Empathy is the power to sense and interpret the emotions of others.
Description[]
This power allows the user to detect the emotions of others (from afar), as well as hear the thoughts associated with those emotions.
Some Miraculouses use the power of empathy as a facet of their actual unique superpower.
Kamikotization/Akumatization[]
Monarch using the Butterfly Miraculous to hear people's emotions.
Upon sensing a strong emotion from a person, the Butterfly Miraculous holder takes an ordinary butterfly and charges it with dark purple magical energy, turning it into an Kamiko/Akuma, which is then sent out to possess an object belonging to that person. Once the kamiko/akuma possesses this object, a telepathic connection is formed between the recipient and the Butterfly Miraculous holder and once an accord is reached, the recipient is transformed into a superhero/supervillain with their own special powers, as well as becoming a loyal follower of the Butterfly Miraculous holder. The stronger the recipients emotions at the time of Kamikotization/Akumatization, the stronger their powers will be.
As seen in "Migration", the holder can also use the power to read the emotions of their victim even after the kamiko/akuma has infected the object.

Mayura communicates with her target.
The Peacock Miraculous holder takes a feather from the Hand Fan and clasps it in their hand to charge it with blue magical energy. The magically charged feather is known as an Amok, which is then sent out to possess an object belonging to its target.
Upon making contact with the object, the Amok disappears into it and a telepathic connection is established between the recipient and the Peacock Miraculous owner. After the target accepts the Miraculous owners offer, the power is activated and the Peacock Miraculous owner manifests a Sentimonster from the target's emotions via a magical dark-blue ether.
