Reason: Relationships

It's just to say that even when you set off storms, even when there's rain in your heart, beautiful things happen when the sun returns, like rainbows! Weather is my passion, and that's what makes my heart shine. Whatever happens, I'll keep raising my head to look up at the sky.

—Aurore Beauréal, "Climatiqueen"

Aurore Beauréal is a minor character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont and a former student of Olga Mendeleiev's class, before Mayor Bustier reformed the school. She is Aglaé's best friend. Starting from season 6, she is a well-known influencer on Zoo, known for her passion for climatology and meterology.

In "Stormy Weather", after losing the KIDZ+ contest against Mireille Caquet to become the weather forecaster, she was akumatized by Hawk Moth and became Stormy Weather, a weather-controlling supervillain.

In "Stormy Weather 2", after being bullied by Chloé over her low grades in school and previous akumatization, she was re-akumatized by Hawk Moth into Stormy Weather, gaining the power to control nature and weather abilities at the same time.

In "Climatiqueen", after she despairs, assuming she will lose in Chloé's contest on her Bee Community, she was akumatized by Chrysalis into Climatiqueen, an upgraded version of her previous akumatization as Stormy Weather, gaining not only the power to control the weather, but also to turn people struck by her lightning into her devoted followers. She also received a Magical Charm from Ladybug that prevents her from being akumatized again.

Appearance

Physical Appearance

Aurore is a fair-skinned, slender teenage girl of medium height, with light cornflower blue eyes and long, straight honey-blonde hair with bangs, and a tiny cowlick on the right. Her hair is tied in low-hanging twintails with light blue hair ties.

Civilian Attire

In the first saga, Aurore is seen wearing makeup; a pale amaranth nail polish that fades to light cerulean nail polish, light fuchsia lipstick, and a light brilliant cerise-colored blush. She wore a light blue mini dress that reaches slightly below her hips with short puffed sleeves with tiny white lace lining on the edge, a small yellow cloud pattern, a white Peter Pan collar, a white broad band around the waist, three layers of frilled edges at the hem, and small white lace lining at the dress openings and second frilled edge, and light yellow dress shoes with moderate amber soles.

From season 6 onwards, Aurore wears more natural makeup and nail polish. She now wears a light blue dress with the same Peter Pan collar style as her previous one, this time in baby blue. It has a sun pattern, six buttons, two of which are unbuttoned, and a small tie at the waist. Over the dress, she wears a clear, open rain jacket with a cloud pattern. She also wears white tights, a pair of yellow heels, and two earrings: the left one shaped like a 7-pointed yellow star with a smiley face, and the right one shaped like a silver cloud with a frowny face. Her hair has become a lighter blonde and slightly wavy.

As Stormy Weather

Stormy Weather had light brownish gray skin, grayish mulberry-colored lipstick, and brilliant violet eyes. Her hair was two tones with dark purple base and very pale blue bangs, while her large, pointed, low-angled pigtails were striped with dark purple and very pale blue streaks. On her face, she had jagged black face paint that surrounded her eyes and came down to her cheeks as lightning bolts.

She wore a tight, muted purple upward rounded midriff top that had small shoulder puffs with a narrow-ended-tube-shaped collar, and also featured five white lightning bolt patterns that had bright purple outlines. Her skirt was poofy, bell-shaped, and muted indigo. The sleeves became white gloves with two of the lightning bolts above her elbows. She wore muted purple tights with white low heeled knee high boots that were angled at the "opening" near the calf, and two of the lightning bolts came out of the boots around the outsides of her legs near the knees (the last of the pattern was a sole lightning bolt centered squarely near her abdomen). They all had a lilac trim. Her weapon was a closed dark purple parasol that faded to brighter purple at the tip and had a black handle with a double spearhead at the bottom.

As Climatiqueen

Climatiqueen had a similar appearance to when she was Stormy Weather. However, there were significant changes to it. Her top was now a bodice. The collar was high and sharp, with a glowing white inverted V-shaped opening at the chest resembling lightning that revealed part of her cleavage, with a brilliant purple glow to accent the lightning adorning her two-tiered puffy sleeves. At the hips, she had a puffy waistband resembling clouds to accent the thick skirt trim, which had crackling lightning around it. Her boots were taller and slanted at the side while her gloves were a little shorter but pointed. Her parasol was more spiraled and had a darker ombre when it was open.

Her bangs were swept to the left, with forelocks. She had the same jagged face paint from before, but with less spikes near the sides. Her hair was styled into high drilled pigtails resembling cyclones that faded to brilliant purple near the end. On her forehead were two white markings with a brilliant purple glow, and on top was a big, matching three-pointed outline resembling a crown on her head.

