“ | "What's your so-called proof, Sabrina? A microphone, a video? It doesn't matter. I'll come up with a new lie and people will believe me. I had everyone believing that Marinette pushed me down the stairs. I had everyone believing that I was halfway around the world so I wouldn't have to go to school. And if I wanted to, I could even convince your own father to put you in jail! And that's what's going to happen if you don't hand over that proof!" "Hah, there was no proof! Well, until now!" "You've just told everyone who you really are, Lila." |

Ladybug and Cat Noir face Reflekta again.
Plot
The episode opens in Adrien's room, where Adrien laments his concerns to Plagg about telling Marinette that he is moving to London. Adrien worries that if he'll fill up his papers about him being in London, it'll break Marinette's heart.
At Collège Françoise Dupont, Marinette and Adrien worry and wonder what's going to happen next as Lila and Chloé are the new class representatives. Subsequently, their respective Kwamis, Plagg and Tikki attempt to comfort them, though Plagg comforts Adrien with little success, Tikki was able to cheer up Marinette by saying that she's the best. In Mrs. Bustier's class, Mrs. Bustier thanks Marinette, who gives the students' files to Chloé and Lila, for being entrusting towards the students' futures. In Chloé's room, Chloé and Lila force the clearly distressed Sabrina to reforge the students' files to ruin Marinette and everyone's lives, much to her dismay as she finally decided that enough is enough.
Meanwhile, Denis Damocles finds the Resistance in the boiler room, and upon learning that they are fighting against evil, he loyally decides to let them continue on their operations, due to his apparent fondness for superheroes. Olga Mendeleiev finds out and laments that she's not the principal to make the strictest rules. In the library, where the conference room of teachers has been held, Lila shocks the teachers about the students' files (which were reforged). To make matters worse, Lila even shows Juleka will be repeating the year.
In the classroom, the students are mad about their false futures. Juleka sees that she will be repeating and gets upset, leading to her getting akumatized by Monarch and becoming Reflekta once again as Monarch breaks through her Magical Charm; he also gives her the power of the Tiger Miraculous, Clout, which she and her clones can use to their advantage. Marinette and Adrien transform into Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively, and defeat Reflekta, transforming her back into Juleka. However, Monarch still senses negative emotions within the school, and opts to wait for another akumatization attempt.
Back in class, Alya asks Lila what happened with the files and she and Chloé start accusing Marinette of tampering with the files by forging everyone's handwriting. Marinette points out that she doesn't even know how to copy people's handwriting, but Sabrina does. Sabrina comes clean and says that she forged the forms and reveals that Chloé and Lila forced her to do it. Playing off her outburst, Lila continues to lie to Sabrina, causing Sabrina run out of the classroom and into the new bathroom crying, while threatening to have her father put Chloé and Lila in jail. Chloé and Lila argue with Sabrina in the bathroom, with Lila also threatening to put her in jail by her own father, while also revealing her deceptive nature.
It is revealed that Sabrina and Marinette set up a fake mirror in the new bathroom, with everyone, including Ms. Bustier and Denis Damocles, hearing what Lila said, finally realizing that Marinette was right all along about Lila's true nature. Chloé gets her father André Bourgeois (who is being forced by Audrey) to make her and Lila stay in school and refuse to allow the career forms to be resubmitted. Denis gets frustrated and almost gets akumatized by Monarch again, but the students' reaction to the Magical Charm prevent him from being akumatized. When Juleka comes in and begs for Denis to let go of the Megakuma, he is amazed that Juleka no longer has her speech impediment and lets it go, allowing him to unlock a new ability of the charm that purifies the Megakuma. Monarch gets angry that he is defeated yet again. Denis makes his final decision to allow the students to redo their career forms.
However, because of this, Denis is fired from his job as principal by André. He packs all of his stuff up into a box and before he leaves, all of the students and teachers applaud him for doing the right thing. Later, Ms. Bustier tells Chloé that she really thought that she can change if people reached out to her, but says that she was wrong about her. She also admits that while she can't expel her, she will get very special attention from her as punishment. Chloé receives a call from Lila, who left the school in all the confusion. Lila tells her to be prepared and that the war had just started, while also being revealed to have another identity as Cerise Bianca, a movie star.

