, he was informed by her that the rock star was staying at her father's hotel. But he asked Chloé thinking she liked XY and she preferred Jagged Stone instead, soon the rock star gets akumatizied into Guitar Villain after separating himself from Chloé; Adrien transforms into Cat Noir. After a scuffle the cat was joined by Ladybug who saved him Fang's attack, soon afterwards they followed the villain who's after XY. They barely make it there, but XY was captured and raced back to the Eiffel Tower. As the duo climbed up they were attacked by Fang. After taking care of the dragon they dealt with Guitar Villain having Cat Noir as the distraction with his Cataclysm and using a can of hair spray the heroes were able to save XY.

Once Jagged was returned to normal Cat Noir asked him for autograph. At school the next day, Adrien told Marinette that he heard she designed Jagged's album and asked if he could have her autograph after signing it, he thanked her.

In "Kung Food", Adrien received a call from Alya saying that Marinette needed a translator he shortly arrives at her house. Then, on their way to the competition he spoke with Marinette's great uncle in Chinese and found out he does speak English but not very good and yet Wang Cheng was impressed with Adrien's Chinese. At the Le Grand Paris, he asked Marinette's uncle if he needed help and the cook says no, soon Marinette came to apologize for the inconvenience but he took it as great experience to practice his Chinese with someone. When Adrien heard Chloé disown Wang Cheng's main dish and after Marinette stood up for him, he praises her for doing so but heard Marinette doubt that her great uncle liked her. Adrien assured her that he does by telling her that Wang Cheng used the flowers she gave him in his dish to honor her. During the contest his joy was turned into shock when Wang Cheng lost the contest, they both figured out Chloé sabotaged the dish and felt bad for him. While waiting for him Adrien noticed that all the exits are blocked off with caramel and went off to look for Marinette's uncle but used the time to transform into Cat Noir.

Meeting up with Ladybug, they fought Kung Food's minions as they climbed up the building. Finally making it to the top and after Chloé was saved. They face off against Kung Food and using a Cataclysm on the villain's bag the duo was able to save Marinette's uncle. After Wang Cheng got another chance to compete in the contest and when Chloé complains about his dish, Adrien reminded her that she was removed from judging position due to her sabotage. Once Wang Cheng won, he tried the soup with Marinette.

In "Gamer", Adrien faced against Max while trying out for the Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament. He manages to beat Max and is expected to continue on with him in the tournament. Marinette, not wanting to miss a chance to hang out with him, beats Max's high score and Adrien told her he'd come to her house to practice. Later that day, he came to Marinette's house and was greeted by her parents. Not wanting to be embarrassed Adrien hurried to her room and they started practicing he did admit to Marinette that her parents were nice, she thanked him for the compliment. As they continued Adrien was very impressed with her gaming skills and claimed she could win even without him.

That's when he was informed on her secret to winning was a lucky charm bracelet and was given it to increase his chances of winning, but as Marinette's parents continued to offer snacks he agreed. At the park, Adrien found the pie delicious, then decided to go back but noticed a giant robot behind them where he easily found out it wasn't a publicity stunt for the tournament and were quickly under fire. They tried to run but ended up separated, with Marinette in danger he transformed and safely took her to the roof of Le Grand Paris Hotel. When she had concerns about Adrien, Cat Noir assured her he was fine, after being joined by Ladybug they led Gamer to the stadium.

Once there he used Cataclysm on Gamer's robot destroying it however wasn't over. Soon he and Ladybug engaged Gamer's robot in another duel but this time with their own robot and after a giant-sized smack down they saved Max. During the night of the tournament Adrien saw how Marinette regretted taking Max's spot and gave it back. Admired by her kindness, he gave his spot to her and cheered for them as they competed.

In "Reflekta", Adrien was getting ready for class picture day with his classmates. But when he saw that Chloé wasn't satisfied with her spot he quickly brushed it off saying that they all got to be in the same photo. But when Juleka got akumatized into Reflekta he transformed into Cat Noir. After a brief scuffle, he attempted to use Cataclysm to free everyone from the school but got turned into an image of the villain. Despite not having any powers he couldn't do nothing in an effort to help Ladybug he rallied everyone against Reflekta.

Once she was gone, he and Ladybug separated themselves from the crowd trying to prove that even though he looked like the villain it was still him on the inside. Reminding the heroine about the task at hand, Cat Noir wanted to come with her but Ladybug retorted against it, but he reminded her just because his powers are gone doesn't mean he can't help. Having an idea, they leave for the tv studio in an attempt to trap Reflekta but end up capturing the mayor instead but due to the hero already being transformed he was unaffected by the villain's powers. Using a camera, they were able to defeat the villainess and was returned to normal with their full powers intact while he a distaste for heading before heading back to the school. Afterwards, he went to the park with his friends to do a new class photo and complimented to Marinette that it was a great idea.

In "The Puppeteer", after shaking off his bodyguard, Adrien was taking a train to the movie theaters. Noticing Alya and Marinette in the next car he waved at them but was shocked when Alya turned into Lady Wifi, seeing that everyone was danger he transform into Cat Noir. After Lady Wifi leaves he asked Marinette where the villainess was going and was informed that Alya was being controlled by Puppeteer and heading to her house. Meeting Ladybug there they used a previous plan to defeat her and Cat Noir used Cataclysm on the WiFi antenna freeing his partner but the villain managed to escape. Even though she was beaten, the heroes were shocked to discover that Lady Wifi didn't have the akuma but Puppeteer did.

Realizing her power he asked if Ladybug had the Cat Noir doll too but she didn't and knew they had to find Puppeteer fast before she took control of him too. But he was about to detransform and leaves to recharge once Cat Noir transformed again he called Ladybug asking if she found the young villain and the heroine reports she was at the KIDZ+ TV building. Appearing behind his partner the cat got his arm twisted by Ladybug but confirmed he wasn't a puppet yet but ends up being controlled by her, despite that Ladybug manages to capture the akuma returning Cat Noir and everyone else back to normal. Afterwards he asked what happened the heroine explained he was puppet but didn't anything foolish and allowed Ladybug to pulled his heart strings anytime.

In "Antibug", Adrien was already in class and like everyone else he saw that Chloé was a wreck but also saw her acting strange afterwards. Once excused he quickly figured out that she was being attacked by a villain, he and Plagg transformed and went to the Le Grand Paris to protect her. When Chloé refused to admit if someone was out to get her, he and Ladybug talked to her butler that's when they learned during one of their games Chloé and Sabrina had a fallout which ended their friendship. Piecing it together it turns out that she was attacked by an akumatizied villain named Vanisher who was actually Chloé's friend Sabrina. Leaving the hotel Cat Noir exclaimed that it was going to be hard fighting someone they couldn't see and gleefully gave Ladybug a rose. But seeing the heroine's hair moving strangely the duo quickly got into a defensive stance; in the midst of fighting Vanisher Cat Noir heard from Chloé that Sabrina's akuma was in the brooch. After Sabrina was deakumatized he saw that she was right and asked why Ladybug didn't believe her and took his leave with her.

Soon after that he saw Chloé get akumatizied into Antibug, needing to buy time for Ladybug, Cat Noir fought against her but ended tied up to his staff and used as bait to lure her out. During Antibug's taunting he was asked to work with her but refused to work with a mere copycat saying he and Ladybug were a team hoping the real one would show up soon. Unknown to him, Cat Noir felt someone giving him a hand quickly assumed it was his partner (actually Marinette in civilian form) and was set free. With Ladybug back in action and a bag of marbles they were able to defeat Antibug, then Adrien went to school the next day.

In "Volpina", Adrien was secretly watching his father who was curious about what he was hiding in his safe. After Plagg opened the door Adrien saw a book (which is the miraculous spellbook.) Upon reading he also sees a picture Hawk Moth wondering why someone like him was in a book about heroes, but quickly leaves for school taking it with him. While there he comes across a girl named Lila who tries to tell him that she is a Miraculous wielder too. But through a harsh scalding from Ladybug, he found that Lila's stories weren't true at all and leads her to getting akumatizied into Volpina. At one point Adrien tries to talk Lila out of causing trouble but when it doesn't he transform into Cat Noir.

On the Eiffel Tower, he sees Volpina daring to drop 'Adrien' off the tower, but knowing it was an illusion Cat Noir showed Ladybug it wasn't really his alter ego but throwing his staff. The duo defeats Volpina, he hears his partner's attempt to apologize to Lila but she rejected it. Using his regular voice and keeping his bathroom door closed he convinced Ladybug that was ok. But Adrien noticed that his father's book was missing and asked Plagg if he moved it but the kwami said no. Leaving him worried that if he doesn't find it soon he'll have something scarier to deal with than Hawk Moth's anger.

Season 2

In "Santa Claws", Adrien was decorating a Christmas tree in the foyer hoping his father would join him too since his mother wasn't here. Seeing that he wouldn't Adrien went back to his room in anger believing his father cared about himself deciding to hate the holiday he transformed into Cat Noir leaving his room. As he leaped through the city, Cat Noir sang about being a lonely cat of the night because everyone else got be with their families but him. The hero got so angry to the point where he dared to used his Cataclysm on a Christmas tree but was stopped by memory of his mother and used it on a Gabriel Brand Ad pillar instead.

Then he began to lament that he didn't wanted to be alone and that tomorrow would be a new day with that Adrien detransformed and yet noticed Plagg exhausted cold and hungry. Picking him up, he apologized for his actions but didn't have any food for him, remembering Marinette's gift he opened it to find a hat and found it nice. Placing his kwami inside he wished Plagg a "Merry Christmas" then with help from Santa Claus the two are brought back home. Arriving there he comes across Ladybug who was convinced there was a villain around but tried to convince her that it wasn't Santa Claus.

Afterwards he sees that Ladybug's mistake led to Santa Claus being akumatized for real and they transformed again. Along with her they chased Santa Claws through the Paris streets using a box the duo manages to grab Santa Claws' hat, purify the akuma and save the holiday.

In "The Collector", Adrien was asked by his father why he took the book. He answers saying he wanted to know what Gabriel was hiding behind the portrait. Disappointed by his actions, he said he'd get him another copy however was informed that it was one of a kind and the source of his inspiration. As a result, he was banned from returning to school and that he would continue homeschooling with Nathalie and was disappointed. Later, Adrien was playing pool, contemplating how to get his father's book back so he could go back to school.

Then heard his father's destructive tantrum and rushed downstairs to see what the commotion was. Just as he reached the door to his father's atelier, Nathalie stopped him, being told his father was very busy. Then, reminded that he was supposed to be practicing his piano. Knowing his dad wouldn't forgive him unless he got the book back, he transformed into Cat Noir to find it. When he was about to leave, he saw a message sent by Ladybug that said she knew who Hawkmoth was. Arriving, he was told by Ladybug that she believed it was Gabriel Agreste leaving him shocked and asking for proof. Ladybug answered by saying she couldn't tell him the proof, but showed him evidence that supported her claims.

When they arrived at the Agreste mansion, Cat Noir saw how destructive Gabriel's tantrum was. Then, they went up to look for Adrien, but the Collector was there, waiting for them. He and Ladybug started to battle him, making sure not to get captured. He threw his staff at the villain but it was captured in his book then they retreated behind the staircase and made their way into Adrien's room barricading the door. Using a bike pedal, foosball table and his belt it resulted in the Collector's book being filled up defeating him.

After Gabriel returned to normal, Cat Noir rushed to him but when he asks about his son the heroes assured him that Adrien was safe and left (unknown that Ladybug was right.) After the book was returned, he admitted that he shouldn't have taken it without his consent in the first place. Adrien also heard that the book and him were the very last few things his mother gave to him before she disappeared. When his father came to a realization, Adrien asked if that meant he was able to go to school to which Gabriel agrees and he hugged him. Then, arrived at school and was happily greeted by his fellow classmates.

In "Prime Queen", Cat Noir appeared across from Nadja on a couch in the TV 5 studio. While waiting for the show to start, he jokingly told her that he loved chouquettes as the show almost aired he called Ladybug but received no answer. After the show's introduction, they engaged in a playful banter. When Nadja tried to get the two to admit they were dating, to Cat Noir's surprise, seeing a picture of them kiss on Valentines Day he asked when did that happen, continuing to gasp in shock as the pictures continued. After Ladybug denied her claims, he jokingly said that hopefully one day they'd be a couple but was led out of the room by her with an excuse that Paris needed saving.

