Meanwhile, Adrien and Plagg were watching TV. Plagg was savoring a piece of his favourite stinky cheese, camembert.
A kwami's heart.
Adrien's alarm went off too early. He still had half an hour. Having nothing important to do, he flipped through the TV channels until he came to the news. There were reports of The Owl. He formed the Owl Scouts. Mr. Damocles and younger kids performed good deeds throughout the city.
Adrien: The Owl is really doing good things. Even Cat Noir wouldn't be able to do all that stuff.
Plagg: You're 15 year old student and model. Plus you have a truckload of classes and practices like Piano, Fencing, Chinese and Basketball. And on top of that, photoshoots keep coming at ya! Of course you can't do what the Owl is doing.
Adrien: You're right. But mother would have wanted me to learn all that.
Plagg: Hey I have to ask. What was she like? You seem pretty attached to her.
Adrien: My mother is the kindest, most loving person I know. She's the one that got me interested in the classes. I used to play piano with her. Father and I played basketball sometimes. But, when she disappeared, everything changed.
Plagg wasn't looking lazy anymore. He looked sadly at Adrien, who was looking down. Plagg truly felt something for Adrien. He wasn't just a Miraculous holder to him. Not just his master, but is best friend. Plagg finished his cheese fast and flew up to Adrien's face and hugged his cheek. Adrien was surprised at first, then he returned the hug with his hands.
Plagg: I'm really sorry you lost her. She sounds wonderful.
Adrien: I'm glad your with me, Plagg. Thank you.
And there it happened. A heartfelt moment between Kwami and Holder. Between best friends. Sunset light filled the room, making it seem warmer. When they broke the tiny hug, they noticed the time.
Plagg: Hey, don't you have Chinese now?
Adrien: Oh right. Let's go.
Plagg takes his position in the jacket and they leave for Adrien's Chinese class, just as the sun was setting.
Next part coming soon!
