Look how relaxed Marinette was when she hugged Adrien -- not spazzing out at all like she usually does around Adrien. She's making progress!
I'm a fanboy... I used to like all kinds of superheroes, but now I find the mainstream ones (Marvel and DC) just too grim and boring, and no fun anymore. Miraculous is a breath of fresh air, and a totally new spin on those old superhero tropes. It's a high school romcom AND a superhero story. But mainly it's about Marinette, and how she copes with her life. In the the Stoneheart/Origins story, you can see how she never imagined herself as a superhero -- too much of an ordinary girl, and too imperfect -- or so she thinks. But she's risen to the challenge, as she does to dealing with people and situations in her daily life, and she's becoming more competent and confident in her abilities all the time, and it seems like she's overcome her nervousness and awkwardness around Adrien in the second season. As long as she continues to listen to her heart and put her best effort into everything she does, I think she'll find the happiness she deserves. She's really more extraordinary than she realizes.