When Nadja said that everyone would be disappointed, he agreed with Ladybug if they were true fans, they'd understand leaving with her. Out of the studio, still believing her he asked who needed help and was told that they needed saving from Nadja's questions. He retorted that was the price of stardom, but was reminded that they're superheroes, not stars. Following Ladybug, he proposed they go out for ice cream but their trip was halted by Prime Queen who was broadcasting from a billboard surprised to see Nadja akumatized. When invited to save Chloé, Cat Noir tested the billboard's intangibility with his staff passing through successfully the hero asked Ladybug if she was ready but she suggested getting there by their own means, he quickly rejected the idea, pointing out this was the fastest way.

Agreeing they both jumped through the screen, landing in the subway train where Chloé was held. After Prime Queen entered the room, they both agreed that Cat Noir would get the train's car door open and Ladybug would take care of Prime Queen. As she disappeared through a screen he realized they were trapped, he suggested using his Cataclysm but was stopped by Ladybug, insisting they used it for an emergency confused, he called their current situation one. But they needed to lure Prime Queen out to get her akuma deciding to play along, to the hero's surprise, his hand was grabbed by the heroine and confessed that they were in love to Prime Queen. As the train stopped he landed with Ladybug on top of him causing him to purr in delight to his surprise. Once again the villainess demanded they remove their miraculous so her ratings could max out, to prove their feelings he tried to kiss Ladybug but to his dismay, was rejected.

This time, she was threatening to push a trapped Alya into the Seine River. The heroes tried to follow through the screen to the Louvre, but ended up in a freezer. He again proposed to use Cataclysm but Ladybug saw no point in doing so and tried to kiss her, but was again rejected, so she used her Lucky Charm receiving a roll of tape. As Ladybug searched for another object to use with her Lucky Charm, Cat Noir urged her to hurry, as the tomb holding Alya was almost completely out of the screen. Using a pizza box, Ladybug taped onto the screen then, they baited her into the freezer, saying that they were taking off their miraculous and about to kiss. When she reached through, they pulled her in and subdued her. The cat used his staff to break Prime Queen's watch, his Cataclysm to destroy the door and Ladybug purified the akuma and saved Alya.

In "Despair Bear", Adrien was listening to Tom teach the class how to make macaroons. He followed the class out after the fire alarm went off. After everyone was outside, it turned out that Chloé had called the fire department. When Marinette was accused of the prank, he defended her, asking why she would want to disrupt her own father's cooking class. Even though, Marinette wanted to report Chloé; because of her suspicions Adrien discouraged the idea, saying they couldn't proof it. As a result, Denis Damocles punished everyone after no one confessed but, when Chloé got out of it Adrien was disappointed.

After seeing Chloé yell at Rose for sweeping to close to her. He confronted her, asking if she was the one who called the fire department, to which she admits, saying that "they all seemed to enjoy getting dirty making cookies." Hearing that, he ended their friendship until she learned how to be nicer to everyone. Later, he was invited to a party that Chloé was throwing in an effort to be nice and rekindle their friendship. When Adrien saw that Marinette had suspicions about the party, he commented that sometimes Chloé can be nice. Then, he was bumped by her and asked for a dance; leading Marinette to the dance floor. Shortly after they began dancing, Alya and Nino helped fix their hand positions after they left, they continued.

But the party was interrupted when Adrien and Marinette saw Sabrina and Kim being controlled by the villain Despair Bear, they exchanged excuses and rushed off to transform. As a controlled Kim tried to attack Ladybug, Cat Noir tripped him into the ball pit and made Despair Bear fly off his ankle. The heroes tried in vain to capture him however, he kept on jumping from person to person, leaving them confused. Until Despair Bear latched onto Cat Noir's leg and tried to take Ladybug's miraculous. When restrained by her, he made Cat Noir use his Cataclysm against her, but was pulled away by Chloé before he could. After Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm, receiving a fork he followed Ladybug upstairs and began to fight her.

As they fought Cat Noir attacked Ladybug with his staff but when the villain was unraveled, he was freed from his control. While she purified the akuma, he watched the tiny Despair Bear and yet fell over because of Jean Butler's sudden weight increase due to the Miraculous Cure. Afterwards Cat Noir rushed away when his ring showed he was about to transform back. After Chloé invited Tom over to teach them how to make macaroons, Adrien complimented Chloé on her kindness and renewed their friendship. After Adrien pinkie-swore that they'd be friends forever, she went on to insult everyone's macaroons. He laughed and told Marinette that Chloé would never change then asked her if he was able to have a macaroon. Marinette nervously told him he could and Adrien complimented her, saying was a good baker as a dancer.

In "Riposte", Adrien approached Marinette after hearing her compliment about him being handsome thanking her. He taught her about the rules of fencing complimenting that she had good reflexes and soon was locked in a fierce duel with the mysterious fencer after it Marinette claimed him the winner. He asked her if she was sure of what happened when but she wasn't he offered the mysterious fencer a decisive match. When she refused he tried to follow her and doing so Adrien researched his opponent. But was interrupted when Riposte attacked and demanded a rematch and yet he refused to fight her in her current state. Then, Ladybug soon arrived but seeing her outmatched he threw her his opponent's saber but when the heroine was cornered Adrien dived in to save her but sprained his ankle in the process.

Hiding behind a chimney Ladybug tried to call Cat Noir but received no answer Adrien claimed he was busy but when Riposte found them they tried to reason with her to no avail. As Ladybug and Riposte fought he took the opportunity to transform but Plagg told him he was taking a lot of risks however was interrupted when Ladybug found him and made their way to Louvre Museum. While in the sarcophagus, disregarding Plagg's protest and knowing she needed help he transformed into Cat Noir. Despite having a sprained ankle he arrived just in time to help his partner. Along with Ladybug after a fierce fight and using a radiator the duo was able to defeat Riposte.

Afterwards he left to detransform and let his presence be known to Ladybug asking her about Cat Noir finally arriving and she was glad that he did admitting he was better at fencing than she was. Seeing Ladybug leave Adrien secretly blew a kiss; outside the museum he makes up with Kagami believing the point was hers. But she remained doubtful he explained that it was Marinette's first time fencing. When she playfully admits that Adrien liked her he says that Marinette was good friend and waited to give Kagami a decisive match.

In "Befana", sometime before Marinette's birthday Adrien was talking to Alya about it but when they saw her listening he switched the subject about taking Alya's sisters to the dentist. After the preparations were done he along with his classmates wished her a happy birthday and gave Marinette a small gift but before she could open it Befana ruined the celebration. Finding a quick place to hide Adrien transformed into Cat Noir. The cat tried to defend Marinette from her akumatized grandmother but was under attack by her minion but thanks to Marinette's friends they provided him with an opportunity to get her to safety.

Carrying her away he said she must be a very cool girl if her friends are willing to protect her and asked Marinette why her grandmother was freaking out she explained that her grandmother wanted to spend more time with her. After getting Marinette to the Eiffel Tower the hero told her happy birthday before leaving to deal with Befana and her angels. Upon finding her, Cat Noir used his staff to block the way and broke into a song with Ladybug finishing it. As they fought Befana's angels he saw the villain was heading towards the tower and tried to steer her ride in another direction but got knocked off and caught by Ladybug. After the angels were dealt with Cat Noir noticed that the akuma was hiding in the Befana's candy bag, once the heroine summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a tuba he was surprised that she knew how to play but Ladybug replied she didn't.

Soon the ground crumbled below them, then they were surrounded by Befana and her minions when he heard Ladybug admit defeat and then winked at him. Cat Noir played along admitting to her that Marinette was here leading the way separating Befana from her angels. Worried that he betrayed her, he was relieved not to find Marinette in the closest and was assured by Ladybug that she was safe. By using Cataclysm on a fire hydrant and the tuba; the heroes were able to save Marinette's grandmother. Returning to the party, Adrien gave his gift to Marinette a lucky charm bracelet he made himself, explaining that he always carries the bracelet she gave him everywhere he goes. As the party goes on Adrien smiled at the bracelet.

In "Robostus", Adrien was having science with his classmates, after watching Max and Markov fix the computer system he marveled at the sight of the little robot. But when Max voiced concerns about Markov being separated and saw the robot's akumatization, he and Plagg quickly hid understanding that Markov did have emotions and transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting up with Ladybug the duo tried to reason with Robostus, but were tossed out of the school and fought Robostus' army throughout the city. Shortly after Cat Noir revealed he could translate Morse code with the new mayor saying that the city would be ruled by robots. But knowing where Robostus was going they went to the Parc des Princes stadium. During their fight, he and Ladybug were surrounded and captured, then Cat Noir was asked if could use his Cataclysm but couldn't due to being restrained.

Since the cat was unable to see he asked Ladybug what's going on and heard that Robostus wanted to use their jewels to make a wish to become human. Which he found strange because he knew that it was always Hawk Moth that demanded their jewels. They were about to have their powers taken but thanks to Max's intervention they were set free. After he dodged the machines the cat used Cataclysm on Robostus's robot and with a harp the heroes saved Max and reunited him with Markov.

In "The Dark Owl", over the past week Adrien has been transforming into Cat Noir to save The Owl who was actually Denis Damocles trying to be his own hero. During the end of the school day, Adrien was excited to play an online game with Nino but when Denis Damocles hurried them out he said he had to continue with his Chinese lessons and sadly looked back in the principal's direction. After they saved The Owl for the fifth time Cat Noir and Ladybug talked on the rooftops on how to deal with him despite that he admired the man's good heart. He offered to stop Denis Damocles by the scaring him but instead wanted to make his dream come true agreeing he returned home for the night. After Adrien finished school the next day he informed Nino that he still had Chinese lessons but was free tomorrow and looked back in Denis Damocles' direction with a smile.

He transformed and went with Ladybug to Alya's house to ask for a favor. When Alya staged as a convincing super-villain Cat Noir praised her for a good performance. Once they staged everything for The Owl, things took a disastrous turn which caused The Owl's identity to be revealed where he hoped no one would find out. By nightfall, while watching tv Adrien became shocked that their little plan caused Denis Damocles' akumatization and to threatened harmless animals. He transformed into Cat Noir and went to the stadium meeting up with Ladybug after they stayed in contact the cat distracted Dark Owl with a conversation while Ladybug tried find the akuma. After she got flunged into the stadium he caught her and had a brief fight with the villain but resulted in the duo using their powers and tricked into a trap. However, he and Ladybug discovered Dark Owl's plot was faked just to lure them.

Inside the crate, since they used their powers earlier Cat Noir saw no other way out admitting they've lost. In an effort to fool Dark Owl, he was informed by Ladybug that they were going detransform but have their eyes closed thinking they were giving up for real he was hesitant until Ladybug assured him. As they did so, Adrien gave her his ring but she closed his hand; surprised he wanted to speak but his mouth was closed by Tikki. Once Plagg was recharged he retransformed and used Cataclysm destroying the crate. After another fight, they discovered that the akumatized object isn't on Dark Owl but back at the school. But the villain got out of the cat's grip he followed him to the school after he caught up Cat Noir saw that Dark Owl was defeated. The next day he and Ladybug witnessed The Owl become a hero smaller scale and with that they had more free time. He asked Ladybug if she wanted to catch a movie but when she spoke of other plans he watched her leave love struck.

In "Gigantitan", Adrien was in the middle of a photo shoot at the Trocadéro and waved hello a baby boy named August, not too faraway he noticed the boy's mother having trouble and wanted to help but was told by Vincent to stay put. Then, he left to meet with his bodyguard upon seeing him Adrien noticed an akuma heading right for him but akumatized August into Gigantitan instead. After he found a hiding place, he transforms into Cat Noir then after getting the baby's attention with his bell. He tried to lure him to the river but ends up getting caught and found by Ladybug. Quickly escaping the heroes discovered that the akuma was in Gigatitan's bracelet but after Ladybug's failed attempt he commented that she wasn't too good with kids either. After he heard of her plan to use the Eiffel Tower as a playpen he commented it would work in theory but was unsure on how to get him there, thinking it'd be simpler if Ladybug used her Lucky Charm.

