This page records the history of Nino Lahiffe. This article includes past tense and broadly looks over the events this character has experienced.

Nino Lahiffe is a teenage boy and friends with Adrien Agreste. He loves playing music and is a fan of Ladybug and Cat Noir. He is also Alya Césaire’s love interest. On occasion he helps Ladybug and Cat Noir as the Turtle Miraculous superhero Carapace.

Before Season 1

Nino went to Collège Françoise Dupont for at least one year previously. He, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and Chloé Bourgeois were in the same class.

Season 1

In "Ladybug & Cat Noir", Nino was forced to move to the front row of the classroom by Miss Bustier. He ignored Chloé when she sat behind him and fought with Marinette. He went to Parc des Princes for PE with Mr. D'Argencourt. He was not seen again after Stoneheart attacked Lê Chiến Kim.

In "Stoneheart", Nino didn't greet Adrien when he first entered the classroom because he thought he was rude like Chloé. After he saw Adrien try to get the gum off Marinette's seat, Nino introduced himself and decided Adrien needed better friends. When Stoneheart reappeared, he was the first person to run. He along with his classmates in the library cheered for the heroes success. The next day, he greeted Adrien and encouraged him to talk to Marinette.

In "The Bubbler", Nino was upset that Adrien wasn't allowed to have a birthday party. He decided that he should visit Mr. Agreste and try to change his mind. Nino managed to change Gabriel's mind, but not in the way he wanted; instead of succeeding in getting Adrien permission to throw a birthday party, he succeeded in being banned from being Adrien's friend. Upset, Nino went to the park to try to calm down, but he only became angrier when he saw parents not letting their kids have fun. Hawk Moth sensed Nino's frustration and anger and akumatized him into the supervillain, Bubbler. The first thing Bubbler did was bubble all the adults and send them into space. The second thing he did was throwing Adrien a birthday party. When Ladybug and Cat Noir interrupted the party, he bubbled them, but they came back. The second time, he bubbled the other kids at the party and then chased after the heroes. Ladybug and Cat Noir caught Bubbler, captured his akuma, and returned the city to normal. The next day, he and Adrien walked into school together, their friendship solidified.

In "Mr. Pigeon", Nino sat by Adrien in class and supported him when the derby hat competition was announced and during the competition itself.

In "Timebreaker", Nino cheered on Alix and Kim. He helped Marinette hold the banner she made, but because he was cheering so enthusiastically, he ended up making her drop Alix's watch. Timebreaker made him disappear in one timeline, but he escaped to safety with the other students in the new timeline.

In "Copycat", Nino discussed Adrien's missing phone with Adrien. Deciding Adrien needed a break, he invited Adrien to the movies. Alya invited herself and Marinette along with them.

In "Lady Wifi", Alya dragged Nino out of the school to tell him her theory about Ladybug's identity. They bonded over their best friends being missing and then Alya told Nino she thought Ladybug was Chloé. Nino did not believe her. Alya roped him into helping her prove that Chloé was Ladybug. Nino had to distract Chloé while Alya took a picture of Chloé's locker. He was successful in distracting her, but Alya was caught anyways. When Marinette arrived, he told her about Alya's theory and that Alya was suspended for a week. He ran home, worried after Lady Wifi attacked the school.

In "The Evillustrator", Nino was paired up with Adrien and Alya for their particle physics presentation.

In "Rogercop", Nino attended Career Day then, when he saw Adrien returned to his seat he asked if his father was coming Adrien said no and he comforted him. He was recording all presentations until Chloé's bracelet went missing Marinette suggested looking at Nino's video to see what happened. The mayor wanted to the have the tape analyzed by professionals but Nino refused to turn over the camera.

In "Dark Cupid", Nino was in class learning how about true love happens in stories and when class was finished he heads home. But sometime later he receives an embarrassing picture of Kim from Chloé through his phone.

In "Horrificator", Nino was the director of a monster movie he and his classmates were making for a film contest. During the process, he altered the movie by adding a kiss scene which caused Alya to become irritated. Until they all heard a scream to discover that Max and Kim were gone. Nino decided to keep filming as he thought this would be great for the movie and when everyone tried to call for help through their phones Nino warned them that cellphones wouldn't work in scenarios like this to which he was right. But became equally excited with Alya when Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived and remained a safe distance with the rest of his friends but noticed that Adrien was missing. Following everyone to the maintenance room they found their captured friends and after Ladybug's asking Nino and everyone played Mylene's favorite song to calmed Horrificator down and filmed Mylene returning to normal. Afterward, Nino submitted to the video to the mayor and told his friends that the monster wasn't realistic enough and was comforted by Adrien believing that's how all directors start out.

