Cat Noir finds out that Ladybug has written a love letter for her crush. He tries to get a hold of it to discover the mysterious stranger's identity, but soon learns the hard way that curiosity and cats don't mix.
On the rooftops of Paris, Ladybug starts to write a love letter to Adrien, daydreaming and swooning about him. Unbeknownst to her, Cat Noir is watching from afar, and gets the idea to take the love letter in order to find out who she is writing to. During his first attempt Cat Noir tries to grab the letter by sneaking below her, but Ladybug walks away with it, leading to his hand being pecked by a pigeon and falling. He finds Ladybug at a rooftop flower garden and hides in an empty flower pot to avoid her detection, as soon as she's gone Cat Noir tries to follow her but becomes stuck inside the pot and rolls away. Then he tries fishing for it but hooks a stray cat instead and gets scratched. Having enough, Cat Noir ties a rope to himself to swoop and grab it, but Ladybug easily dodges him. After bumping into obstacles while swinging, Cat Noir falls into the Seine with a splash. The letter gets soaked, so Ladybug scrunches it into a ball and throws it away. Cat Noir enthusiastically grabs the letter, only to discover that it's illegible.