He and Ladybug used themselves as lures and offered to sing the lullaby but she teasingly said they wanted to calm him down not burst his eardrums and the cat retorted back saying that he had a great voice and would serenade to her someday. However Gigantitan got distracted again until the cat got his attention with a car saying he enjoyed playing with cars too when he was little. Once they were at the tower Cat Noir attempted to use Cataclysm on the kid's bracelet, but got thrown off and crashed into André's ice cream stand and used it on an ice cream cone. Reuniting with Ladybug, with not much time left using a treat as a disguise and Cat Noir's bell the duo was able to finally capture the akuma where Ladybug admitted he was good at taking care of babies and reunited August with his mother.

Meeting up with his bodyguard, Adrien was approached by Marinette who asked if he could hang out with her but seeing his bodyguard's frustration he turned down her offer. But offered her a ride home instead, however from her mixed up answer she turned him down by saying she would take a coleslaw home but (meant to say rickshaw). And yet, he told Marinette to enjoy her dinner and see her at school tomorrow.

In "Glaciator", Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and worked with Ladybug to save people from a runaway bus. After that he invited her to have a rooftop dinner with him as a chance to know each other but she had other plans accepting that he said if her plans ended early she could join and went home. Then, Adrien was at the dinner table waiting for his father but was informed that he wasn't coming leaving him disappointed and texted Nino that he couldn't come to their night out. Afterwards, he returned to his room; gave Plagg a piece of Camembert telling his kwami to fuel up and used his phone to record practicing piano piece. Determined about his date with Ladybug, Adrien told Plagg even though she didn't say yes she didn't say no either.

But nonetheless, he transformed into Cat Noir, left his room heading towards the balcony date spot, finished the preparations and waited for Ladybug. After being let down by her, he blew out all the candles and was extremely heartbroken noticing Marinette not too faraway. He approached her asking if he could stick around not wanting to be alone and remembered meeting her once when she mentioned about having bad luck about the supervillain being in love with her. He related to having relationship problems of his own and spoke of the special dinner date he planned for Ladybug but she didn't come. Through their conversation Cat Noir saw that Marinette had her heart broken too wanting to cheer her up, he took her to the date spot he prepared but was still glum that his lady didn't come. And yet expressed hope she would but as Marinette tried to cheer him up they were under fire by Glaciator finding a place to hide the hero asked her if another villain had a crush on her but Marinette said no. Taking Marinette home he was thanked by her for cheering her up.

Finding Glaciator, Cat Noir tried to fight against him but was sent flying until he was caught by Ladybug. Angrily he asked her how her date went with her "friends" but after evacuating people to safety and taking cover themselves they saw that Glaciator didn't attack couples. When he heard of Ladybug's idea for them to act as a couple he refused saying it's not cool to play with people's feelings and attacked the villain but failed until he was shielded by the heroine. Taking cover again and seeing that the cat was angry at her for missing their date she apologized, seeing her sincerity he apologized too and went along with Ladybug's couple plan. After they got close enough they discovered André was inside the monster and using a makeshift propeller and Cataclysm on a bus they saved Paris from being buried under a mountain of ice cream.

Now alone so they could talk at the dating spot, Cat Noir discovered Ladybug was in love with someone else but considered him a close friend. Respecting her honesty he told her she was his best friend too and gave her a kiss as well as a rose complimenting it went with her costume before leaving. Returning home, Adrien was asked if he had a heart ache over Ladybug rejecting him, but he didn't still held onto hope that she would love him someday and accepted his friendship with her. The next day, Adrien approached André's ice cream stand as he heard that his ice cream was magical and said you have to believe to make it work and André agreed then was given a cone that made him think of Ladybug and enjoyed his ice cream.

In "Sapotis", after Adrien witnessed the damage the Sapotis had done on television, he transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting up with Ladybug, he saw her destroy the monster's hat and asked how did she know and said it was through trial and error. But saw that there was no akuma and discovered that they had to destroy the original hat. He quickly understood that they had to capture them all but after going through many clones they had no luck soon he and Ladybug got completely overwhelmed and surrounded. Then, he was confused when Ladybug's Lucky Charm gave her a teapot as he battled more Sapotis' he told the heroine that his kung fu wasn't enough. Once Ladybug understood the teapot's purpose, Cat Noir was shocked that she had to leave but trusting her he told her to go. The hero did his best to hold off the Sapotis' but wondered what was taking Ladybug so long and was overwhelmed again.

He almost had his ring taken until Cat Noir was saved by Ladybug and their new ally. Upon seeing her he was amazed as the cat thought he was Ladybug's only superhero friend and was introduced to Rena Rouge welcoming her to their team. For the moment he enjoyed playfully teasing Rena seeing that working with her was going to be fun. But they were surrounded again and retreated to higher ground while Ladybug gathered the materials she needed Cat Noir and Rena Rouge drove the little monsters back. Then, moved to a new area to enact Ladybug's plan seeing the Sapotis close in he told Rena it's time to use her mirage powers. After instructing her, he noticed that she would transform back soon but wasn't worried as he could keep her secret but when Rena refused Cat Noir praised her for learning fast. When the fox voiced concerned if the plan would work he assured her it would and after collecting all the hats he used Cataclysm to destroy them. Once Alya's sisters were returned to normal, Rena Rouge had to leave but he looked forward to working with her again and returned the twins home.

In "Gorizilla", Adrien approached his father asking for a favor but when he heard Gabriel's response he realized it'd be too late by then and leaves. Soon he snuck out of his room and made his way to the Paris streets trying to keep a low profile which was easier said than done when he came across a fan named Wayhem. Soon his picture was posted on the internet, noticing his bodyguard he tried to run but was soon chased by a mob of fans. Until he ran into Marinette knowing she lived close by Adrien asked if he could hide at her place but hearing the fan mob he realized it was too late. Following her, they hid in the park fountain where he thanked her for hiding him as people went crazy over the new ad he modeled in. Marinette expressed excitement over it but Adrien was embarrassed by it and yet was surprised to see her in pajamas.

Remembering the task at hand, they both came out of hiding but upon seeing his body guard Adrien pulled Marinette back down. Explaining that he left his house without permission but they were spotted by another fan who took a picture of them and had to move again. Arriving at the train station Adrien apologized to Marinette for dragging her into this and for the idea of people thinking she was his girlfriend but she said flusteringly it was no problem. He was asked if his father was going to be okay with this, Adrien retorts how could anything bad happen and pulled out his Lucky Charm. And yet, their moment was ruined by another fan mob realizing they couldn't stay he grabbed Marinette's hand and tried to run but was quickly surrounded seeing their only means to escape he pushed her into an opened train car.

Upon wearing disguises the duo made it to the theaters and Adrien was complimented by Marinette for coming here. He told her this was actually where he was going when the fan mob showed up because the theater was showing a movie where his mother was playing the leading role. However, as soon as Adrien took off his helmet he and Marinette were swarmed again things went from bad to worse when Placide I.T. was akumatized into Gorizilla and was taken captive. Being carried to the tallest building he apologized to Ladybug for all the trouble seeing at Ladybug's urging he jumped off the building seeing him plummeting to his doom Plagg advised him to transform but couldn't. And yet, he was caught by Ladybug landing safely on the ground he almost called her his lady but caught himself.

However, he noticed she was about to detransform but Gorizilla was still on the loose and carried away by the heroine. Then was asked where the villain's akuma might be noticing Ladybug's time he advised that he'll hide while waiting for Cat Noir to show up but she retorts by saying it'd be too late by then having an idea he heard of his partner's plan. He agreed to act as bait but also heard Ladybug say that she needed his Cataclysm for it to work when he voiced concerns about him not showing up the heroine says she trusts him. However, Adrien was asked by Plagg on how was his going to pull it off since he couldn't be in two places at once. With Wayhem acting as his double they transformed into Cat Noir using Cataclysm on the ground below the heroes were able to stop Gorizilla.

Coming from his hiding spot Adrien thanked Wayhem for filling in for him and believed that the incident changed his opinion of him but Wayhem said he had the best day ever being in Adrien's shoe for a bit. Upon hearing his apology, Adrien gave him his email address believing that the two could be good friends. Returning home, he was met by his father believing he'd be angry but to his surprise Adrien saw the movie sitting next to his father he was reminded that all he had to do was ask and they had to trust each other as they continued watching the movie.

In "Captain Hardrock", Adrien was playing a piece on the piano with his father watching upon making a sour note he was stopped by him. Then, he was asked if he had been practicing that's when Adrien suggested that he would improve if he played with others but Gabriel retorted against it. Then, when he mentioned about going to his friend's concert but ended up being grounded and was told to continuing practicing. As Adrien practiced he was approached by Plagg who tried to cheer him up by saying that he could enjoy the concerts from the comforts of home. But he said that his friend's concert was all that mattered Plagg tried to sing Adrien his own concert appreciating it but was still bummed.

When they witnessed Captain Hardrock's destruction on the news he transformed into Cat Noir. With Ladybug the duo tried to control the ship or anchor it with no success, but by using a chain on the ship's compass the vessel ran aground with everyone on solid ground Cat Noir used Cataclysm and destroyed the ship. Back at his room, he asked his father if he could play with him as a duet afterwards Gabriel agreed to let him attend his friend's concert. Making it in time he meets Luka and takes part in the concert as the band's keyboard player.

In "Frightningale", at home Adrien heard from his father that Clara was a fan of his and seeing this as a promotional opportunity for Gabriel's business in other countries. Adrien was surprised that he was going to part in Clara's video, but seeing that the costume looked like his Cat Noir costume he almost refused until his father insisted. At the studio, Adrien looked himself in the mirror while Plagg was very impressed with the costume but he felt uncomfortable. The kwami agreed that he wasn't too fond of the bell but admitted the costume was something Adrien wanted deep down.

However, he was more concerned with everyone figuring out his identity until Plagg assured him they wouldn't. Then, had the idea to act as lame as possible so the crew would pick someone else and was surprised at the number of people that auditioned to be Ladybug including Chloé, when his father asked about his mask Adrien said he couldn't find it and also heard that Marinette changed her mind about Clara's offer. Despite being nervous they were doing alright until it was time to put on the masks despite the duo claiming that they had lost them they were easily found. Just before Adrien put on the mask Chloé came into the studio and cancelled Clara's shoot which caused the singer to be akumatized into Frightningale. Finding a hiding place he and Plagg transformed into Cat Noir however even with Ladybug they found it difficult to fight her and became affected being forced to sing and dance. But thanks to a pair of handcuffs the heroes movements were synced preventing them from being turned into statues. Then, used Cataclysm on Frightningale's mike, the Miraculous Ladybug returning everyone to normal and saved Clara.

Watching Clara's new video from the school's library Adrien says he liked this version believing he couldn't have pulled off being Cat Noir. With Marinette believing that he didn't look a thing like the hero he complimented Marinette believing that Ladybug wasn't as funny as her leading to everyone sharing a laugh.

In "Syren", Cat Noir worked together with Ladybug and Rena Rouge to round up some escaped zoo animals leading a pair of panthers into a cage. When he saw that Ladybug and Rena had to leave the hero expressed annoyance about being kept in the dark and the heroine explained that she would talk to him about it and voiced that he hated secrets. Returning home, Adrien voiced out his frustrations about Ladybug keeping secrets from him through his action figures and asked Plagg if he knew anything but the kwami couldn't be swayed. Until Adrien tried to bribe him with cheese and continued until he noticed his room was filling up with water but told him this wasn't over before transforming.

Seeing the streets flooded he found Ladybug telling her that he didn't know she was going swimming but understood that cats weren't crazy about water and knew that they had to fight Syren underwater. The cat jokingly asked Ladybug about summoning her Lucky Charm and received a potion bowl, upon seeing it he said they could scoop out the water but it'd take forever. After Ladybug understood it's purpose Cat Noir had to wait while his partner sought out help becoming annoyed again about secrets. Fed up with waiting Adrien detransformed, grabbing his ring he threatened to quit being Cat Noir if Plagg didn't tell him what Ladybug was hiding. When Plagg retorted he shouldn't do that he reminds him that no one would know or care. Until Plagg mentioned that he would care if Adrien quits and believes the reason would be his love of cheese. And yet, the kwami admitted that he was close friend and making Adrien smile then they were approached by a man. The boy quickly noticed him as the man he helped before and was informed that everything would be explained later as well as that Ladybug needed help being given a green vial Plagg understood what it meant saying he hated transforming.

