Description

Located in the south of the city and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Copacabana is a 5.2 km² neighborhood with a population of 160,000. It is a very dense and affluent neighborhood, with most buildings ten stories high and numerous hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs.

This neighborhood attracts many tourists, especially for its long promenade and its famous beach, one of the tourist icons of Rio de Janeiro.