In "Darkblade", when Nino heard that Marinette was running for class representative he and his friends gave her some ideas as he wanted everyone to listen to their favorite music in the library. Then, sometime later he went down to City Hall to get Jagged Stone's autograph but soon Darkblade and his knights attacked hearing Cat Noir fight them outside he hoped that they haven't gone too medieval on him. After Darkblade was defeated he along with everyone else was shocked to that Chloé had Sabrina steal Marinette's diary and wouldn't share the blame. After hearing Marinette's speech for class representative he cheered for his friend's victory.

In "Princess Fragrance", Nino was in science class and watched Rose get sent out of the classroom for playing with her perfume. Then, waited outside of the school for Adrien who finally arrived. He witnessed Adrien catch Marinette after she tripped over the stairs but was relieved that she was okay before heading home.

In "Animan", Nino was eyeing Marinette and Alya nearby until Adrien snuck up behind him where he informed Adrien of his crush on Marinette. But when Nino tried to ask Marinette to the zoo he froze like a statue and Adrien had to vouch for him and when the girls agreed the two boys walked away. However, Nino was nervous about the date but Adrien said he had nothing to worry about and yet he didn't want to be left alone and asked Adrien to coach him. However, during the conversation with Marinette, his responses got jumbled up and that he had a crush on Alya surprising his friends and Marinette offered to set up a date between them.

Noticing Animan's animal army stampeding Nino ran away but was pulled to safety by Ladybug and placed in the same cage with Alya and said hello to her. Afterward, he went to the Marinette's parents bakery with Alya to tell Marinette that he now had a crush on Alya due to the two having so much in common. When he heard of Marinette's crush on "certain guy" he offered to put a word in for her but was halted by Alya.

In "Simon Says", Nino made an appearance as a contestant on the show "The Challenge" where he got the mayor to dance and received the chance to make a reappearance on the show next week. When Simon Says had an army people under control he quickly hid and was found by Ladybug. The two arrived where Cat Noir had recently subdued Adrien's bodyguard (who was forced to act like a gorilla by Simon Says). Cat Noir accidentally readied to attack Ladybug after thinking she was Simon Says, Nino confirmed them of the situation.

Noticing that Adrien wasn't here Nino wanted to find to him. But when Cat Noir tried to dissuade them not to look for him because he could be hypnotized, Nino disagreed and continued looking after Cat Noir left. After the two find Adrien, Nino joyfully greets him. After Ladybug and Adrien finish greeting each other, the trio ran to the Agreste mansion. When they arrived, Nino and Adrien are sent to Adrien's room once inside, Nino comments on friend's room's immense size.

Nino was listening to music on his phone through his headphones when the lockdown defense system was initiated. When Ladybug and Nathalie are in the room to take Adrien and Nino out, he was asked by Ladybug where Adrien is. Nino told her that he was in the shower, Nathalie then takes him downstairs. After they meet with Gabriel, he asks where his son is and Nino replies that he's with Ladybug. The next week, Nino returned to "The Challenge" and invited Ladybug and Cat Noir to dance to his music for the challenge.

In "Pixelator", Nino and his classmates were having job experience day at the Le Grand Paris hotel where he was assigned as one of the cooks in the kitchen. Since Chloé and Adrien were nowhere to be found Nino covered from them, studying his Math book while waiting. He soon became startled when the two friends appeared out of nowhere and ask Adrien where has he been but Adrien tells Nino he'll explain later and gets asked to cover from him. But Nino retorts by saying he's been covering for him, by the end of the day Nino and his classmates get rewarded with Jagged Stone concert tickets for their hard work. He had a great time at the concert.

In "Gamer", Nino was in the library cheering for Adrien who secured a spot as Max's partner in the upcoming video game tournament. At the tournament, Nino urged Marinette and Max to hurry up. He did it once again when Adrien gave Marinette his controller to play in the tournament. He cheered with the rest of his friends when Marinette and Max were going into the playing area.