Now with the playing field leveled in their new "Aqua Mode" Cat Noir joined Ladybug by bringing the villain to the surface they defeated Syren, saved Paris from flooding and thanked Ladybug for keeping her promise. Back at the mansion, Adrien was practicing his Chinese until was approached by Mister Chan posing as his substitute tutor. When Nathalie left, Plagg officially introduced him to Master Wang Fu the guardian of the Miraculous. So he could understand more about the magic jewels and was also given a box of Camembert cheese with each wedge containing different powers when the time came to use them.

In "Zombizou", in the Locker Room Adrien heard that it was Miss Bustier's birthday like his classmates he prepared a gift for her expressing joy that she was his teacher. Along with his friends he was amazed at the gift Marinette prepared and asked Chloé if she made one too. Afterwards, Adrien went to his classes finally arriving in Miss Bustier's he wasn't too surprised that Marinette's gift was ruined by Chloé. Upon Ms. Bustier's returned he was shocked to see that she was akumatized into Zombizou, but thanks to Ladybug's intervention he and his classmates escaped. But upon seeing something wrong with Sabrina he discovered that the kisses were contagious an ran into the Locker Room with the others.

Upon opening his locker Adrien pretended to be infected seeing past his act Plagg asked him if it was a trick to get a kiss out of Ladybug but he said that he needed to work under the radar and transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting his partner on the roof he understood that Zombizou was after Chloé with the zombies closing in; eyeing a nearby bus he was asked by Ladybug if he knew how to drive and answered yes. Using his staff and belt they got everyone safely inside but his driving skills weren't very good so they decided to take Chloé to the Eiffel Tower. Carrying her the rest of the way, he saw that his partner was distraught at losing the rest of their friends. And yet, comforted Ladybug by reminding her that she'll fix everything in the end. Reaching the top of the tower he was surrounded by Zombizou's minions and tossed Chloé to her. While trying to keeping them at bay it was only a matter of time before he came under the spell he told Ladybug that he'd chill out here and if they were going to end up kissing he'd rather do it after the madness was over.

Even though, Ladybug refused to leave Cat Noir said she was the only one who could fix this and then collapsed under the minion's weight. Now fully a zombie he used Cataclysm to get into the office and tried to kiss Ladybug but latched onto Chloé instead. When everyone was cured by the magic ladybugs he was pushed away by her, after Zombizou's defeat they heard Chloé's heartfelt apology to Miss Bustier being proud of and returned home. Then, Adrien went to school the next day.

In "Frozer", after saving a runaway para-glider, Cat Noir had a daydream in which he presented Ladybug with a rose asking again if she'll accept him as her boyfriend and revealed his identity to her but was brought back to reality by Ladybug. He was informed again that she was in love with another guy (unaware that it's his alterego). And yet, asked Ladybug would she give him a chance if this guy wasn't around but she answers she can't imagine (unaware that she has a crush on his alter ego). They detransformed and went off to school.

Adrien came to fencing pratice but was easily beaten by Kagami. In the locker room, he told her that he was having trouble with his love life and was advised to change targets. When Adrien thought about changing his game Plagg gave him advice on how he greets Camembert although thankful his wielder told him that his advice might be best suited to someone else. During a visit at the ice rink Plagg was surprised that Adrien left Kagami for Marinette but Adrien told him she's just a friend wanting to check if she was okay. But soon the whole ice rink and all of Paris was getting covered in ice because of the akumatized villain Frozer. Thanks to the heroes new Ice Mode they were they transformed into Ice Noir, however due to their previous encounter he gave Ladybug the "cold shoulder" leaping off as he preferred to track and observe.

But upon seeing Frozer as well as Ladybug under fire he ducked in to save her admitting that they needed a plan and was admired for he is observing skills and with a bag of salt they were able to save Paris from being a frozen wasteland. Returning to the ice rink he helped Philleppe save it while informing Kagami that he won't change targets and she accepts his decesion leaving for home. However, he soon hears Marinette greeting her Adrien hears Marinette's offer about going to the ice rink again surprised he asked just the two of them. That's when Marinette flusterling asks of bringing the whole gang answering that he'll clear his schedule.

In "Style Queen", Adrien was getting ready for Fashion Week show but felt awkward with Plagg commenting he looked ridiculous but heard someone coming and saw Marinette. To whom he saw looking incredibly nervous but assured her that her hat design was great or his father wouldn't have picked it as the winner of the contest. He briefly showed it off to her to whom he thanked for the compliment. Then, the show went well and Adrien shared a quick glance a Marinette until Style Queen attacked looking for Gabriel. He proclaimed that his father wasn't here; which ended with him being turned into a glitter statue. Then held prisoner by the villain at the Eiffel Tower and was given Style Queen's flower along with a protective force field but was fading away. After the villainess' defeat, he was revived with the Miraculous Ladybug (superpower), brought back to the show by Ladybug and thanked her for saving him.

In "Troublemaker", Adrien was watching the show "Fill My Shoes" in his room and was asked by Plagg why he was watching this show. He said the show was being filmed at Marinette's house as the showed continued he was surprised to see that she had many pictures of him. When he saw that Troublemaker had appeared he transformed into Cat Noir and went off to the bakery once there he tried to open the locked gate but with no good. The cat attempted to use his powers but the villain heard what he was doing and threw him into the side of a van until Ladybug pulled him up to Marinette's Balcony.

Landing on Marinette's bed, he eyed her many photos until Ladybug averted his gaze but upon hearing Troublemaker's attack he used her bed in self-defense. Cat Noir and Ladybug tried to fight the villain but had trouble to do her intangibility when he saw Troublemaker trying to take Ladybug's earrings he tripped her and knocked away the villain's pen. Also he understood the villain's power was also her weakness resuming the fight Cat Noir almost had his ring taken but was prevented by Ladybug and yet was tangled in her yo-yo. Seeing his partner's forced detransformation he freed himself and used Cataclysm to have the villain drop the earring. Back on his feet he told Ladybug he wasn't expecting her to share her identity like that.

Still holding in his power after the heroine summoned her Lucky Charm receiving a broken plate. At first, when Ladybug didn't see how to use it Cat Noir suggested maybe losing an earring weakened her power. Following her back to Marinette's room per part of the plan he proceeded to check outside for Troublemaker. Upon hearing the broken plate he reenters the room revealing their trick (super-gluing Ladybug's earrings). With Troublemaker solid Cat Noir was able to grab the pen and destroy it deakumatizing Penny. Joining Ladybug on the balcony he was playfully told that he won't be finding out her identity and Cat Noir retorts calling her the girl of his dreams.

At school the next day, Adrien approached Marinette in the locker room to check on her albeit surprised her by accident. Then, asking about the photographs he hears from Marinette that she's really into fashion. In a teasing manner he asked if she was lying but understood saying he got use to having lots of fans as well as photographs of him everywhere. Knowing of Marinette's passion he asked if she like to come to his next photoshoot hearing her response Adrien said he'd keep her posted. Leaving he told Marinette that he'll see her in class and was happy to have her as one of his fans.

In "Queen Wasp", the show resumed with Adrien showing off Marinette's hat until he was surprised as everyone to see his father and even more so received a hug from him. After the show was over he encouraged Marinette to stand proud for her design, when he heard that she had the chance to go to New York Adrien was happy as well as excited at the idea of modeling for her. He asked Chloé if she felt the same but was saddened to see Audrey disregard her and was shocked when Chloé transformed running off with the Bee Miraculous. He was escorted back to the limo and home with his father hoping Chloé doesn't do anything reckless. Upon hearing about the "runaway train" Adrien and Plagg quickly transformed into Cat Noir.

After he and Ladybug stopped the supposed "runaway train", Cat Noir was angry at Chloé for using her powers to create a problem. When Ladybug demanded the Bee Miraculous back and Chloé refused with shock he easily figured out that his partner lost it and yet was pulled away by her reminding him of the events of "Style Queen". But soon they realized Queen Bee was gone and chased after her back to the hotel but the job of retrieving the Miraculous was harder than they thought as they found Chloé akumatized into Queen Wasp with it and paralyzed everyone. During the fight they realized the akuma was in her jewel but had trouble getting to it without being stung, they managed to escape the swarm by going underwater. Coming up for air and seeing that Ladybug's Lucky Charm gave her a snorkel he said the charm had a funny sense of humor taking in the fact she won't drown.

With that in mind Cat Noir and Ladybug used trashcan bins to protect themselves and went back to the hotel. By taking the fight underwater they avoided Queen Wasp's swarm and using Cataclysm to destroy the jewel the heroes returned Chloé to normal and resurfaced. But thanks to the Miraculous Ladybug, the jewel was restored, he and Ladybug looked sadly at Chloé saying it must be returned but was begged by her for another chance. After seeing her get disregarded by Audrey again Cat Noir comforted her understanding why she did this and along with Ladybug encouraged her to do the right thing. With the Bee Miraculous returned, he accepted Chloé's apology and returned home.

In "Reverser", Adrien saw Marc and Marinette spying on Nathaniel saying it's not cool to spy on people. But she nervously explained that they were working on a surprise for him. Accepting her answer he said that was thoughtful of her and offered his help if she needed it leaving the school. On his way home Adrien along with his bodyguard were struck in traffic. Looking out his window he was shocked to see Ladybug flying through the air by the villain Reverser. He told the Gorilla that he left his fencing gloves behind saying he'll meet him later and quickly transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting with her, he was ready to take on Reverser, but being distracted by his partner caused the cat became an easy target causing him to be afraid of everything. Which caused them to fall into the river; pulling themselves to shore Cat Noir was worried he'd catch a cold but was reminded by Ladybug that they had to stop Reverser. Still afraid he didn't want to fight but was encouraged by her to pursue him by looking for Nathaniel they tried to leave but realized they weren't going anywhere.

Taking a cab to the school, the heroes saw that Reverser beat them there and yet eyeing one of Nathaniel's drawings they discovered that he's at the Louvre Museum. Where the scaredy cat realized they had to take another cab making it to the museum they asked him for help. After hearing the news he asked about Marinette but Ladybug said there was no time, knowing he wouldn't be much help Cat Noir opted to stay behind. When Alix offered to help the hero was welcomed to it heading to Eiffel Tower the group saw the space dumpsters coming down which caused the kitty to shake in fear under his blanket.

But was comforted by Ladybug knowing they could do this, knowing even with powers messed up they were still a team. As apart of the plan he and Nathaniel were purposely given to Reverser's demands but the hero was actually blindfolded and tied to a makeshift kite. With Alix doing the steering he used Cataclysm on the villain's hoverboard, thanks to his confidence being restored by the Miraculous Ladybug. He caught Marc setting him on the ground and was happy they were returned to normal.

In "Anansi", through video chat on his phone Adrien along with Marinette at Alya's house watched and admired how Alya and Nino were in perfect sync with each other expressing that he'd wished that he had someone like that. But when Marinette voiced disappointment that he wasn't allowed to come, Adrien didn't take it too hard seeing that one day his father won't see him as a child anymore. Then heard from Alya's sister Nora that Alya wasn't allowed to go out because of the danger of akumatized villains. When Alya spoke of her sister's overprotectiveness Adrien learned from Marinette when they were out Nora attacked someone who she thought was akumatized but was actually a normal guy in a costume. Then, he refereed the arm wrestling match between Nino and Nora and saw that Nino won.

After he saw his friends in danger he and Plagg transformed into Cat Noir. However with Anansi's great strength the heroes found it difficult to fight against her. Soon the cat was caught in her web and when the villainess went for the ring he invoked his Cataclysm to protect it. Then while wait for Ladybug to return Cat Noir tried his best to guide Nino impressed by his wits in combat seeing Ladybug return with the help of their new ally Carapace, heard the spider's comment and by challenging Anansi to a "fight". With Carapace's powers the hero was set free and asked Ladybug if he was truly replaced, once Anansi's helmet was destroyed and Alya was saved. Heard from the heroine herself that he was irreplacable making him smile.