Personality

Stormy Weather 2 (14)

Normally, Aurore is charming and prideful, but also shy and soft. Because of her arrogance, she was angry with Mireille for winning instead of her, but kept it to herself, only lamenting about it once she was alone. Over the series she has also been shown to be able to forgive people as she happily worked with Mireille as co-host for the Friendship Day event. She can also show appreciation to others, such as thanking Marinette for standing up for her against Chloé. Evident in "Stormy Weather" and "Climatiqueen", she takes winning popularity contests seriously, blinding her from her original desires in the first place such as a signed book from Claudie Kanté.

Despite looking prideful and put on a brave face for others, Aurore is a very sensitive person, especially when it comes to disappointment. That can lead her to sometimes make the wrong choices in order to deal with it, like using Marinette and Adrien's private life to boost her presence online in order to win a contest she really wanted to win, when her original content failed to do it (even if the ones winning had posted the same type of content as her). However, she can come down and own her mistakes, apologizing and making amends.

Climatiqueen 432

Aurore is very passionate about meteorology, admiring very much all types of climatic phenomena. She even incorporates that passion into her own style, including always being accompanied by a parasol. That same admiration extends to those that work and/or document any form of climatic phenomenon, like Claudie Kanté, an astronaut that took photos of some of those phenomena from space. She was aware that not many people are interested in her passion in weather phenomena which makes her sad. After Ladybug helps her accept that passion is more important than success, she learns to not let anything stop her passion for weather.

As Stormy Weather, she became a lot more outgoing about her aggression, rudeness, and selfishness. Her jealousy for Mireille ramped up even higher, as she trapped Mireille with ice in an elevator, destroyed any images of her, and even attacked her fans. And in "Stormy Weather 2", she became vengeful towards Chloé and even trapped her in a block of ice showing how she was calculative enough just to get what she wanted.

As Climatiqueen, she was an ambitious and fame-hungry attention seeker, determined to go great lengths with cheating by forcing civilians into becoming her followers, justifying that people cheat on the internet anyway and herself winning is what mattered. Changing her goal, she became greedy after Chrysalis told her to gain more followers than Chloé.

Abilities

As a Civilian

Aurore is very knowledgeable about meteorology and can recites facts from memory.

As Stormy Weather

With her parasol as her weapon, Stormy Weather was able to control the weather. She could control air and create strong wind. This also allowed her to levitate, fly at high speeds and create small hurricanes. She could create snow and freeze air currents, along with forming snowstorms and hailstorms. She could fire purple lightning bolts from her parasol that cause small explosions on impact. Also, she could aim them towards the sky; by doing that, the sky clouded up and, after a few seconds, a massive lightning struck.

In "Stormy Weather 2", Stormy Weather's powers became expanded to include "all the forces of nature". Consequently, she was able to create a volcano which generated enough force to move Earth out of its orbit. Ladybug noted during the battle that she was far stronger than she was before.

As Climatiqueen

She had most of the same weather powers as Stormy Weather, except if she hit someone with a lightning bolt, they were brainwashed into becoming her online followers.

Relationships

Allies/Friends

Mireille Caquet

Aurore and Mireille hosting the Friendship Day game.

Aurore competed against Mireille for the title of KIDZ+ TV weather girl. When Mireille won instead of her, she was very angry, though she kept it to herself and only lamented about it once she was alone.

As Stormy Weather, her resentment for Mireille grew as she trapped her in a block of ice and destroyed anything that had an image of her.

Despite this, it is shown that as of "Ikari Gozen", that the two seem to get along very well as they both host the Friendship Day game. Since Aurore was known to be working as a weather forecaster in "Stormy Weather 2" and Mireille won the contest, they are probably working together.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug

Aurore is grateful towards Marinette when she stands up for her after Chloé makes fun of her and tells her to ask for help if she needs it.

Aglaé

TBA

Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir

In "Dark Cupid", it was revealed that Aurore is a fan of Adrien and was jealous of Chloé, who had a large poster of him.

In "Ikari Gozen", Aurore and Mireille announce Paris annual Friendship Day where two people picked at random will go on an adventure across Paris in order to find where a celebrity is hiding, with this year's celebrity being Adrien.

In "Hack-San", she and the other Parisians fall under the influence of Robostus, causing her to be against Cat Noir for a time.

In "Perfection", Aurore witnessed Adrien performing a song for Marinette.

Enemies

Chloé Bourgeois

In "Lady Wifi", Aurore was standing at the entrance to the Collège Françoise Dupont when Chloé began criticizing her and the other students' clothing style.

In "Dark Cupid", Aurore, being a fan of Adrien, was very jealous of Chloé, who was showing off her big poster of him.

In "Stormy Weather 2", Aurore became very mad at Chloé for making fun of her bad grade point average and akumatization, causing her to get akumatized once again. As Stormy Weather, she trapped Chloé in a block of ice because of this.

However, in "Climatiqueen", Aurore enters a contest hosted by Chloé. She ends up winning and receives a book signed by Claudie Kanté.