Trivia
- Internationally, this episode first premiered in Switzerland on RTS Un, alongside the next episode; "Collusion".
- This is the fourth season 5 episode that is not named after the concept of a Miraculous.
- The example of confrontation is applied when people confront others:
- Sabrina is finally able to stand up against Chloé and Lila for all the abuse she has suffered at their hands by aiding Marinette in exposing them in front of all their classmates and teachers.
- After Sabrina reveals to have proof against them regarding the fake study options forms, Chloé and Lila confront her about it, with the former doing it angrily and demanding to have the proof she has, while the latter just responds that, whatever proof Sabrina may have, she will always counter it with another lie to discredit it.
- Marinette and her friends confront Chloé and Lila over their behavior, as well as their confrontation of the fact that they have been lied to and manipulated for a long time.
- Juleka is finally able to overcome her speech impediment and gather the courage to finally speak louder.
- How her friends tried to help confront her akumatization.
- With the motivation of his students (especially Juleka), Miss Bustier and Cat Noir, Denis Damocles is able to drive away a Megakuma (and by doing so unlocking the Magical Charm's hidden power). Because of it, he is finally able to stand up against Mayor Bourgeois, even if that meant losing his job, for the sake of his students' dreams.
- In "Stoneheart", Ladybug and Cat Noir stood against Hawk Moth.
- How Cat Noir confronted Ladybug in anger about her keeping him out of the loop in "Strikeback".
- In "Derision", Socqueline was the only one who stood up to Chloé. As well as in the same episode in present time, Adrien and Ondine confronted Kim about his hurtful prank towards Marinette last year.
- In "Revolution", the heroes and everyone in Paris have their final confrontation with Chloé.
- In "Representation", where Adrien, as Cat Noir, confronted his akumatized father, Nightormentor.
- It's also applied in the opposite sense of the word, where people are unable to confront others:
- Denis Damocles is initially unable to confront Mayor Bourgeois about wanting to change the students' fake forms (that have already been passed into the system), being the reason for his almost being akumatized.
- Mayor Bourgeois is pressured by his wife Audrey into not allowing Denis Damocles to expel Chloé and Lila and to change the fake forms. Because he doesn't have the courage to stand up against her, he has no other choice but to force the principal into doing it. When he doesn't, Mayor Bourgeois has no other choice but to fire him.
- Adrien didn't have the courage to tell Marinette that he was moving to London by the school year's end.
- Before Marinette became Ladybug, she wasn't able to stand up to Chloé.
- In "Migration", Jagged couldn't stand up to his boss until he saw his son stand up to him.
- The example of confrontation is applied when people confront others:
- In this episode, new hidden Magical Charm abilities are introduced. It's revealed that the Magical Charms react to emotions and that it can protect their holders from Megakumas if they focus enough or/and are motivated by others. It's also seen that the presence of other Magical Charms can also boost the magic of the Magical Charm of the person that is about to be akumatized.
- In this case, it occurred with the Magical Charm Denis Damocles received in "Jubilation", as it evolved into a larger version of itself, basically becoming a shield, capable of purifying Megakumas.
- As this episode is the twenty-first produced episode of season 5, this is a direct parallel to the twenty-first episode of season 4, "Dearest Family", as Gabriel discovered a way to destroy the Magicial Charms via creating megakumas.
- This marks the seventh time Juleka gets akumatized into Reflekta, following "Reflekta", "Reflekdoll", "Félix", "Ladybug", "Gang of Secrets", and "Guiltrip".
- Coincidentally, this episode is the twenty-first episode of Season 5 where she gets akumatized, much like how "Reflekta", was the twenty-first produced episode of Season 1 where she was akumatized there.
- As of this episode, Juleka is the only character that has been regularly akumatized, amokized and akumatized, akumatized in a group of akumatized villains, akumatized in her scarlet version and akumatized with a superhero power.
- This is also the second time Reflekta's clones have her copy power instead of just Reflekta herself, following "Gulitrip". But unlike the first time, her clones were controlled by the titular sentimonster, and this time, it is Reflekta herself who has the ability to control them.