In "Malediktator", Adrien along with his classmates watched Chloé’s documentary but unlike everyone else he couldn't laugh about it and was shocked when she stormed off. Sometime later, he heard from Marinette that Chloé left for New York leaving him saddened. However, when Marinette talked ill will about her Adrien retorted that no one was useless and that she was his only friend growing up with that in mind he couldn't celebrate her unhappy departure. But soon Malediktator enters the scene and Adrien transforms into Cat Noir after a brief scuffle he and Ladybug retreat to higher ground. After Ladybug summoned an abacus with her Lucky Charm the cat says he'll take care of Malediktator while she figures out how to use it. He attempted to use his Cataclysm on the super mayor but it left Cat Noir wide open leading him to being hit with Malediktator's bubbles turning him into a real cat. Soon he becomes Audrey's pet and yet he was still wary of the villain clawing away at him.

Cat Noir was napping until, his eye caught a dot from Ladybug's laser pointer while trying to catch it he knocked out the guards leaving Malediktator defenseless and was soon returned to normal by the Miraculous Ladybug cure. Joining the ladies he was disappointed that he missed out on a party and yet was proud that Ladybug and Queen Bee were working together for real. After Chloé left with her parents he apologized to Ladybug for not being helpful but she retorts saying that he was big helped surprised he asked for details but with her time almost up Ladybug said she'll tell him next time. The next day, Adrien attended another party for Chloé but this time it was her heroic actions as Queen Bee and praised Marinette for it.

In "Sandboy", Adrien was reading a book in his room and wished Plagg a goodnight who was going to bed (but snuck out). After awhile he saw his room change into cage bars, he tried to wake up Plagg but was horrified that he was turned into a sock. As the bars started to close in on him Adrien tried to call his father or Nathalie for help but to no avail. He desperately tried to break the bars but it was unless until Plagg arrived; Adrien was relieved he wasn't a sock but wanted a good explanation. He quickly transformed into Cat Noir and used Cataclysm to break the bars.

He found the city a mess of living nightmares and was joined by Ladybug, however it wasn't easy fighting Sandboy with his sand blowing everywhere. After seeing his partner become powerless because of it he defended her and soon got struck with the sand too but still had his powers intact. The cat explained losing his wasn't what he feared most but Ladybug hating and trying to destroy him. Fighting an evil Ladybug while defending the real one he advised her to come up with a plan quick as he was about to detransform. By tricking the evil Ladybug and using a piece of her weapon the duo was able to defeat Sandboy. Upon hearing what happened the young boy explained he was akumatized because of a nightmare, saying that's what happens when you let kids watch whatever they want on tv with little time left Cat Noir asked Ladybug to return the young man home. After that he was asked by Ladybug if he really thought she was anything like his nightmare he replied she wasn't calling her the girl of his dreams.

He returned home and was approached by Plagg who hugged him saying thank you. Confused he asked Plagg if something was wrong but the kwami thanked him for letting him his freedom mostly. And yet Adrien completely understood why Plagg left saying he knew what it was like to have restricted freedom and all he had to do was ask. Touched he was embraced by Plagg again calling him the best Cat Noir ever but he doesn't want he him to get too mushy about it.

In "Catalyst", after dealing with a late night akumatized villain Adrien returned home and detransform. While Plagg was eating Camembert he already knew they were heroes and wanted to go back to bed until Adrien explained that today was Heroes' Day where everyone has to do one good deed. While at school, he was still disappointed with Lila's lies and yet was surprised that Marinette was going to doing a big macaroon tasting. Sometime later, Adrien returned to school, excitingly Marinette that he got permission from his father to coming to her tasting and the two walk inside the school. However, that's when they hear from the news about Ladybug's akumatization and Cat Noir's destruction to make matters even worse that's when Hawk Moth commenced his biggest plan yet. By amplifying his powers the mastermind sent a swarm of red akumas to the school.

Despite saving Adrien and Marinette, many of his friends were reakumatized after finding a safe place, he attempted to transform but was halted by Gorizilla. With him giving the okay, Adrien was freed by Plagg and transformed into Cat Noir, informing Ladybug that their battle was going to be a full house. Joining with his partner, the cat was giving the Bee Miraculous aware that they were going to need the full team. Arriving at Chloé's he plugs the bee signal and seeing her snarky behavior, he turns to leave to find another Queen Bee and Chloé takes back what she said and then joined with the rest of his allies. He quietly asks Ladybug what's the plan.

In "Mayura", despite the team putting up a good fight Cat Noir and Ladybug lost their allies as well as they were about to detransform back. But thanks to him using Cataclysm on the ground below them the duo escaped, afterwards he gave Plagg a piece of Camembert to recharge and accepted to share it. When he heard Ladybug express doubt on how to beat Hawk Moth commenting that he found a way amplify his powers like they did. But remaining unfazed he gave Ladybug words of encouragement if their team crumbled then he proposed to go back to being a duo and do what they do best giving people hope. Soon they were found by the army Adrien and Plagg retransformed into their Aqua Mode but upon resurfacing they still found themselves outnumbered.

But with the Paris Rebellion's help along the way he and Ladybug see the reason to keep hope alive. Making it to the tower they managed to corner Hawk Moth and summoned his Cataclysm despite Scarlet Moth trying to reason with the duo Cat Noir wouldn't listen aware of the consequences of such a wish. Soon as he and Ladybug closed in Scarlet Moth, he was pushed out of the way by Ladybug to discover the Scarlet Moth they were talking to was an illusion leading to a fight with him; the hero manages to catch the mastermind's cane destroying it and deakumatized everyone. They were locked into hand to hand combat with him but lost and yet were saved by Rena and the others.

He and the team were about to close in on him again but they were blown away by a Moth creature. After the creature disappeared they all noticed a feather realizing their archenemy had help thanks to the Peacock Miraculous holder and that Hawk Moth escaped but managed to save the city. With Cat Noir's time almost up he retrieved the Bee Miraculous from Chloé and returned it to Ladybug. Afterwards, Adrien attended Marinette's picnic sitting next to her but soon had to leave for his father's banquet but before he left. He commended Marinette for her kindness and willingness to help others calling her their "Everyday Ladybug". As he left he was approached by Marinette and surprised that she kissed him on the cheek to express her thanks and quietly thanked her.

Miraculous Shanghai

Plagg went with Adrien to Shanghai on a business trip with Adrien's father Gabriel while there he heard Adrien pick up a call from his father but seeing his wielder disappointed with Gabriel's response. Plagg agreed that Adrien's father wouldn't change then began to crave food and was excited that they were going to Wang Shifu's Thousand Delights resturant. When Marinette was lost in the city and Adrien wanted to find her as Cat Noir, Plagg was curious on how his owner would explain the presence of a hero here and was told not to worry about it transforming regardless. Things escalated when Cat Noir got a call from Ladybug about Hawk Moth and his akumas being in Shanghai despite stopping King Cash; the hero trio were now fighting against Mei Shi akumatized as YanLuoShi. Despite the groups best efforts Plagg ended up being eradicated along with Adrien by the villain but thanks to Ladydragon and Ladybug both were revived.

Season 3

In "Chameleon", Adrien saw that Lila had returned to school and yet still wasn't fascinated by her stories. Then, he was approached by her asking if he could help her with her homework because of her tinnitus. Calmly Adrien said that he isn't against helping her but urged Lila to be honest with him and if she continues her lies she'll make enemies instead but watched Lila storm off.

Soon afterwards Adrien was put to sleep by an akumatized Lila and shoved into a locker. Thanks to Lila changing into someone else he woke up asking Plagg what happened he explained that Lila put him to sleep with an enchanted kiss. Realizing that she was reakumatized they transformed to Cat Noir, despite being put to sleep by Chameleon again Ladybug was saved. Upon being woken up again he saw that the heroine managed well on her own. When she wondered who the akumatized villain was Cat Noir told her it was an old acquaintance knowing it was Lila.

He was happy at the fact that Ladybug and Lila made amends unknown that her play at peace was a lie. When he saw Marinette's attempt to expose her Adrien talked her down saying that humiliating her won't set her straight.

In "Animaestro", Adrien attended the movie premiere with Kagami and met her mother Tomoe Tsrugi who found him a charming young man. During the event he came across Marinette who was glad she came and gladly accepted the macaron she gave him. Meanwhile he helped Kagami fix her shoe he but had trouble finding her a chair. Then sometime later Animaestro attacked the event and he quickly ran off to transform into Cat Noir. However, defeating the animation villain wasn't easy with him constantly changing, with Ladybug's Lucky Charm a head camera through the video he and Ladybug saw Animaestro freeze and figured out if no one was watching him he stops moving. By telling everyone around them to close their eyes, cutting off the live feed, then with their eyes closed and using Cataclysm on his mask they stopped Animaestro. Then, he went inside the theater and was happy to see Marinette, glad she could see the movie too but apologized that he couldn't taste it and enjoyed the movie afterwards.

In "Bakerix", seeing Ladybug sent flying through the air while fighting Bakerix on the news, Adrien and Plagg transformed into Cat Noir. While confronting Bakerix the heroes try to tell him that they can be modern and still respect the past but he doesn't listen trapping the duo. The hero opted to use Cataclysm to destroy the glass pyramid but was stopped by Ladybug and manage to escape through an escape shoot. They confront Bakerix again at the Startrain inauguration after, while Ladybug dealt with the villain, he evacuated everyone off the train; using a ketchup bottle to make a non traditional sandwich as a lure and using Cataclysm on the turbine cover. The heroes were able to obtain the flask and save Marinette's grandfather. Afterwards, he gave Rolland a lift home and was pushed by the elder baker to be a judge for their bake off. Cat Noir saw that they were both evenly matched but noticing that he was short on time he thanked them for the snack and hurried home.

In "Backwarder", Adrien was boarding a train with Kagami and their parents to attend a wedding in England; so he was approached by Marinette who nervously dropped off a letter for him. Then after reading it, he heard his father delay the train but using the stall upon hearing that Ladybug was battling Backwarder by using the other, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and met up with Ladybug. Understanding the situation he was delighted to be his partner's (and by extension Master Fu's) shield and was aware they needed a plan. After seeing Ladybug receive a pipe as her Lucky Charm, Cat Noir found her plan this time to be more confusing than ever despite it he followed her regardless, purposely getting struck by Backwarder's powers by using Cataclysm to destroy the brooch the duo was able to save Master Fu's friend Marianne.

With that Cat Noir bid the two ladies goodbye, returned to the train in time seeing that his father was fine with the train no longer delayed they left for England to attend the wedding. Adrien met with Marinette the next day and gave her a bag of constipation capsules (unaware he got the wrong letter) but tells Marinette that he thought about her all weekend before heading inside the school.

In "Gamer 2.0", Adrien like his friends were asked by Max if they could test his new game but couldn't due to having fencing practice until he noticed everyone disappearing. He knew something was wrong and transformed into Cat Noir. Meeting up with Ladybug, Cat Noir noticed Gamer's dome and wanted to make getting in contest and yet were invited to play a game with him but aware that it might be a trap the duo remained in contact. After entering the gaming dimension they were explained the rules, he saw with certainty that Ladybug passed the first round. Then, he was eager to play but couldn't decide which character to choose but was rushed by his partner to end the game but chose Mr. Pigeon and with some creativity he defeated Gamer in the next round. As time went on Cat Noir started to enjoy playing as it brought back many memories, but that hearing that Ladybug refused lose he took a back seat. But seeing her get crushed so easily he took over the next round beating Stormy Weather as Anansi, hearing Ladybug doubt herself he took over the next few rounds.

In doing so Cat Noir taught her that when playing that it's not about knowing how to play but loving to play. After playing a series of rounds with akumatized villain avatars the heroes managed to beat them all but for them to defeat Gamer they had to face each other. Having no other choice but refusing to fight Ladybug, the kitty sacrificed himself by elimination and when Gamer was defeated the hero along with everyone was revived with the Miraculous Ladybug superpower. Afterwards, Cat Noir was asked by the heroine between everything he has in life how does he have fun and simply answers that he has the most fun when being with her and would drop everything to do that before leaving.

