Alim Kubdel[1] is a minor character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a historian at the Louvre and the father of Alix and Jalil Kubdel.
In "Evolution", it's revealed that Alim had always known that his daughter Alix would one day become the superhero Bunnyx, as her future self had been sending him postcards about her travels to the past and had been preparing present Alix until the moment Ladybug would need her help to defeat Monarch.

Alim Kubdel stands at a medium height with pale blue eyes and orange-brown hair. He also has a mustache.
Civilian attire
He wears thin-rimmed glasses, a lavender scarf, a purple undershirt, and a dark gray vest with a gold Egyptian hieroglyph pattern. He also wears a gray jacket, gray slacks, and black shoes.

Alim is reserved yet gentle. He cares deeply for his kids, he is very fond of history, and is a good listener. Despite being supportive and patient, he doesn't like theories being accepted as facts, and he does not think they allow for criminal actions, like touching an artifact, in order to prove them.
In "Evolution", his patience is extremely vast as he knew that his daughter was going to become a Miraculous holder but waited for the right moment to unveil her destiny. But knowing of the Miraculouses being extremely important like Alix, he too knew how to keep secrets.

Alim Kubdel loves his daughter, although finding it a bit odd how she doesn't act more formally in particular cases. He is patient with her when she doesn't initially show interest in the watch when he gives it to her, and he understands her loyalty to her friends.

Upon learning of his daughter's destiny to become the Rabbit Miraculous holder in "Evolution" through his future daughter's postcards. Alim decided to train her for the day she'd be needed until seeing Ladybug and Rabbit Noir come through the portal, he knew the day had come and he'd be waiting for her when she returns to their time.
In "Reunion", Alim becomes happy when finding an ancient letter from Alix, telling him about her adventures in the timeline and shares them with her friends and defended her choice of helping Ladybug and Cat Noir to an angry Jalil.
In "Re-creation", after Monarch's defeat, Alix returned permanently in the present time and reunited with her loved ones.

While loving his son, Alim Kubdel sometimes gets exasperated with Jalil's quickness to jump to conclusions and his tendency towards reckless actions.

- So far, he is the only known member of the Kubdel family not to be akumatized.
- He previously owned the family watch before giving it to Alix.
- Based on his explanation of how the watch is handed down to the youngest child in the family in the French version, Alim Kubdel is either the youngest child or an only child to receive the watch from one of his parents.
- However, after the reveal Alim had always known about Alix's future as a superhero, it's possible that he had received the watch directly from his daughter (who would have two Rabbit Miraculous after her battle with Timetagger: the one damaged by future Cat Noir that would be latter fixed by Ladybug's Miraculous Ladybug and the one she got from her past self) and then gave it to his daughter in the present so she could find her future self imprisoned by Timetagger, lying to her about being a family heirloom.
- Based on his explanation of how the watch is handed down to the youngest child in the family in the French version, Alim Kubdel is either the youngest child or an only child to receive the watch from one of his parents.
- As of "Evolution", he is the only parent that knows their child's secret identity as a superhero (not counting André and Audrey Bourgeois who learnt Chloé's former identity as Queen Bee when she revealed it to the public).
- He is fourth civil person to be aware of Miraculous' power before the series following, Gabriel and Émilie Agreste, and Nathalie Sancoeur.
