“ | You've always been so fascinated by them. How many times have you asked me to tell you the story of the Graham de Vanily twin rings, huh? I'm glad it's back in the family where it truly belongs. | ” |
—Amelie Graham de Vanily, "Félix" |
Lady Amelie Graham de Vanily[3][4] is a recurring character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is introduced in season 3 and is the sister-in-law of the late Gabriel Agreste, the younger twin sister of the late Emilie Agreste, the mother of Félix Fathom, the widow of the late Colt Fathom, and the aunt of Adrien Agreste.
As of "Re-creation", she moved into the Agreste mansion with Félix after Gabriel sacrifices himself to heal Nathalie and he and Emilie are currently in the afterlife together.[5]
Appearance
Physical appearance
Since Amelie is Emilie's twin sister, she is borderline identical to her with the exception of platinum blonde hair and a darker shade of green for her eye color.
Civilian attire
Amelie wears a gray blouse with a black stripe on both the edges underneath a dark gray long-sleeved jacket with a pearl-amberish white stripe on the edges of the jacket. She also wears dark gray business pants and black ankle-strap heels.

Personality
Amelie is outwardly positive and optimistic, showing a sensitive side and saying that family should be together in times of distress. As well as appearing to be quite naïve, specially when concerning her son, as revealed in "Gabriel Agreste" she believes that Gabriel gave her son his wedding ring, when in reality Félix actually stole it right off her brother-in-law's finger.
Another example of her naïvety is how she covered for her son when Ladybug and Cat Noir came in search of him, so they could understand the connection between him and Monarch, believing she was doing the right thing by protecting Félix from the superheroes who believed him to be a villain.
Also, according to her son's play in "Representation", in her youth, Amelie was well-behaved and responsible and wanted to please her parents, and for that same desire, she even agreed to wed a heartless billionaire, in an arranged marriage despite the unhappiness it caused her.

Notes
- Emilie Agreste mysteriously disappeared before the events of Season 1. She's later revealed to have fallen in a coma from using the broken Peacock Miraculous, and that she's kept in a glass coffin in a garden under the Agreste mansion.
Relationships
Félix Fathom
Amelie loves her son and cares for him a lot, but she doesn't seem to teach him about morals-rather spoiling and indulging in his bad behavior. During the events of "Félix", she attempts to defend his actions and believes he talked Gabriel into handing over his wedding ring. She happily allows him to keep the ring, revealing that she had only wanted it to give it to him instead of keeping it for herself.
However, she might be unaware that her son discovered her twin sister in a comatose state hidden by Gabriel.
In "Multiplication", Amelie shows how much her motherly love can prevent her from seeing her son for who he really is, as she protected him by lying to Cosmobug and Astrocat about his whereabouts, believing they were mistaken when thinking that Félix was a villain, when they actually wanted to get information from him as he stole all other Miraculouses from Ladybug and gave them to Monarch, to which Amelie might be unaware about.
In "Emotion", Amelie is asked by her son to pretend he's missing in front of Gabriel to see how cruel Gabriel really is, while he impersonated Adrien in his uncle's Diamonds' Dance. After being dismissed by Gabriel, Amelie told Argos he was right about his uncle hating her, to which Félix detransformed, embraced his mother and told her that not everyone in his family were monsters like his uncle, referring to Adrien (and possibly Kagami) . It was also shown that Félix trusted his mother with the knowledge that he had the Peacock Miraculous and that he's Argos.
In "Representation", it's revealed Amelie was originally infertile and only got pregnant due to her husband's use of the Peacock Miraculous, but unlike Colt, Amelie did love their son Félix and never mistreated him nor blamed him for his father's death.
Adrien Agreste
When Amelie visits the Agreste mansion, she joyfully greets Adrien with a kiss, commenting to Gabriel on how much he's grown and calling him the "absolute cutest". This suggests that when her nephew and son were little, she lavished affection on Adrien, and loves him dearly even after his mother's disappearance. She cares about him, despite her hatred for his father, and would apologize to him as shown when her son pretended to be him and tried to get Adrien's friends to hate him, despite her lack of discipline on her son.
in "Re-creation", it's implied that she will look after Adrien alongside Nathalie after his parents' death.