In "Weredad", during the night Cat Noir and Ladybug were dealing with August who was akumatized into Gigantitan again heading for Marinette's parent's bakery. Upon seeing him reject Ladybug's plastic doughnut the cat complimented that the young villain had taste. After August was returned to normal, he asked what was August's rampage about being told it was only a late night craving. When he heard Ladybug call August cute, Cat Noir said he was jealous but was given the baby as she had to go. Seeing August reach in Ladybug's direction he realized the kid wanted his pacifier and followed Ladybug but found Marinette instead. Aware that this wasn't the only time they met, Cat Noir was jumped on by Marinette saying she was in love with him being surprised. Even more so when they were caught by her parents and accepted Tom's invitation for brunch, leaving he talked with August about what Marinette said wishing Ladybug could admit her feelings like that. However, returned home, he wasn't completely sure if his friend's feelings were true aware that Cat Noir wasn't her type and was still in love with Ladybug.

The next day, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir deciding that he was only going to the Dupain-Chengs to explain his true feelings for Ladybug then leave. However once he did so, he became extremely disappointed that he broke Marinette's heart and left thanking them for brunch. But before he could get too far, Cat Noir was horrified that it led Tom's akumatization into Weredad and put Marinette in serious danger. Returning to the Dupain-Cheng's bakery, he apologized to Sabine for the trouble but she was aware it wasn't his fault, regardless Cat Noir assured her he bring her family back. The hero begins his climb up the bean stalk to look for Marinette and Tom but in doing so the cat became stunned that he was beyond the clouds noticing the plant's end he tried looking for them only to greeted by an angry Weredad. During the scuffle he tried to apologize for happened and tried to convince Marinette's akumatized father to let her go but refused saying it would only be done by a boy that he deemed worthy of his daughter's love. Despite, the severe beating Cat Noir received he weakly tried to fight back but before he was thrown off and had his ring taken he was saved by Ladybug who was working her way on inside by using Cataclysm on his partner's lucky charm a sailboat, they made a makeshift hanglider setting everyone on the ground.

Like her parents, Cat Noir ran up to Marinette's room relieved to find her safe and sound, hearing Marinette accept his feelings for Ladybug but wanting to remain friends. He was happy she wasn't heartbroken, even though she wasn't his number one fan which Marinette was surprised leaving Cat Noir to explain that's what he originally thought when she jumped him. Upon hearing Tom, compliment him about his bravery and determination matching that of a baker's he was invited to join the trade in the hopes of gaining Ladybug's love despite Marinette being annoyed Cat Noir and her parents just laugh.

In "Silencer", Adrien was practicing the piano until being alerted by Plagg noticing an akumatized villain and Ladybug they transformed into Cat Noir. Before leaving the feline found messages from the heroine believing she missed him. Finding her, he asked for the situation but was realized that Silencer took her voice, and rushed off to find him but was halted by Ladybug explaining that due to her being mute she was stuck let alone she couldn't call on her powers. Looking on the bright side, he admired that she wouldn't be able to pick on his jokes but getting a head bonk by his partner he retorts saying it was a joke having the pleasure of talking to his heart's content.

Communicating with Ladybug through texting they come up with a plan. Back at the tv studio seeing Bob admitting the truth on live tv he wanted to wait until Silencer was done with him and yet, was reminded what the titular villain was doing was about revenge not justice. They decided to crash the show and by pretending to be separated he bought his partner the time to make a fake Lucky Charm and by doing so they tricked Silencer into activating the real one using a vacuum cleaner and Cataclysm to destroy Silencer's helmet. With everyone's voices restored Cat Noir and Ladybug saved Luka and got Bob to admit the truth about stealing everything from the Kitty Section band still admiring Ladybug when she calls him "My Kitty".

In "Oni-Chan", once school was over Adrien went home with Lila in tow coming to "help him" with his homework but was disappointed that she lied and used trickery to get in while that he mentioned Kagami to her. Aware that their time was up Adrien allowed Lila to take a photo with him after she left, he was warned by Plagg about Lila's snooping and was asked why he was being nice to her he brushed it off as her being lonely, soon sometime later Adrien was approached a once again akumatized Kagami. Believing that the two were meant to be he hears the titular villain say that she'll punish Lila but he tried to diswayed her as Lila was only looking for attention.

Afterwards, Plagg knew that with so many admirers hovering around Adrien they'd end fighting over him nonetheless the two transform into Cat Noir. Figuring out that the horn on Lila's head acted as a beacon and having the villain switch places with a tied up Ladybug the heroes defeated Onichan saving Kagami and Lila.

In "Miraculer", after dealing with Destroyer things went from bad to worse when Sabrina was akumatized into Miracler. When the villain stole Cat Noir's powers and then being put on the receiving end of them weakened he crawled to alleyway and detransformed deciding to rest a bit before they retransformed. Upon meeting Ladybug again he was given the Bee Miraculous concerned he asked if she was sure which the heroine confirmed. But when Ladybug saw his condition, Cat Noir explained what happened and was assured by his partner he'd be healed. Despite being weakened and with the whole team on deck they were able to stop Miraculer, healed by the Miraculous Ladybug (superpower), keep the Bee Miraculous safe and have Chloé come to an understanding. Then Plagg went with Adrien to school the next day.

In "Oblivio", when Alya and Nino were akumatized into Oblivio during their field trip, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir. However, their first fight with Oblivio resulted in him using Cataclysm and being struck by the villain. In the elevator he woke up and found a strange lady (his partner) inside with him asking who she was but couldn't remember. Eying his appearance he figured that they were at a costume party and yet something from inside told him that they were suppose to know each other. Upon hearing their Miraculous go off Adrien also figured they shopped at the same jewelry store and detransformed, seeing the strange creatures (their kwamis) he expressed no fear and introduced himself believing that were genies.

Realizing their condition Adrien remained calm but upon hearing the elevator collapsing above them he and Marinette tried to get out until they were freed by their anmensic kwamis. The duo tried to escaped the building but found all the exits blocked and that a strange villain was after them, hiding in the bathroom they try to recap everything that happened. When the strange creatures were hungry Adrien opened his shirt he was surprised to find Camembert, and his bus pass with his name, both he and Marinette reintroduced themselves. Realizing that they had their phones they tried to call for help but realized they were locked. Hearing Oblivio coming for them they hid in the stall and escaped through the air vent, admiring her creativity he called Marinette "a girl who always comes up with the right plan". Once the group escaped to another part of the building they resumed their phone problem. But upon calling his father Adrien only received his voicemail and hearing Marinette talking wih her mother he edged her to tell her mother about their situation.

But when she didn't he asked why being informed that they were the superheroes and were powerless leaving him more confused. Aware of his identity as a hero Adrien figured that they must known about each other's identities eying the many pictures of Marinette as Ladybug in his phone. Showing Marinette he believed that they were a couple accepting he couldn't hide his identity from the one he loved but was unsure what the flying creatures were, seeing one of them fly off he believed he was going to get help. Despite Oblivio was closing in on them again by having another diversion they manage to escape them and believed even without their powers they made a great team. From Marinette's phone Adrien learned what happened before he was struck by Oblivio and called her clever when she left a message for herself, containing Master Fu they figured out how to restore their powers.

Upon seeing Marinette transform into Ladybug, Adrien was amazed and aware that she had already proven herself a hero both with and without the costume. Seeing her confused on how to use her Lucky Charm he advised that it was apart of a puzzle and had no doubt she'd figure it out, seeing her leave he wanted to go with her believing they were stronger together. Understanding her reasoning for him to stay out of harms, Adrien received a kiss knowing he didn't need his memory to why he loved her. However, seeing Ladybug having trouble defeating Oblivio Adrien dons a cardbox version of his suit and tries to rescue her but were both backed into a corner. Until Plagg arrived, happy Adrien quickly transformed and relearned how to use his powers again, with him as the distraction the anmesic duo defeated Oblivio.

Upon seeing their enemy detransform into two people Cat Noir was surprised and curious on what to do about the remains of Oblivio's power. Being informed that Ladybug had a second power allowing her to revert everything back to normal. Shocked he asked if they were going to remember any this and she sadly answers they won't. Realizing they'll forget being love Cat Noir asks Ladybug if he could kiss her which she allows and embrace before their memories were restored. However once everything was returned to normal they ask Nino and Alya if they seen Oblivio and answer that it was them. Cat Noir retorts that the two of them would make a good couple, but was reminded by Ladybug that she was in love with someone else, seeing Alya's picture of them kissing, he laughs and turns her head to it surprised. With that he told her they were meant to be together and that she was only one didn't see it, but was scolded by Ladybug saying this conversation was not over.

Returning home Adrien lamented about how Ladybug fell for him and yet had forgotten about it but remained hopeful that if it happened once it could happen again.

In "Party Crasher", Plagg was reading a magazine while eating Camembert after Adrien's conversation with Wayhem. He suggest that Adrien take advantage of his father's absence by having a party but soon it was crashed by Party Crasher then he and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir. Despite the heroes putting up a fight he, Adrien and the team were captured by Party Crasher until they were freed by King Monkey. By making their movements unpredictable the team was able to stop Party Crasher.

In "Christmaster", Cat Noir found Santa Claus in a sleigh crash and took him to shelter in Philippe's ice rink as Christmaster's toys were after him. Soon he was informed by Ladybug about the damage but said he already knew and when she arrived he reminded her of all the strange situations they've be through. But soon they were found by Christmaster's army of toys. Along with Philippe he asked Santa Claus if he could make Christmas early this year but he refused stern about holiday rules. When he continued to ask about making an exception Santa only said he does for the one at the top of his nice list, with that Cat Noir, Ladybug and Philippe tried to fight off the toys but he and Ladybug couldn't due to the ice. While Philippe kept the toys busy, the duo and Santa made their escape. By using Santa's hat, he lured the toys away but ended up being caught by them and brought to Christmaster and almost had his ring taken until Ladybug intervened.

Soon the pair was up against toy versions of themselves he suggested using his Cataclysm to destroy them but was prevented by Ladybug. Then, they went up against the young villain's ultimate toy but after working out a deal with Christmaster. He used Cataclysm to destroy the snowglobe and when everything was returned to normal Cat Noir took Chris home.

In "The Puppeteer 2", Adrien was playing the piano until Nathalie arrived reminding him about his trip to the wax museum. Before leaving he asked her if he could invite some friends over which Nathalie agrees and on the way there he heard Manon mention of all pictures Marinette has of him in her room but passed it off as his friend's love of fashion. When there Adrien and the others were directed to the wax figuring making room while talking to Nino he easily figured out that he and Alya wanted some alone time. But he got a mixed message from him believing that Marinette hated him.

Inside the workshop, Adrien placed his hand in the wax making machine and tried to talk to Marinette asking if she,was angry with him but was told no and deny everything Nino said. Then, asked if he wasn't a good friend then what was he to her but received a jumble message. When he saw her leave the room they were in, by playing with the wax figure heads Plagg admitted that girls were complicated. But was told to put the figure head back before he breaks it after another part of Adrien's wax figurine was done the two leave the room. Finding Marinette, Plagg saw it strange that Adrien was freezing like a statue but was told it was going to work but it backfired. Soon things got worse when Manon was reakumatized into Puppeteer controlling the wax figurines in the museum then Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir. By switching the young villain's wand with a forgery the duo was able to save Manon.

In "Stormy Weather 2", when Adrien doubts that his life or his father will never change Plagg believes otherwise reminding him of all the things that happened throughout the past months. Like how he went to school and made a bunch of new friends since then and yet Plagg couldn't figure out why someone enjoy going to school so much. And yet, when Adrien still had doubts about his father changing Plagg admits that's what he liked about people because you'll always know what's coming and reminded Adrien of all the times his father had changed. Even describing him as a type of cheese with a thick rind but with a soft inside or a slightly rotten inside. But their peaceful moment was ruined when they saw an erupting volcano outside Adrien's window. Plagg denied using his Cataclysm believing him the two transformed into Cat Noir.

Despite Stormy Weather's enhanced powers Cat Noir and Ladybug defeated her. Returning home hearing Adrien continue talking on about the heroine, Plagg suggest that he take interest in another girl reminding him of that Ladybug was interested in another guy. Hearing a knock at the door Plagg quickly hid and then upon seeing the similar writing from the note from Adrien's homework, that's when Adrien remembered the unsigned Valentine's letter. That's when they both thought it came from Marinette but Adrien easily brushed it off.