In "Reflekta", Nino was getting ready for class picture day but when Chloé's selfishness leads Juleka to be akumatized into Reflekta. He is one of the handful of students that got turned into one of her look like copies, after finding somewhere to hide Nino notices Cat Noir but his sudden outburst causes the hero's presences to be revealed. With some convincing from Cat Noir, Nino and the students banned together to stop Reflekta but she escaped. After Reflekta is defeated, everyone regains their normal appearances and afterward, Nino joined everyone in the park for another class photo.

In "Antibug", Nino was in the classroom when Vanisher began pulling pranks on Chloé. When Vanisher followed Chloé out the door, she pushed Adrien's tablet into his. Then, he saw Adrien and Marinette leave soon after to transform.

In "Volpina", Nino was amazed by the exploits of the new student named Lila and was excited when Lila said she would get him in touch with famous film directors unknown to him it was a lie.

Season 2

In "Santa Claws", Nino was called by Nathalie, who was looking for Adrien. When she asked if Adrien was at his house, he denied it and joined the search to look for him. When Nino heard that Adrien was home safe, he and his classmates went over to Adrien's house and (after Adrien's request to his father) had dinner at the Agreste Mansion.

In "The Collector", he heard that Adrien was banned from school for stealing his father's book which left him disappointed. But upon the next day, unknown to him because of Marinette's actions Adrien was allowed to return to school and Nino embraced him with a hug.

In "Despair Bear", he was enjoying a cooking class being taught by Marinette's father Tom until the fire alarm gets pulled resulted in all the students cleaning the courtyard as punishment because of Chloé. Afterwards, Nino went to Chloé's with Adrien as usual Nino played as the DJ and joined Alya for the slow dance.

In "Befana", the day before the episode Nino was listening to Marinette's song for her birthday party but was surprised when he saw her listening too. Nino and his classmates were helping set up the party decorations once done he wished Marinette a happy birthday.

In "Robostus", during Science class Nino like his classmates marveled at the sight of Max's robot Markov.

In "The Dark Owl", at the end of the school day Nino was excited to play online gaming with Adrien saying he won't stand a chance. But when Adrien said that he had Chinese lessons Nino became disappointed since they haven't played all week. After the next day he was informed that Adrien he still had Chinese lessons but had some free time tomorrow leaving him excited.

In "Glaciator", Nino was with his friends while waiting for Marinette who all were heading to Andre's ice cream stand for ice cream to share with Alya as a couple. But received a text from Adrien that said he couldn't make it, which disappointed Marinette. Seeing her upset Nino and everyone went after Marinette trying to comfort her.

In "Captain Hardrock", Nino helped his friends prepare for the music festival on Anarka Couffaine's houseboat the Liberty. Shortly, after he received text from Adrien saying he couldn't come and informed Alya then, during a sound check Nino was in awe of the sonic boom from Luka's guitar which alerted the entire police force. Things went from bad to worse when Anarka was akumatized into Captain Hardrock but when he and everyone else refused to play their music by force. Nino was chained with Alya and the others below deck but thanks to Cat Noir and Ladybug they defeated the captain; Nino and everyone was set free. Just the before the performance Nino was happy that Adrien came to the concert.

In "Troublemaker", Nino was seen in the school's courtyard talking to Alya and thought they heard something but saw no one there and resumed their conversation.

In "Frightningale", under Ladybug's suggestion Nino took part in Clara Nightningale's new video. He watched the finished results with his friends in the school's library proud of the outcome.

In "Zombizou", Nino like his classmates each prepared a gift for Ms. Bustier's birthday and was amazed at Marinette's gift. But when Nino saw that his friend's gift was ruined like the others he knew it was Chloé. Things went from bad to worse when Ms. Bustier got akumatized into Zombizou thanks to Ladybug's arrival everyone escaped and hid and the Locker Room until the heroine found them. But he was worried about Adrien to see him became one of Zombizou's minions (albeit pretending) as the Locker Room was no longer safe they moved to the roof. When they heard that Zombizou was after Chloé he and the other students don't hesitate to give into the villain's demands but was prevented by Ladybug.

As Zombizou's minions closed in Nino and the rest of the students made it to a nearby bus heading towards the Eiffel Tower staying close to Alya. But upon making it there Alya was infected too, Nino was offered by Ladybug to come with them. Refusing to leave her side Nino tipped his hat to them goodbye as he told her this isn't the first time they've been in trouble together. He happily embraced an infected Alya but was returned to normal by with Miraculous Ladybug. Then, Nino went to class the next day.

