Okay in Season One Episode five Chat Noir sneezes from feathers and so does Adrien. How is Marienette so blind to notice this fact?
@Callarson -- Yeah, I would have to admit that Mayor Bougeios is not exactly the most realistic character. But one of the main aspects of the show is that it's a cartoon, which means you are going to have a healthy dollop of unreality and/or a comical dimension to the story. Things that are just for laughs, whether it's more of a satiric/parody kind of humor or slapstick physical stuff. So anyone who's going to take it deadly serious like it was an HBO, Showtime, or Netflix live-action series should probably just give it up -- you're just going to be disappointed if you expect every little aspect of the show to follow a kind of rigid logical realism.
But he's obviously a bad father. About the same as Adrien's dad
Yes, you could say he's almost as annoying as his daughter, apart from the fact that he doesn't get nearly as much screen time. Chloe's worse, in the sense that she's been in the show more than enough to get thrust into all sorts of situations, but there's never a chink in her egotistical self-absorbed armor, no matter the change in situation. It's hard to see any humanity lurking in there anywhere, which just makes her plain annoying.
Technically they should vote for a new mayor.
Already happened. It's just Paris' bad luck that nobody but Armand D'Argencourt challenged the incumbent. Bad as Mayor Bourgeois may be, even a do-nothing mayor is better than a full-time fruitcake.
(If you don't know what I'm talking about, see the episode "Darkblade".)
I was thinking about that too
@Positronic "@Chelsea - Hmm. I don't know if that's a fair question. I'm kind of prejudiced in Marinette's favor, because we know her so well now. But as a boy finding out a girl he barely knows is that uber-obsessed with him? In real life, that would just about kill any chance she had. I mean, if you just found that out, even not knowing who the girl was -- it's like, RUN AWAY!!! On the other hand, it's hard to parse how Adrien can't have noticed how cute and sweet Marinette is... but "sweet" is harder to quantify when weighing it against obsessiveness, which almost anyone's going to view as creepy. It's just that we get to see all aspects of Marinette, so we know there's a lot more to her than that. But take it from me, that's NOT the first thing you want a guy to learn and notice about you."
I think that Adrien knows that all the girls in France love him so I doubt he would find it weird and creepy that she has a chart board specifically about him. I betcha he had probably seen even weirder stuff like someone breaking into his house and collecting his baby teeth.
@Callarson - True, I was just considering it from a typical guy's POV -- I forgot to factor in that Adrien's a famous supermodel, so I guess obsessive fans come with the territory, and he'd have to adjust to dealing with that in his job. Still, the main point remains... guys don't find that sort of extreme behavior attractive in a girl.
Very true I know I definitely wouldn't
What do you think?