- Nino suggests that the Resistance members all apply to enroll at Lycée Jacques de Trémeuse, which like Collège Françoise Dupont, is the name of a French superhero known as Judex.
- Denis Damocles becomes fully aware of the students forming a resistance and having their headquarters at the boiling room, and covers for them from teachers who are very strict like Olga Mendeleiev.
- Juleka is the fourth character to get akumatized and receive the power of her own Miraculous through her Alliance, following Kagami in "Perfection", Kim in "Derision", and Sabrina in "Adoration".
- This is the sixth episode where a Magical Charm gets destroyed following "Dearest Family", "Penalteam", "Elation", "Protection" and "Pretension".
- Juleka is also the second member of the French Miraculous superhero team to receive a second Magical Charm, after Kagami in "Protection".
- She is also the third character to receive two Magical Charms with the same design, following Sabine in "Qilin" and "Dearest Family" and André in "Glaciator 2" and "Elation".
- This is the seventeenth episode that features a post-credit scene, following "Miracle Queen", "Gabriel Agreste", "Optigami", "Sentibubbler", "Dearest Family", "Multiplication", "Jubilation", "Illusion", "Transmission", "Perfection", "Derision", "Intuition", "Protection", "Emotion", "Pretension" and "Revelation".
- This is the ninth not to feature Gabriel Agreste, following "Multiplication", "Jubilation", "Derision", "Intuition", "Protection", "Emotion", "Pretension" and "Revelation".
- Clout's activation sequence used by Reflekta is similar to Purple Tigress' in "Crocoduel".
- Everyone in school finally learns that Lila was lying about everything, from saying she was halfway around the world so she wouldn't go to school, framing Marinette for pushing her down the stairs, and everything else ever since she came to school (and if she was above anything, she could convince Sabrina's father to throw her in jail). After learning Lila's deceptive nature, only Ms. Bustier apologizes to Marinette for not believing her.
- This episode reveals Ms. Bustier's class dream jobs:
- Alya wants to be a reporter.
- Nino wants to be a movie director.
- Mylène wants to be an environmental activist while Ivan would take care of his and Mylène's kids.
- Juleka wants to be a mortician, or someone who prepares funerals.
- Rose wants to be a hairstylist, even though she says at first that she wants to be one for unicorns and dragons.
- Sabrina wants to be a nurse.
- Chloé doesn't want to do anything because she's already rich.
- Lila claims she wants to become a politician and spread peace, but this is a lie.
- Besides Lila and Chloé, the only students whose dream jobs weren't revealed are Max, Nathaniel and Kim; although it is implied that Kim wants to be a swim instructor when he thinks Max got his form by mistake, as Max wants to be a physiotherapist, who helps people to restore injuries, disabilities, or movement, being said that Kim and Max's form papers are mixed, and Nathaniel probably wants to be a famous illustrator.
- It is revealed that Juleka repeated a year of school. This explains why she is not in the same school year and school as Luka, even though they are supposed to be twins (however, this was a retcon from earlier episodes where it's implied that Luka was older).
- This episode has one of the shortest akuma fights of any episode.
- This episode reveals that Lila has been wearing a wig since "Volpina", and even has two identities: one being Lila Rossi, and the other being Cerise Bianca, who is the class representative of her class in another school and a movie star.
- The fact that she has two different identities conjugates with the fact she has multiple mothers, meaning that, for each mother, she has one different identity. Since she has three different mothers, means that she has at least three different identities:
- Lila Rossi who is the daughter of an Italian ambassador who, up until this episode, studied at the Collège Françoise Dupont and used to be a model to the Gabriel brand.
- Cerise Bianca, who, to her classmates, is an actress that has been away from Paris in a movie shoot for most of the school year and is the class representative in a different school.
- Despite it not being confirmed who is the mother of this identity, it's hinted that one is the mother she talked to through the Alliance in "Revelation", as they talked through voice only possibly to hide the wig she is using and the fact she told her she was away from Paris, just like Cerise told to her classmates.
- There's a third possible identity, whose mother is deaf and whose house served as Lila's habitation for a time at least between "Perfection" and "Revelation", before telling her she would need to leave again.