In "Syren", Nino was at the movie theaters with his friends until it became flooded with water. He and his friends safely made it to the roof.

In "Anansi", he was over at Alya's house with Marinette playing a dancing game with Alya. Then, he was surprised by Alya's sister Nora who came back from winning her fighting match when asked why they were still here Alya said they were heading to the World Cup fireworks. Nora was against her younger sister going but Nino vouched he would protect her and refused to leave without her Nora challenged him to an arm wrestle and he agreed. With Marinette's help, Nino won the challenge and the trio went off to see the fireworks. Nino was looking down on himself but soon became frightened when the ferris wheel stopped and clinged onto Alya who thought he was going to protect her. Afterwards the friends saw that the ride was stopped by an akumatized villain Alya wanted to start filming despite Nino trying to dissuade her, to their surprise it was Nora.

With Alya held prisoner Nino was goaded by Anansi to come after her to which he does and tries to fight her off but gets sent flying until being caught by Ladybug. Still determined to save his friend Nino followed the heroes, soon he came across Ladybug asking she was okay and heard they need help, he offered to help them surprising the heroine. But denied it lamenting how he couldn't save Alya thinking he wasn't strong enough and yet was told by Ladybug that courage and determination is what saves the day not just strength. He was given Cat Noir's staff and instructed by the heroine to hold off Anansi until she returned. Meanwhile, Nino continued his fight against Anansi while being instructed by Cat Noir, despite the villain taunting him he refused to stay down telling Anansi she shouldn't have underestimated him until he was sent flying and caught by Ladybug again.

He was asked by the heroine again for help determined Nino accepts and was given the Turtle Miraculous by Ladybug meeting Wayzz and became Carapace. After Ladybug summoned another Lucky Charm receiving box gloves and he questioned if she was going to fight Anansi head on and she said yes. Following Ladybug's lead he distracted Anansi long enough for her to challenge the villain to a one on one duel. When the Arc de Triomphe pillars were weakened enough Carapace was hauled up to Alya and used his Shell-ter power to protect them. Safely on the ground he smiled at Alya who was in awe and the trio was able to stop Anansi, but he was interviewed by Alya after giving his name he left with Ladybug. Detransforming Nino returned the Turtle Miraculous to Ladybug and thanked her for trusting him.

Rejoining Alya and Nora, he asked if she wasn't too scared and Alya replied no commenting that she saw what he did for her. Knowing what she meant Nino nervously tried to cover the events of the day by saying he wasn't a hero and when Marinette explained what happened during the arm wrestle. However Nora wasn't angry at what happened, Nino was embraced by her earning Nora's recognition and the group went off to the ice rink.

In "Style Queen", Nino was playing the DJ music for Gabriel's Fashion Week show and became horrified when Style Queen turned Adrien into a golden statue.

In "Queen Wasp", Nino resumed playing the music for the Fashion Week show near the end he along with everyone else saw Gabriel make a live appearance and embraced Adrien after what happened during the events of Style Queen.

In "Malediktator", Nino like everyone else laughed at Chloe's documentary about her being interviewed by Ladybug. After Chloe left for New York, Nino and everyone took pleasure in it and as usual he was the DJ for the music for the party. Then under Malediktator's declaration bubble he destroyed the school with the rest of his classmates. Until he and the others were returned to normal thanks the Miraculous Ladybug (superpower). Then, he played the music for Chloe at her party honoring Queen Bee.

In "Frozer", Nino was with Alya in the school's courtyard.

In "Catalyst", Nino was getting ready for Heroes' Day with rest of Paris until Hawk Moth commences his biggest plan yet. While in the school yard he watched a video (an illusion set up by Volpina) of Ladybug being akumatized and destroying Cat Noir. Then, when a swarm of red akumas attacked the school, he fled with Alya, but managing to comfort each other they resisted akumatization.

In the Locker Room he agreed to go on a date with Alya after this was over and were about to kiss until they were interrupted by Ladybug. In the seriousness of the emergency Nino figured out Alya is Rena Rouge and was surprised but shocked he wasn't told. After seeing her as Rena Nino found Alya to be awesome and yet voiced concern about being Carapace. Afterwards he meets Wayzz again doing a secret handshake with him before transforming into his alter ego. Meeting up with Cat Noir and Queen Bee he was shocked to see Scarlet Moth in person with his army knowing they would have a big fight on their hands Carapace argued with Rena on who would cover who.