In "Timetagger", noticing a flock of pigeons over the Lourve Museum, Cat Noir wasn't surprised that Mr. Ramier was akumatized again for the 24th time. Regardless he and Ladybug made quick work of him and was treated to ice cream by Mr. Ramier since they got the job done quickly they agreed. But soon afterwards they had to deal with another villain from the future named Timetagger however they were short on time. Recharging in lavatory at the Louvre, Adrien was informed of the good news that he and Ladybug still knew each other in the future but retorts for it to happen they had to defeat Timetagger now and retransformed.

As he and Ladybug left to engage the villain they bumped into Alix who had a message for them through her family watch. Using Cataclysm to destroy an obelisk in the Eygptian exhibit the group discovered an unnamed Miraculous holder inside. Through their conversation the group learns that the future Miraculous holder's name was Bunnyx. Also that she was a member of their team in the future after hearing of her purpose, the hero was confused as they saved her from stone, that's when Bunnyx clarified that one of his Cataclysms would damage her Miraculous causing her to be trapped in stone. Upon Bunnyx's detransformation they discover that she was Alix's future self and witnessing the Rabbit Miraculous' power. He asked why wasn't it used more often but was told messing around with the past can have dangerous consequences and hearing his ring; Cat Noir left to recharge.

Once done he rejoins the group halting them to see the damage Timetagger has done, upon hearing that Ladybug was going to be a great leader, Cat Noir asks Bunnyx about their love life but was put into words they didn't understand despite that he believed the future wasn't set in stone. When outside, the team had seen the damage and despite that they were ready to face Timetagger but was told by Bunnix to stay put. During the confrontation both he and Ladybug witnessed Bunnix's mastery over her powers and couldn't wait to grow up later on got antsy refusing to let their new ally fight alone he activated his Cataclysm but almost struck Bunnix. Believing that Timetagger was beaten the cat and the others bid their friend goodbye, however the fight wasn't over. As it dragged on he realized Bunnix needed help and yet was suprised that Ladybug was giving up and Cat Noir told her she always come up with a plan and afterwards Bunnix left. Still believing his partner's surrender Cat Noir followed Ladybug was given a wink about the real plan.

With Timetagger where he needed to be and with the help of their future selves the group defeated him. Afterwards, Cat Noir corrected the deakumatized villain about when was he and Bunnix returned for Future Chris and bid her goodbye. Then, the cat commented about how come anyone doesn't talk about awesome he was and Ladybug retorted knowing he was already the best. With the damage repaired, they say goodbye to Alix and yet, sometime later he and Ladybug fought and defeated Mr. Pigeon again. This time even though they didn't find a solution to stop Mr. Ramier's akumatization they knew they would next time. Cat Noir suggest that Mr. Ramier get attach to another animal, they take their leave, while walking he was confused about everything Bunnix had told them while Ladybug just laughed.

In "Ikari Gozen", when the building that hosted the friendship day game alarm warned them about an akumatized villain Adrien and Plagg transformed. Meeting with Ladybug; Cat Noir had discovered that the villain was Kagami's mother and held her daughter prisoner. After Ladybug retrieved the Dragon Miraculous and with Cat Noir's help they sent it by "special delivery" to Kagami and with her help as Ryoku the trio was able to save Kagami's mother.

In "Reflekdoll", he and Ladybug were finishing off an akumatized villain and talked about their respective roles with the cat calling himself very charming, cunning and apart of humor department. While joking that Master Fu gave Ladybug her Miraculous because she doesn't have a sense of humor and leapt off before he detransformed. At school, Adrien was walking with Nino in the school courtyard until they were approached by Alya asking he could help Marinette with her modeling website at first he was hesitant but realizing that he had a free hour he agreed. While changing at Marinette's house he advised by Plagg not to take off his ring for the photoshoot but he said it'd be for awhile and Plagg would watch over it for safe keeping.

Shortly after everyone leaves for the shoot, Adrien and the others realize that Juleka has been reakumatized into Reflekta but this time she was armed with a sentimonster called Reflekdoll. In the midst, of the creature's rampage Adrien tried to hurry back to the limo to retrieve his ring and came across Marinette advising her to hide. But they get turned into a Reflekta copy, despite that Adrien returns to the limo looking for Plagg but finds Tikki instead and saw that Ladybug had his ring putting on the earrings he transformed Mister Bug.

Rejoining her he affectionately calls her Lady Noir but like her during their first mission Mister Bug had trouble controlling his yo-yo figuring out that he had to capture one akuma and amok. Avoiding Reflekdoll's blast, he attempted to use his Lucky Charm but was halted by Lady Noir aware that he didn't know enough about his opponent and yet remembered where the akuma was hiding. Upon hearing him ask for a mirror, she reminded him that her powers doesn't give the user what they want but was shocked when he received a mirror but called it beginner's luck. But seeing his attempt not work out so well she also reminded him that he had to figure how to use it warning that Mister Bug had five minutes before transforming back calling him Bugaboy. Hearing him retort back, she called herself funny, cunning and ultra charming using her Cataclysm on the sentimonster but seeing it act up Lady Noir asked if that was normal but heard that Mister Bug wasn't sure since he never did it.

Seeing the sentimonster go berserk, they continued on and pulled Reflekta out of Reflekdoll, but when she mocked them for their looks. He retorted freeing the akuma admitting they looked great in their new costumes and was reminded by Lady Noir about purifying the akuma which he excitedly does. Leading to Juleka's deakumatization but seeing her instantly revert back, he was reminded to stop Reflekdoll from destroyed everything else. In trying to stop the sentimonster they both admitted using each other's powers wasn't easy, seeing that he was stuck on what to Mister Bug asks Lady Noir on how to use his lucky charm, seeing a hatch on the creature she realizes that they can use the mirror to open it releasing the amok.

Once Reflekta was defeated and Reflekdoll destroyed, he and Lady Noir had a better understanding of the roles they played. Going their separate ways. Adrien detransformed and returned the earrings to Tikki thrilled by the experience and was happily reunited with Plagg vowing to never take his ring off again. After rejoining his friends, hearing Marinette apologized to Juleka giving her role back and finishing the shoot.

In "Desperada", after Luka was safe Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and went to meet Ladybug. Upon hearing the heroine's request for Adrien to wield the Snake Miraculous they detransformed and aware of the situation, Plagg thought this was a bad idea since Adrien couldn't be two heroes at the same time. But noticing that he wasn't listening Plagg was somewhat dissappointed that Adrien agreed. As Aspik, Plagg began to mock Ahim how about his teamwork with Ladybug seeing that Adrien was using his chances to charm the heroine instead of stopping the villain. When Plagg heard him, give up the Snake Miraculous he was happy that his owner came to his senses but when Adrien was feeling down about Ladybug not having fond memories of him. Plagg encouraged him to make up for it as Cat Noir and they retransformed with the help of their ally Viperion the trio was able to stop Desperada and save everyone.

In "Ladybug", after hearing that Marinette got expelled from school thanks to Lila. But soon they had to help Ladybug in fighting Mayura (unaware it's a trap) and yet assured Plagg that after they help Ladybug they'll help Marinette too so they transformed into Cat Noir. The hero continued to fall for the villainess' trap until the "real Ladybug" appeared revealing the deception and that the imposter Ladybug was a sentimonster, during a brief fight they managed to a hold of the creature. But instead of destroying the sentimonster she was given her freedom and Cat Noir like the idea of working with two Ladybugs and yet it was short lived when Mayura destroyed her.

Cat Noir was consumed with angered and went to attack Mayura but was stopped by Hawk Moth and after another fight led to a stalemate. When Hawk Moth tried to take Cat Noir's ring the cat used his Cataclysm to protect it but was thrown off the building by the mastermind but was saved by Ladybug knowing that they could get their enemies Miraculouses another day.

In "Startrain", after a late night fight; Adrien and Plagg returned home. Once dropped off at school, he went in the other direction leaving for the train station aware of their field trip to see Big Ben in London hoping that after a late night Hawk Moth wouldn't strike again. He met Nino at the station surprising him while informing him that he didn't tell his father about this trip and left to board the train. During the ride he sat next to Nino and upon hearing Marinette yawn he smiled in amusement, soon Adrien was asked by Alya if they could switch seats and he agrees. Sitting beside Marinette, he saw her sleeping on his shoulder and joins her in napping however, their peaceful trip was ruined when an akuma stowed away on the train and akumatized Max's mother into the titular villain.

So they transformed into Cat Noir and reunited with Ladybug. With having to capture the akuma and teleport everyone back to earth at the same time the duo called upon their newest allies Pegasus using his powers of teleportation and Markov. The group battled their way through the train and made their way back to earth.

In "Feast", when Plagg saw that Adrien was looking sad while playing the piano he asked him what's wrong and Adrien said that Nathalie's condition reminded him of his mother. Knowing of a way to cheer him up Plagg offered to perform a duet which left Adrien surprised that he knew how to play, after playing he was thanked for by Adrien it being told that his mother made him laugh the same way. During the night Plagg was sleeping beside Adrien with a piece of camembert until he became shocked that Wayzz was trying to removed the ring returning to his Miraculous and placed back in the Miracle Box. But thanks to Adrien showing her bravery in the face of danger Plagg was reunited with his owner and they transformed into Cat Noir. When the heroes dove into the belly of the beast they were able to destroy the sentimonster by using Cataclysm to destroy the staff and restore the Order of the Guardians.

In "Kwamibuster", Adrien was having a lecture in Ms. Bustier's class until he and everyone heard a commotion downstairs until his teacher redirected their attention. However upon seeing his Science teacher show a picture of Plagg and Tikki on a tv show the next day Adrien saw Marinette leave for the bathroom and followed suite giving a scalding to Plagg on how irresponsible he was. Soon he was perplexed at the name Sugarcube being told that was nickname of Ladybug's kwami Tikki and also figured out that Ladybug could be one of the girls from his school believing she could be Marinette.

But was told to act that nothing was wrong but upon being asked if Marinette was Ladybug, Plagg denied it being reminded if Adrien's identity gets out he can't be Cat Noir anymore. Seeing that their little adventure caused Ms. Mendeleiev's akumatization the two transforming into Cat Noir. During the scuffle, the Cat was told by an irritated Ladybug to have better control of his kwami so something like this doesn't happen again. But after being struck by Kwamibuster, Plagg was separated from Adrien.

After using Cataclysm to set the other kwamis free, Kwamibuster was defeated, Plagg returned to Adrien and told him to convince Ladybug that he goes to a different school and retransformed taking Ms. Mendeleiev back to the school.

In "Cat Blanc", after Ladybug was spotted leaving Adrien's room but left a gift on his bed. Plagg quickly guessed that Marinette asked the heroine to deliver it for her but when Adrien figured out that the heroine and Marinette were both one and the same. He quickly tried to dissuade him knowing of the consequences if either of their identities were revealed but was assured by Adrien that everything would be fine and yet still wasn't convinced. After his wielder and Marinette became a couple everything seemed perfect until Gabriel threatened to break them up, upon seeing an akuma heading straight for Marinette the two quickly transform into Cat Noir and used Cataclysm to destroy it. Despite everything going well it unraveled when the duo discovered Hawk Moth's identity and purpose as well as to make matters worse, they were akumatized into Cat Blanc and by forcing to choose the akumatized hero destroyed everything and everyone.

Ever since then Plagg and Adrien remained in their akumatized form until Ladybug from the past came to help deakumatize them. When she returned to the past to fix her mistake the future of them being akumatized was erased. Eyeing the gift, Plagg liked the idea of cheese being a lot better than a beret.

In "Félix", upon hearing Gabriel's angry response towards the thought of Emilie being replaced Plagg described him as Tome cheese. But Adrien calmed him down being reminded that it was the anniversary of Emilie going missing. However, things were stirring when Adrien's cousin Félix came to visit, and seeing how sneaky he was; Plagg told his wielder what Félix was doing. Despite that, Plagg was told not to be so hard on him due to the fact that Félix lost his father, still angry he snappily compared the two of them but upon seeing his wielder's sad expression the kwami apologized. Things were even more complicated when Félix's deception caused some of Adrien's friends to be akumatized into the Punisher Trio. Thinking it's what Félix's deserved Plagg questioned why do they have to save him was answered it was the right thing to do and they transform into Cat Noir. Thanks to a can of whipped cream setting off an chain reaction between the villainous trio the heroes were able to save Félix. Back at home, Plagg was given an apology by Adrien that if he was more observant of his cousin then all the trouble wouldn't have happened. Then was given new cheese and Plagg forgave Félix saying he could come back anytime.