- The fact that she has two different identities conjugates with the fact she has multiple mothers, meaning that, for each mother, she has one different identity. Since she has three different mothers, means that she has at least three different identities:
- When Juleka completely overcomes her "speech impediment", she did it in front of Denis Damocles, Miss Bustier, and the whole class, minus Chloé and Lila, much like she did back in "Crocoduel".
- This is the twenty-eighth time where Ladybug's Lucky Charm is an object that appeared in a previous episode. The Lucky Charm object in this episode is the same tape from "Crocoduel" (which was also used in "Prime Queen"), but it is used in a different way.
- This episode confirms that Sabrina has finally ended her "friendship" with Chloé for good, as she had betrayed her and Lila by exposing them in front of the whole class.
- This is parallel to what Adrien did in "Derision", where he calls off his friendship with Chloé. In a way, both of them were friends with Chloé, but knew of her awful behavior and yet they couldn't do anything to stand up to against her. Adrien gave Chloé multiple chances to become a better person, but after hearing what she did to Marinette last year, he stood against Chloé and ends his friendship with her, to whereas Sabrina is very loyal and would do anything for Chloé but after being forced to forge the students' study options and pin the blame on Marinette was the tipping point to have Sabrina secretly conspire with Marinette to expose Chloé and Lila's schemes.
- This could also be a callback to the episode where Adrien confronts Chloé after she remarks about treating those who are inferior to them, Sabrina was seen with an angry scowl, indicating her loyalty towards Chloé started to waver since she treats her as a doormat too.
- This is the ninth time where the heroes sit on a rooftop with a view of the Eiffel Tower, following "The Dark Owl", "Miraculous New York", "Lies", "Hack-San", "Kuro Neko", "Jubilation", "Deflagration" and "Perfection".
- Another weakness of Clout is revealed: in the unique circumstances that the power is duplicated, then it can be turned against itself, resulting in massive super-explosion when the punches collide, thus incapacitating the users.
- Clout's sound effect was reused from Wind Dragon's sound effect.
- This is the episode where Lila decides to dismantle Adrien's relationship with Marinette.
- There were a couple of scenes in the storyboard version that were cut when this episode finally aired.
- Marinette and Adrien had short conversations with their kwamis before transforming to fight Reflekta and her clones.
- After Miss. Bustier apologizes to Marinette, Alya hugs the latter and asks how she could be so gullible as an apology with every other classmate (minus Lila and Chloé) getting in for a group hug with the two. Adrien even says "You're really amazing, Marinette" and she blushes.
- In production and airing order, "Collusion" comes after this episode. However, in chronological order, "Action" takes place after this episode.
Errors
- When Monarch looks at his Cataclysmed hand after being defeated, his Alliance rings, which were supposed to be under the glove, are all absent.
- When Marinette and the others confront Chloé and Lila in the bathroom, the lighting for all the characters is off.
- When Marinette and Sabrina fist-bump, Mylène is in the default T-pose.
- When Monarch absorbs the power of Elation from Roaar's cage, he uses his right hand, but the Tiger Miraculous is on his left hand.
- When Ladybug is sticking the tape to the ground, she isn’t wearing her Magical Charm suit.
- Also, when she is about to release the purified butterfly from her yo-yo, her pigtails brielfy glitch out.
- In this episode, Juleka claims she wants to be a mortician, but in "Reflekdoll", it's shown that she wants to be a model.
- However, it is possible that she has given up on her dream of being model and has changed it to being a mortician.
- The hair tie on Lila's wig disappears and re-appears before she throws it in the trash.
- When Lila asks Miss Bustier to speak with Sabrina, the wall behind Miss Bustier disappears.
- When Reflekta hits Mylène and Ivan with her fan slabs, their silhouettes had fans, but when they transformed, their fans disappeared, even though they were able to throw their fan slabs at Rose immediately afterwards.
- Marinette's purse is missing its flower logo in the scene after Chloé and Lila get exposed.
- Although Lila had earrings in "Chameleon" and "Oni-Chan", she lacked them as Cerise at the end of the episode.