In "Mayura", after hearing Scarlet Moth's demands, Nino agreed with Cat Noir having confidence they would win and fought against the akumatized villains. Despite putting up a fight he saw Rena Rouge take a hit by Dark Cupid's arrow for him. Not wanting to fight her Carapace told her to resist the akuma as he restrained her but it was to no avail as she was akumatized in Rena Rage. Heartbroken at what happened to Alya he was akumatized into Shell Shock and turned against his allies. Until thanks to the people of Paris and the heroes destroying Hawk Moth's cane, Nino and Wayzz were returned to normal and used his shield to prevent Hawk Moth from stealing the heroes jewels. Just as they were about to corner him while trying to defend Rena he and the others were blown away a guardian created by The Peacock Miraclous wielder. Quickly realizing that their archenemy had help after Hawk Moth's defeat he returned the Turtle Miraculous to Ladybug.

Then, Nino with everyone else attended a picnic put together for Marinette to thank her for all good she had done. He was surprised when Marinette planted a thank you kiss on Adrien and cheered for her.

Season 3

In "Chameleon", during another day at school, Nino got to seat next to Alya. Like everyone else he eagerly welcomed Lila back still believing her stories. While with Alya they were approached by Adrien (who was Chameleon in disguise) who said that he didn't deserve her, the real Adrien's friendship and had his cap stolen dishearten. Afterwards he was comforted Alya by saying he looked better without it but was happy that his hat was returned by the Miraculous Ladybug (superpower). However when Alya saw Marinette sitting alone and asked Miss Bustier if she could have her original seat because she couldn't stop chatting with him he easily understood. And soon he was joined by Adrien then all the other students followed their lead in having their normal seats back and when school was over Nino went home with Alya.

In "Bakerix", Nino was getting ice cream with Alya at Andre's until they were approached by Bakerix. He saw him take away Alya's phone.

In "Gamer 2.0", he along with several others were held captive in their akumatized forms by Gamer 2.0. But thanks to Ladybug and Cat Noir he was set free due to the Miraculous Ladybug (superpower).

In "Oni-Chan", while walking to school Nino, came across Lila who was looking sad and asked her what's wrong. Accepted her lie of it being exhausted with her busy schedule.

In "Miraculer", Nino called on to become Carapace once again to help Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat Destroyer and once done he returned the Turtle Miraculous to Ladybug completely aware that their identities must remain a secret. Sometime later he was practicing her synchronization with Alya until the two were called upon again to become their alter egos. During the battle against the titular villain and Mayura, he used his Shell-ter power to defend Ladybug from Miraculer. Knowing where the akuma was Carapace worked with Rena to destroy it. With the whole team they were able to deakumatize Sabrina and prevented Mayura from escaping with the Bee Miraculous and then returned the Turtle Miraculous to Ladybug.

In "Oblivio", during his class field trap to the Tour Montparnasse Nino snuck off with Alya to play to Super Pengiuno in a closest but they were embarrassed about being caught by their friends. Leading them to be akumatized together into Oblivio during their first encounter with Ladybug and Cat Noir they had them pinned down and struck them with their powers but lost sight of them. In their search for the duo, Oblivio couldn't find them anywhere in the building taking Hawk Moth's advice to retrace their steps but still couldn't find the heroes (who had detransformed at the time). Having enough of looking they then tried to flush them out by threatening to erase everyone's memory in Paris. Soon they were met by Ladybug again despite the heroine having her powers back Oblivio was aware she still didn't have her memory or reflexes. Then, had Ladybug under their mercy until Cat Noir entered the fray and had them pinned down like their first encounter.

However, this time by having their hand stuck in a teapot thanks to Ladybug and Cat Noir destroying their blaster, Nino and Alya were deakumatized. Shortly after coming too he and Alya were surprised to see Ladybug and Cat Noir kiss. After the heroes had their memories restored, Nino explained to them that they were Oblivio. Then, returning to the bus Nino and Alya apologized for their actions and was reminded by Ms. Bustier to keep their game playing at home.

In "Party Crasher", Nino worked with his friends to have an all boys party for Adrien after giving their cover excuses to the girls who were planting trees at the Seine, they all left for the Agreste Mansion. After striking a deal with Adrien's bodyguard, Nino and his friends made their way to Adrien's room and commenced their plan until they found out that Marinette crashed the party in disguise. But soon things went from bad to worse when Party Crasher came causing everyone to flee, taking cover and witnessing what happened Nino found a miracle box beside him and became Carapace again to aid Cat Noir along with Pegasus and Viperion. However just as he was about invoke his Shellter power to protect the others he but came the villain's next victim.