Gabriel Agreste
Amelie outwardly acts friendly towards Gabriel, but in reality, she isn't fond of the fact that he won't return the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings to her. After she believes that Gabriel had given one of rings to Félix, she stops holding that against him.
Unknown to her, her brother-in-law threatened Félix to get Emilie's ring in "Gabriel Agreste".
However, in "Emotion", on Félix's instructions she pretends her son is missing in front of Gabriel and goes in his Diamonds' Dance to ask for his assistance in finding Félix, only to be quickly dismissed by him, but not before she tells Gabriel he has changed since her sister's disappearance. Later in London, Amelie tells Félix he was right about Gabriel, as he saw her worried and didn't care and called him a monster.
In "Conformation", Amelie unknowingly fell victim to her brother-in-law's last scheme by infecting her with his nightmare dust to make her dependent on his Alliance ring app.
In "Re-creation", Amelie moved to the Agreste mansion to take care of her nephew after Gabriel died.
It's unknown if Amelie was aware of her brother-in-law's supervillain identity as Monarch, as her son found out in "Gabriel Agreste".
Nathalie Sancoeur
While their relationship hasn't been explored, in "Emotion", after being coldly dismissed by Gabriel, he asks Nathalie to escort Amelie out and she asks her how she could still help someone so cruel like Gabriel, to which Nathalie apologizes telling her she has no choice but to follow his orders, and Amelie tells her there's always a choice, and Nathalie looks on sadly.
After Nathalie's brought back by Gabriel in "Re-creation", they're seen sitting together and happily talking at the pool party.[6]
Colt Fathom
It's not much known about Amelie's relationship with her late husband. However in "Representation", according to her son Félix, Amelie was forced into an arranged marriage to an American billionaire named Colt Fathom by her parents and she did it to please them. Due to her infertility, they were unable to have children, so Colt used the Peacock Miraculous to get his wife pregnant with Félix. Félix having his stuffed bunny ripped might be an implication of Colt's abuse to Amelie, as she was seen wearing a white rabbit mask in Gabriel's soirée in Gabriel Agreste. However, it's unknown if Amelie was aware of her husband's abusive behavior towards their son. Also, unlike her husband, Amelie genuinely loves their son and never blamed him for Colt's illness and death.
Also despite losing her husband, Amelie managed to move on from his death, unlike her brother-in-law, who also lost a spouse to the damaged Peacock Miraculous.
Mr. and Mrs. Graham de Vanily
According to Félix's play in "Representation", unlike her twin sister, Amelie wanted to please her parents however she could and thus was studious, obedient, and well-behaved, whom made her their heiress after Emilie renounced her title and wealth to marry Gabriel. For those same purposes, they arranged a marriage between Amelie and the wealthy yet heartless Colt Fathom. They also wanted her to give them an heir, which she was initially unable to do due to her infertility, even with the best medical treatments her parents found her. Eventually, Amelie gave birth to her son Félix, due to Colt's use of the Peacock Miraculous.
Emilie Agreste
According to Félix's play in "Representation", Amelie and Emilie had opposite personalities growing up. While Emilie was more unruly, daring, and hated the nobility life, Amelie was docile, mannerly, and wanted to please her parents however she could. Despite leaving her family behind for a life with Gabriel, Emilie still cared for Amelie and felt sorry as she was also infertile and asked Gabriel to help Amelie and Colt to have a child with the Peacock Miraculous. This showed that Emilie loved and cared for her sister, even though she didn't have a good relationship with their parents.
Unknown to her, Gabriel actually kept Emilie's unconscious body under his mansion and used his powers to try to revive her, until in "Re-creation", he instead chooses to reunite with Emilie in the afterlife, finally allowing her to rest.
Duusu
Not much is known on the relationship between Duusu and Amelie other than Félix trusting her to know that he is Argos at the end of "Emotion". In "Representation", it's revealed that Colt temporarily used her power to make Amelie become pregnant with their son.