In "Heart Hunter", while in his room, Adrien was admiring a picture of Kagami and Marinette. Upon seeing that Heart Hunter was on the loose the two transformed into Cat Noir, even with Ryuko's help they found it strange that the villain was deakumatized afterwards they detransformed and met up with Kagami.

In "Miracle Queen", upon seeing a swarm of hornets coming after them, to escape Plagg activated his Aqua powers and they retransformed into Aqua Noir. Reuniting with Ladybug, the duo discovered that Chloé was akumatized again into Miracle Queen but to make matters worse, all their allies and Master Fu were captured and Hawk Moth was in possession of the Miracle Box. Through the powers of fusion as Snake Noir and Dragon Bug, they were able to save their allies, stop Hawk Moth, Mayura and reclaim the Miracle Box.

New York Special

In Miraculous New York, he first appears with Ladybug on the Eiffel Tower, stopping Mr. Pigeon after they eat their source of power ups, they become Cosmo Bug and Astro Cat and bring back the Tower.

In "Psycomedian", after the comedian Harry Clown was akumatized into the titular villain Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir but this time they and Ladybug had to fight him with their eyes closed. Then, things got worse when Ladybug was struck into becoming very angry aware that they both already used their powers the heroes retreat and detransform in the sewers and Plagg was fed his cheese but both saw that Ladybug's condition didn't change even worse it spread to Tikki. When Adrien suggested that a retransformation it might Plagg wasn't sure and they resumed their alteregos and this time with a helmet along with Cat Noir taking the lead the duo saved Harry.

In "Furious Fu",

In "Sole Crusher", Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir to deal with an unknown emergency. Then, later he was Adrien's room eating a wheel of Camembert cheese until Kaalki arrived through her portal accidentally having his cheese get sucked through leaving him devastated. Hearing Kaalki's message, he and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and by using Cataclysm to slow the titular villain down they saved Zoé.

In "Queen Banana", Plagg with Adrien to the cinema to the debut of his class movie project but when Chloé's rage and jealously akumatized her into the titular villain he and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir to stop her. During the scuffle the hero accidently used Cataclysm on Banana Boom Boom causing the sentimonster to go berserk, then Cat Noir was saved by the team's new ally Vesperia. Finding a place to detransform and recharge, Plagg called Vesperia more refined and sweeter than Queen Bee and transformed by paralyzing the sentimonster and with an act put on by Vesperia the trio deakumatized Chloé.

In "Gabriel Agreste",

In "Mega Leech", when Mayor Bourgeious was akumatized into Malediktator again but being aided by the titular sentimonster Plagg and Adrien into Cat Noir and with the help of the whole team including their newest member Polymouse the group was able to deakumatize the mayor. By the end of the episode, arriving home, Adrien is confronted by his father for taking a stand against Project Oxygen. Adrien tried to defend himself but is ordered to go to his room by his father, which he sadly obeyed and accepted his punishment.

In "Sentibubbler", Plagg was tending to his cheese until he and Adrien heard about the Cesaire family, Marinette and Nino being captured by the Sentibubbler sentimonster on the news afterwards they transformed into Cat Noir and rushed to the scene. The hero was called upon and had Ladybug's plan explained by Rena Rouge, then some time later explained further by Marinette and managed to put up a fight until they end up captured. But with some behind the scenes work with Rena and Pegabug, Cat Noir and everyone were saved.

In "Hack-San", after misunderstanding with Scarabella was cleared up Plagg was having a hard time getting his cheese from his angry owner and after finally eating it Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and working with the new temporary Ladybug they saved Markov.

In "Dearest Family", during Three Kings Day when Marinette's whole family was reakumatized Cat Noir arrived just in time to save Ladybug who was in a hunger craze. Aware that something wasn't right with his partner, he didn't mind covering for her until the hero was surrounded by villains and used Cataclysm to cover his escape into the sewers and they detransform knowing the fight wasn't done he needed Plagg to recharge quickly. While in the sewers, Adrien and Plagg noticed a giant galette in the sky from his kwami he learned that every once in while Tikki goes crazy with sweets even activating her power satisfy hunger and was told of a similar incident that happened centuries ago. Regardless Adrien was encouraged by Plagg to retransform in doing so into Astro Cat, he destroyed the giant treat and returned to earth.

Once reunited with Ladybug, he asked if Tikki was okay which she retorted yes but noticed the group of villains them, Cat Noir wondered how Shadow Moth reakumatized Marinette's family despite the heroine giving them magical charms. Despite battling their way through the group, he and Ladybug discovered that none of them had the akumatized object on them and from the crown lucky charm they discovered the real akumatizated was back at their home, so Cat Noir did his best to hold the villains off. Upon finding the galette charm the duo discovered that Shadow Moth found a way to give his akumas more power turning them into Megakumas regardless they deakumatized and saved Marinette's family. In the holiday spirit since Cat Noir found the galette charm he playfully asked Ladybug to be his queen which she agrees too.

In "Ephemeral",

In "Kuro Neko", upon seeing the other heroes being called into action more and more Adrien was too depressed to do anything until Plagg convinced him to transform. But after having a fallout with Ladybug, feeling left out and having enough of it he returns Plagg and his Miraculous to her. After returning home, Adrien throws out everything that reminds him of everything involving his hero status and continued to sulk in his room that is until Plagg returned and tried to convince him to take the mantle of Cat Noir again but Adrien refused if things wouldn't change. Then, he was informed and taught by his kwami how to change his appearance with the Miraculous so he could become the perfect partner for Ladybug. They continued working into the night until they were ready and Adrien returned to Ladybug as the gallant and refined Cat Walker.

They start off with a questionnaire but soon were called into action when the Kuro Neko sentimonster appeared. Noticing the creature, at first, Cat Walker heard Ladybug believed that it was his akumatized alterego but he effectively dissuaded her claims when the giant cat ate grass but spat it back out. After Ladybug was convinced he completely understood her thinking but hearing her lamentate how poorly she treated his alterego and called herself the worst guardian ever, made Cat Walker think about his own behavior how desperate he was for Ladybug's attention and how he believed she prized the others over him but remembered Ladybug's role as leader and that he was here to take care of her. Despite the duo's best efforts every plan went wrong even causing hero's Cataclysm to strike creature causing it to rampage after they detransform Plagg asks how everything was going but hearing of Adrien's disappointed answer, he told him they were just getting started and retransformed. After hearing Ladybug needing to defeat the sentimonster alone and with Cat Walker accepting exclusion the job gets done returning home, Plagg was overjoyed that everything worked out but hearing Adrien voice concern about getting his original persona back Plagg wasn't too worried upon hearing Adrien wonder if Cat Noir was his true self. Until Plagg told him that there was more than one side to every person including him and that he was happy to have both of them back and share a hug.

In "Penalteam", when Chloé was akumatized again but this time into Penalty backed up with a team of clones, Plagg voiced his distate for soccer regardless he and Adrien transform into Cat Noir. Due to Penalty calling them for a soccer game the heroes responded with their own team even summoning four players into the brawl Caprikid, Rooster Bold, Minotaurix and Miss Hound. At first due to Ladybug's poor leadership the team wasn't doing so well and soon when the heroine realized this they changed tatics and by turning Penalty's desire for cheating against her the Miraculous Team won.

In "Evolution", Plagg's past self was briefly seen when Ladybug, Rabbit Noir, and Monarch time hopped to Heroes Day's but the heroes quickly pushed the villain through the next burrow before they could see anything.

In "Jubilation", Plagg was frustatingly fiddling around with Adrien's alliance ring in Adrien's room asking it to deliever his cheese until being reminded by Adrien that the ring couldn't see or hear him. Then, upon hearing from the news that the Dark Owl had returned Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir while fighting off their greatest desires the duo were able to save Socquline and deakumatize the Darker Owl.

In "Passion", upon seeing the love between his owner and guardian getting serous a flustered and worried Plagg spills his concerns to Tikki that if their owners get any closer it will end in diaster but the kwami of creation calmed his nerves being told of his guardian's failed love attempts. Later, seeing that Timetagger had returned Plagg and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir, joined Ladybug but only that Timetagger was just an illusion and that Safari was real villainess but soon Ladybug becomes paraylzed by a venom bolt then it comes after the hero too despite the cat destroying the first one with his power more were on the way leading to a frantic chase in the paris streets eventually ending in the sewers. Surrounded Cat Noir accepted his defeat, or so the hero thought detransforming Plagg told Adrien that the bolts were gone and had eyes only for Cat Noir but still were in a dilemma with a paralyzed Ladybug however having an idea and putting the heroine on the opposite of the sewer Plagg received the okay sign to removed his guardian's Miraculous.

Then, after hearing Adrien explain the situation the duo figured out they could fight as Mister Bug and Lady Noir. But before they swapped jewels Plagg heard Adrien's desire to use their combined power to make a wish to free their world of it's problems but only hear Ladybug recite Master Fu words becoming relieved his owner only agreed to the swap and temporarily went to Marinette and they transformed into Lady Noir. Together they managed to save Nathalie and soon reunited with Adrien afterwards.

In "Reunion", Plagg went with Adrien to the Louvre Museum upon hearing news about Alix however just when they were leaving they were called into action as Cat Noir when Jalil was akumatized into the Pharoah again. Fighting a battle of wits through the museum and convincing the titular villain to use his own powers to seek the truth the heroes managed to deakumatize him. Once they're home, Plagg gives Adrien his own kwagatama.

In "Derision", Adrien and Marinette have a date at the pool, but is confused by Marinette's hesisitaion. Not until Kim told Adrien and Ondine the story of what happened: per Chloé's request, Kim played a cruel prank on Marinette. Adrien became furious by what happened; during Kim's akumatizion as Dark Cupid again, almost Catalysmed him. After Kim's apology, Adrien went over to Chloé's place and demanded she apologized to Marinette. When Chloé refuses, Adrien cuts off his friendship with her once and for all.

In "Protection", Adrien tries to have a picnic date with Marinette at the mansion but is forbidden from having any kind of relationship with her by his father, due to Gabriel wanting his son to be with Kagami again. Adrien suddenly has permission to be with her by Nathalie. Their date is interrupted by an akumatized Kagami.

In "Adoration", Adrien is walking home when Marinette declares her love for him. The two are about to start their first kiss until Gabriel suddenly interrupts orders him not to.

In "Emotion",

In "Pretension", Adrien and Marinette tries to talk to his father about their relationship but is asked to go up to his room. He admires Marinette for the way she stood up against his father. Adrien is furious with his father's decision to send him to London but doesn't have the heart to tell Marinette.

In "Revelation", Adrien tries to defend Marinette about Lila but is turned down by his friends. He apologizes to Marinette about not exposing Lila sooner and hopes to see Lila's downfall.

In "Confrontation",

In "Collusion", Adrien makes it clear to his father he doesn't like being sent to London. He, along with the class, defend Marinette against Chloé's accusations. By the episode's end, Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Monarch are declared outlaws by Chloé, who took Paris by force.

In "Revolution", After Chloé's defeat, Adrien finally tells Marinette about London and the two share their first kiss before being forcibly separated on his father's orders.

In "Representation", Adrien decides to disobey his father and runs away from London to be with Marinette in the hopes of telling her his secret identity. He fights his father who akumatized himself as the Nightormentor. Despite being affected by his magic dust and making him experience his worst nightmare, he managed to defeat him. He's prepared to tell Marinette his identity until the nightmare appears again due to Ladybug not preforming the Miraculous Ladybug. He decides against it and returns to London, where he's locked up in a cell.

In "Conformation", Due to him knowing he wasn't in the right state of mind to wield the power of Destruction safely, the fears of his nightmares, and having no chance at escape again, Adrien sends Plagg back to Paris with the ring to help Ladybug.

In "Re-creation", Gabriel sacrifices himself, making Adrien an orphan. He and Marinette have their kiss and goes back to being Cat Noir.
