Prince Ali is a minor character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is the crowned prince of the Achu Kingdom.

Appearance

Physical appearance

Prince Ali is a dark-skinned handsome, slender teenage boy with olive-green eyes and short dark, slightly puffed curly hair with a curly goatee resting on his forehead. His lips are reddish-coloured and his cheeks and the tips of his ears are slightly tinted blood-red.

Civilian attire

He wears a white dress shirt underneath a light gray vest with a white pattern and a gray dress jacket. He has a white handkerchief folded into the left pocket on his jacket, and he wears a dark green tie. He also wears gray dress pants and black dress shoes.

Prince Ali is kind and fun-loving. Due to his royalty, he is expected to act regal and to be safe, which he finds difficult, considering that he greatly enjoys doing new and exciting things. He feels constrained by his schedule and his chaperone's watchful eye, as while he has a good heart and likes helping others, he wants to do things on his own terms, and he understands when risks and detours should be taken. Able to recognize authenticity in people, he doesn't like good actions coming from selfish reasons, but he appreciates real, genuine compassion.

Soraya Khan

Prince Ali is almost always seen with Miss Soraya Khan. However, he tends to take advantage of moments when she is away, in order to do things she did not plan or does not approve of.

Rose Lavillant

Prince Ali suggesting to Rose that they depart to the hospital.

Touched by Rose's compliments, Ali asks Rose to accompany him to the children's hospital where he plans to volunteer and thereby befriends her. In the end card of "Princess Fragrance", he can be seen watching fireworks with her.

Chloé Bourgeois

The sneak peak image of Prince Ali released by Thomas Astruc.

• Prince Ali is named after Thomas Astruc's brother.
  • Additionally, his name is a reference to one of the characters in Scheherazade's stories in One Thousand and One Nights, and the cover identity used by the titular character of the 1992 Disney animated film, Aladdin, including the song of the same name.
• An image of Prince Ali was first shown as a glimpse for a future episode by Thomas on his Twitter, describing it as "straight from the 1001 nights". A couple months later, he posted a video of the last French recording session for the first season that includes Chloé mentioning Ali's name.
• He has many similarities with Adrien, because the both of them are nice rich teenage boys who would like to behave like other children their age and be free. Both are also suffocated by their busy schedule and rich lifestyles and are longing to be freed from them.
• In the French dub of "Princess Fragrance", Prince Ali's kingdom is named Kowar.
• In "Truth" and "Lies", he comes back to Paris to celebrate his birthday.
