—Denis Damoclès and Albert, "The Dark Owl" |
Albert is a minor character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is Denis Damoclès' computer program assistant.
In "The Dark Owl", when Mr. Damoclès' computer was infected by an akuma by Hawk Moth and Mr. Damoclès was akumatized because of it, Albert was akumatized along with him.
Appearance
Normal
Albert takes the form of a circular, pixelated blue face on Mr. Damoclès' computer screen. He has large, black circular eyes and a black handlebar mustache as well.
Akumatized
When he was akumatized, his face was distinctly more human, and he was yellow instead of blue. He also had various computer monitor screens attached to cables that displayed his face.
Personality
As programmed, Albert is polite and obedient to Mr. Damoclès. However, because he functions imperfectly, he gets confused by any command given to him or questions.
When he is transformed by Mr. Damoclès' akumatization, Albert was a lot more intelligent, functional, and helpful, following through on every request by Dark Owl. He also expressed horror when Ladybug managed to knock his computer screen off of the desk.
Abilities
As a computer program
Mr. Damoclès programmed Albert to activate the panel containing the Owl's suit, which Albert fails at because he doesn't recognize the code word "hoo-hoo."
As a villain
Albert controlled most of Dark Owl's technology and traps, like his Owl-Signal, his holograms, and the shipping crate's trap door, from Principal's office. He activated, deactivated or otherwise manipulated these objects on command.