Thanks to Viperion's Second Chance, he was saved by Viperion but he and all the other heroes were captured as well until they were freed by a new ally King Monkey. This time before Party Crasher struck again Carapace used his Shellter power to protect the group. By dancing to music the team made their movements unpredictable in doing so they defeated the villain. Afterwards he returned the Turtle Miraculous and returned to the mansion to clean up the aftermath of their party and then he apologized to Marinette for the lies he told and yet she apologizes too. However they both admit that they were trying to do something nice for Adrien after they finished Nino and everyone joined the girls at the Seine.

In "Christmaster", Nino went on a date to the movies with Alya while Marinette watched over his little brother Chris. When he and Alya returned to pick him up, Nino saw that Chris was upset and carried him home. The next day, he discovered that Chris and his toys were gone and left to look for him. Then, was approached by Ladybug and Santa who confirmed for the heroine that Chris was akumatized into Chrismaster. When she summoned her Lucky Charm, Nino was surprised that Ladybug received stationary supplies. Eyeing Santa's bag and asking who was nicest kid in the world, he and Ladybug was surprised to see that Santa Claus' list was exceptional long. And yet, he wasn't surprised that Ladybug was at the top of the list vouching that she had saved Paris multiple times. Then, Nino was assured by Ladybug that she would get back his brother safe and sound, then asked Santa where was he on the list, as he watched Santa scroll through the list he knew it would take while.

Afterwards, he and Alya dropped off Chris at Marinette's house again and thanked her for watching him while they went out.

In "The Puppeteer 2", Nino was hanging out with Alya until he received a call from Adrien being invited to come with him to the Wax Museum bringing her with him and by extension Marinette and Manon. Somehow he figured out that Marinette has a crush on Adrien while at the museum Nino was informed by Alya to deny everything Adrien says in an effort to conceal Marinette's crush. However, in doing so he gave Adrien the false in impression that Marinette hates him soon afterwards he leaves with Manon and Alya to another room. In the midst of playing statues he saw that Alya was a little unnerved about seeing them in their akumatized form.

Until Nino clarified that she needed to look at them in a different perspective seeing them as people Ladybug and Cat Noir saved. After Manon was reakumatized into Puppeteer Nino was paused frozen by a Lady Wifi wax figurine until he was set free by the Miraculous cure and returned home with Alya.

In "Stormy Weather 2", he and Alya were leaving the school and Alya thought about doing their homework at her house but when Nino tried to turn her down when he wanted to give Adrien a copy of the notes he missed she shot him a stare. Until Marinette stepped in and offered to do it and but before she left the trio saw Chloe bullying Aurore about her not being able to keep up with her school work and her job as well as turning into Stormy Weather again. In her room with Nino, Alya was slightly angry that Chloe caused another akumatized villain reminiscing about the past the two were thankful to Ladybug for bringing them together and for their lives as heroes.

Soon they were interrupted by Ella and Etta who were scared but soon Nora was right behind them grabbing everyone in a bear hug saying she'd protect them knowing that Nino knew they weren't going anywhere. While they were all under a blanket trying to stay warm they continued to watch the heroes fight from the news on her tablet after hearing of Stormy Weather's defeat they all rejoiced.

In "Timetagger", during the evening Nino left for the movies with Alya while thanking Lila for watching over his brother Chris, Etta, and Ella.

In "Reflekdoll", Nino was seen walking with Adrien until they were approached by Alya asking Adrien if he could help with modeling in Marinette's website to which Nino thought was awesome.

In "Ladybug", Nino was in class finishing the mock exams but became shocked that Marinette was accused of cheating and stealing the test but his friends he was aware that she'd never cheat.

In "Startrain", Nino was getting ready for class trip to see Big Ben in London until he met up with Adrien to which he was surprised that his father let him out. But was informed by him that didn't tell his father about this trip to which he found very sneaky and they boarded the train. The trip was mostly peaceful until, Chloe called out about an akuma being on the train so he went to investigate with Alya but didn't find it believing Chloe called a false alarm. However, Nino and the others found out that she was right when it akumatized Max's mother into Startrain and blasted them all up into space. He followed Marinette's lead into stopping her but she caught onto them, then Nino became surprised that Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived and they all followed Miss Bustier to the back of the train.

After the trio defeated Startrain, Nino and his classmates got close up and personal view with Big Ben until they were all set on the ground by Ladybug. Once off Nino saw Adrien's bodyguard and Nathalie aware that this was Adrien's first and last field trip despite that he found the trip fun until they got separated at the end. And yet, Nino remained hopeful that he and Adrien will go on other field trips and boarded by train back to London.

In "Félix", aware that this was the anniversary of his best friend's mother going missing, Nino agreed that everyone sends a video package. However, after hearing Felix disguised as Adrien leave a nasty message. Nino along with Marinette knew that wasn't his best friend realizing that the video was a fake, despite seeing Alya akumatize into Lady Wifi again he tried reason with her, Rose and Juleka into not attacking Adrien but was paused frozen. After being set free by via Miraculous Ladybug (superpower), he along with his friends received a video from Adrien, who explained what happened and received a thanks for him.

In "Cat Blanc", in an alternate he was seen slow dancing with Alya on the Couffaine houseboat. However, due to certain "secrets" being unveiled leading to Cat Noir's akumatization she and everyone on the planet were destroyed but thanks to Ladybug changing the past so did the future.

In "Miracle Queen", Nino was enjoying dinner with Alya and her family and until, he was stung by Miracle Queen's hornets and told to come to the titular villain. But with his Miraculous in use Nino couldn't transform. Afterwards Miracle Queen's defeat, he was returned to normal and brought back home along with Alya as of Ladybug's powers. Then, sometime later, he enjoyed hanging at the Seine with his friends.

Season 4

In "Truth", Nino is seen leaving the school with Alya as Marinette goes with Luka on his bike.

In "Lies", Nino is leaving the school along with Alya. Later at the Couffaine Boat, Kitty Section has just finished up one of their songs. While Nino, Kagami, Marinette and Alya are cheering, Nino tells Adrien that he filmed their performance on camera but Adrien notices and states that Nino missed the intro. Ivan and Rose then say that they can replay the song but Kagami informs Adrien that they would need to leave in order to arrive on time for Prince Ali's birthday.

In "Sole Crusher", Nino is seen meeting up with Adrien and doing their handshake inside the school as Chloé mentions to Zoé about having a guy bestfriend.

In "Queen Banana", Nino is taking charge when it comes to filming the student's movie. At first, Nino is supervising over Nathaniel drawings along with Jean-Pierre. Later, Nino is directing the other students to where they should be in a scene and describes that the entire population is being put into an enchanted sleep then mentions that they will need extras to fill in some roles. Once everyone is put in place, Chloe then arrives on the set, furious that she heard that she was supposed to play a the supervillain while Myléne is the. Nino then attempts to explain that both roles are equally important but is interrupted by Chloé, who just wants to play the superhero. As Chloé calls for her dad, to force the changes she wants, André makes Nino rewrite the script.

Thomas then explains that its not uncommon for writes to adapt the script on the set at the last minute for production reasons and is called a revision. Nino then decides that if it's for the good of the film, that he probably should go along with it and begins filming scene 9 behind a camera. But notices that Chloé is not in her place when she's supposed to be acting. As Chloé starts to describe her idea of a superhero they should add to the movie without it being Queen Bee, Nino again begins to rewrite the script and re-film scene 9. Chloe, complaining once more, ends with Nino having to rewrite the script once more to add on her additions and film scene 9 again. Chloe then states that she doesn't feel the need to save the students taking part in the movie, Nino then claims that they are not going to change anything anymore.

After Adrien is put in place in the helicopter cage, Nino (who is annoyed) then asks if they can finally shoot the scene. Chloé says that they would need a new bad, super-duper-uber villain, which makes Nino bang his head against the camera and puts the pen in his mouth to try and think of how to add her idea into the script. With everyone brainstorming ideas and in frustration, Nino decides that it is just for the good of the film.

In "Sentibubbler", Nino was at Alya's apartment, helping her family to find Hannibal the Spider, Later on, Marinette and Alya go into Alya's bedroom and Nino wanted to go with them but Alya tells him that it's only between her and Marinette. Meanwhile, during Marinette and Alya's conversation Nino gets captured by the Bubbler Sentimonster, Sentibubbler.
